Here we are, the last video of 2023. This year was wild, thank you guys so much for everything. ❤ PS: From now on, new video's will be posted on Friday instead of Tuesday. No reason, just changing things up :)
Select/highlight all channels in step sequencer, HOLD SHIFT press control +L - now all your channels selected are named in a mixer track by order. You are welcomed. Also Control, ALT + C the channels to color them before sending them to the mixer track.
Before this, hightlight the channels..you can press ctrl shift C or G to color them before sending them to mixer tracks, so that the tracks are also colored
I used to think mixing was a code I could never crack. Once i discovered gain stageing and how to level my tracks, things got a lot easier. Great advice, though.
Going above zero DB has a high chance of clipping the sound. I would rely more on your ear if I was you over the tonal balance plug-in because in the end, it can be a good guideline, but it should not be the end all be all.
apreciatet he work you are doing and thank you, i thought i would mention this to you, when selecting multiple tracks in mixer to send to bus, many beat maker tutorials say to press comntrol and select tracks, wrong, if you click twice the track you are starting on and move mouse up mixer it will select the rest with out needing to use control, try it and you will see i hope this speeds things up for you as ya dont need the keyboard take care
Hi brother, I would like to understand something about the 808, it must exceed 0 dB, explain to me because that's when I no longer understand anything about mixing,
So happy I found your channel! so nicely edited and fun to watch and learn. I wish for your next video to show us how to properly prepare a music track to send for mastering 💓🙏
Once you learn the basics, I think this video is freaking great btw, learn about the magic that is the mids...that's a whole process in itself but it will take you beats to the next level.
Fucking awesome video bro. Thank you so much. You clarified some simple things I couldn’t figure out. Subscribed and will continue to watch your videos!
I'm getting into FL studio and your voice was strangely familiar, then I remember I used footage of you for a Adobe Premiere course on skillshare where you were an "arctic explorer" lmao Great tutorial, subbed
@@FLBASICS It was really good, I just decided that I prefer DaVinci over premiere in the end since I've used it for years before trying out anything else
Yeah it’s funny because I’ve watched so many TH-cam tutorials about FL Studio and mixing they make it look so easy but I’ve tried it so many times I still can’t get it right for mixing my instruments and vocals 🤦♂️ then I have trouble trying to master my track as well 😅🤦♂️ I can never get it to sound right
That’s how i figured out some TH-camrs were just doing it for subscribers likes an views with Bs 🤦♂️🤣 and I’ve noticed a thing or two about TH-cam since the plandemic all these famous people have jumped on the bag wagon on TH-cam
hi, super helpful video for beginners, thx so much, only thing is that when i try to do the glue compressor, i move the knob of the fruity compressor but when i touch another channel and go back to drum bus channel it seems like the setting of the knob resets itself to full compression, it doesn't allow me to change the knob (to describe it better, it allows me to change it everytime but it always returns to full compression), is it me or is it the program that just works this way? Thx in advance for the answer.
Yeah this is weird seeing someone from Adobe Primer Pro doing a video of FL Studio Mixing 🤣😂 nice tutorial though 💯 and that’s so true though what he was saying in this video 💯
Okay but one thing i dont understand is why you didnt tell us what to use on our master.. like obviously we cant just export a quite beat to wav/mp3 and send to people.. like how do we get our mix loud ?

Wow , I will try this , I’ve been thinking about this for a while now … I thought it’s still not incorporated with fl studio …. I’ll give the result
Thank you so much 🙏
Holy shift ! this makes organizing my beats to mix much more simpler thank you!
Before this, hightlight the channels..you can press ctrl shift C or G to color them before sending them to mixer tracks, so that the tracks are also colored
This is the way.

That’s right! More Basic channels coming soon 🤫Thank you so much for watching!
I see that you exceed 0 dB, yes or no should we exceed zero dB, I often use a tonal balance which tells me that my bass sounds too deep!

Hi brother, I would like to understand something about the 808, it must exceed 0 dB, explain to me because that's when I no longer understand anything about mixing,
It’s one of the only sounds u would do that with. U want the distortion a little to rock the speakers.

Bro you just made my life easier. Thank you very much
This trick of compressor is mad I just tried it thanks plus 1 sub
so what about soft clipper on master and 808 hitting between 0 and 3 db? is it bad or what? many producers recommend it
thanks!
You sound like a young, Mr. Krabs
Great!! Thx for this Tutorial !
Thanks for the huge tip, mate!!!

Great tutorial, subbed
Thank you so much for watching! How was the course? I'm actually thinking of creating a new one for my other channel! (premiere basics)
Oh and I remember the day we shot that part. I had covid at that moment and went home immediately after :')

I tried that and the beat sounds good everywhere except for my phone

Bus is mind blowing lol

Bro !!!!!!!!!!!!
How are all of your tracks audios???
When you made the effects link to all the drum sounds from one bus doesn’t that defeat the purpose of each sound needing different eq etc

@@stillthesameshit1315 so how do we use our mixed beats for playback to send to artists
@@4rios78 what??
Ctrl + L sends a track to the mixer and automatically renames it to the instrument name.
Yes I’ve mentioned this before in other videos :) But since this is a beginner video I wanted to make sure the routing was clear and understandable
