It's a scam where locals claim the place is dangerous then run a racket offering themselves as bodyguards to walk tourists through the slum. Nothing will happen to you, especially in daylight. Foreign tourists love slums for some reason.

Et ensuite le vendeur qui a l'audace d'augmenter le prix du repas je trouve cela irrespectueux et très indécent. Et puis à la fin de la vidéo le gars qui demande de lui payer un déjeuner, c'est énervant cette manie de demander de l'argent aux touristes.

I am usually afraid to eat anything on Kibera because am not sure of the source of their water. I should not really because these days there us piped water to be bought. Yves is very brave to overcome the smells and sit to eat.
