Good job making this. I still remember using bicycle dynamo to power my old Walkman. It was so fun to listen to during up and down hills.
Must've been quite fun! That was a great use of one of these dynamos. Thanks for your comment!
Young man, you are on another level!! 💯
Its slow because u used whole Board from charger and there are resistors that slowing electricity. They are build for high voltage not For DC motor. So you have to Make your own "board" that for DC motor for faster charging
It's not perfect, but only my first iteration of the dynamo phone charger concept. Good point to keep in mind for the future!
Good job and very resourceful!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for this--I've had a bike with a 6V/3W S.O.N. hub generator attached to lights for 20 years now, and I want to add a charger to it. I'm wondering if the load of this charger would dim my lights too much. I guess experimentation is the only way to find out! Would the charger draw a load if the phone is not attached?
Hi there. You're welcome. The charger only draws a load when there is a load attached to drive.
@@MaxImaginationhey will it work on new phones these days
@@coding32111 Yes
Ah yes pimp my bicycle
How l9ng did it take to charge to full
2 Hours
Bro just say truth is it real because i wanna make this for school exhibition
Yes, it charges, but at a slow rate.
Ok thanks
Where can I buy something like this? But one that I can run a regular outlet for my JBL BOOMBOX 3 when I'm on my bicycle rides? Please help!!! 😊
Hi there. Try looking up "Dynamo generator phone charger" on Amazon. You might find something like it.
I will try it some day
🤣
Trying rn
Awesome job buddy! Keep it up!
Thanks for the visit! Cheers 👍
Nice Bro So Nice!
Grate 💪😎👍
Cheers 😎👍
Where can I buy one of these
How many volts? and rpm ?motor is that???
Hi, this is a 12V 540-type motor
Great job son. I use a dynamo
Thanks, Doyle. Neat :)
Well done kid .. You got a sub
Thanks, Mick! 😁
Wahhhhh
To get your phone fully charge? How long does it takes?
It would probably take the same amount of time to charge as your phone plugged to an outlet, 1-2-3 hours depending on what ampere board you're using and what phone.
A cheap button phone back in the days would probably charge within a 30-minute bike ride. It all depends.
For this bicycle powered phone charger to be more practical, you'd need to hook it up with some battery, sort of like a power bank, so the dynamo charges the batteries first, then from the battery to your phone.
@@MaxImagination it would also depend on the speed you're going too right?
