yes I would invest in a SMALL space to ship and handle logistics, BUT try to invest your money in small amounts take small steps I learned the hard way to grow steady NOT fast
Can I use a co-packer to manufacture the product but then instead of using commercial fulfillment warehouse services; can the product be shipped from a personal residence in Florida? Reason 1: Quality Control / revalidate the product/package before shipping the product to the customer until the trust is built with the co-packer. Reason 2: I have 800 sq ft (three temperature-controlled rooms) which are unutilized and can be repurposed for inventory /shipment. Thanks
well in florida they have VERY laxed regulations from home you could but the use of a co packer maybe not allowed because you technically are not making at home
due to state cottage food laws they dictate the way and what you can sell their is no real legal way around this with out a co packer making them or a 3rd party making and then selling via fulfillment center due to the rules only a couple states like Florida and class b California cottage food allows for shipping from home. OR you can rent a commercial kitchen and sell to local markets , retailers etc.

Does FDA need to approve anything? Are you able to blend spices yourself? Or the fulfillment center handles the blending and logistics (shipping)?

most spices dont have "measurable " amounts of certain ingredients so they are not fda required it has to be measurable amounts

all the red tape though. licensing, do you send your labels off to the warehouse/fulfillment center do they set the labels and fill the bottles?
