It needs a non return valve that lets it draw air in and then closes to stop it escaping when you pump,would be better just keeping the pump he took all the parts off of.

THE EVIL TH-camR I was about to ask that very same question. Since, he didn't reply, I'm guessing the hack doesn't really work. And, in the demonstration, the phone meter just kept going back and forth without showing any actual percentage of the progress of the phone charging. Another sign that the hack doesn't actually work.
