Thankyou my fellow Kenyans for showing the world how cool we are! I salute those Motor bikes Men for being nice and friendly. Our country is beautiful !.
You didn't want the disaster of the broken bike, but you'll never forget the time you spent waiting for the repairs. Even the setbacks are gains on such a journey!. Bon chance, M. Yves!
Yesterday at Mombasa beach I heard a mzungu behind me telling his friend, 'Kenya is a very nice country' the lady added, 'especially the people, they are so friendly.' I couldn't help but add, yeah, that's Kenya for you..
The black car or your escort knew what he was doing by protecting you at that steep descending section... The big trucks were moving fast and are the most dangerous thing on a steep slope on a 2 way traffic road
The Rift valley is mesmerizing. The wide expanses, the light and those clouds hanging on top of you like curtains lifting as you approach the campsite. I have severe Africa nostalgia. Thanks so much for showing us the beauty and magnificence of these Kenyan lands.
The sad thing thing is that the rift Valley will eventually divide our continent into two and the southern drift will join Australian continent in the next 280 million years
As u exit Kenya ...there are soo many things u will notice very different from Kenya people n culture n customs...brace urself...Kenya is exceptional ❤❤❤
The people are highly educated and friendly, but unfortunately, their leaders are highly corrupt - that's why Kenyan per capita income is about 2,200 dollars per year. Kenya is a rich country, but people are very poor.
You’re back on the road 🎉 Btw, been on many safaris for work - that little walk you did is 10x more authentic than the majority of safari experiences. And “walking safaris” are even more expensive and exclusive than regular safaris. So you just had a very rich person experience. As you inch further south, and get out of Kenya, this will become more and more common and you’ll have to keep your head on a swivel as things like Buffaloes, Hienas, elephants and and even Lions do cross highways and roads. It will be an absolute thrill that I can’t wait to watch and I pray you stay safe and alert always! Onwards, so happy for you!!!! 🚵♂️🚴♂️
Have lived in Kenya all my life and I have seen wild animals more than enough times.. but I just can't get enough of how beautiful they are, every time I see them its absolutely breathtaking.
You have a very positive outlook, a trait not commonly shared by many in the Western/Global North towards 'others.' In Kenya or the Global South, we have our share of challenges, but you recognize that such challenges exist universally as part of humanity. Positive perspectives play a crucial role in bridging cultural gaps. Acknowledging that every society faces its own set of difficulties contributes to fostering a more inclusive and empathetic worldview. People, irrespective of their location, share common human experiences, encompassing both positive and negative aspects. The advice from the man about writing a book is one of the positive aspects. Put it into consideration.
Thumbs up to the man who recommended him to write a book and promised to buy. He is the kind of uncle you want to have coz...oh my people u represent us well at home as appreciate watching good reminders of what we are missing being so far away from home..t
