I didn't understand. First you add 2 soft clippers to the end of the máster chain and after that, (behind or below the soft clippers?) you add: the compressor, another soft clipper and the limiter? So you end up with a master chain o 5 plugins?? Please help me clear this out 🙏🏼

Play around with it, you will.
In short, write your song, create a bus for the tracks, chain the individual instruments together into a bus, turn instruments down. Render your instruments into an audio track. Take it apart put it back together. Master

To add, you can also use FL Maximus for multi band compression and limiting. Saturation can also do wonders for the perceived loudness

Finally, someone knows what gain staging is. Many tutorials I watched don't know the difference between the pre-gain and the volume faders. And that's affect the quality of the sound. But should adjust the volume of your sounds from the pre-gain knob in channel rack first so they are not clipping (usually all your sounds should sit under -6db so the sounds will be healthy). Then put the effects you want, and finally level your sounds again but this time from the faders. (cause the effects affect the volume of the sound).

Hello, I have a problem. When I master my song and then exports it, the song master turns out to have low volume.. is there a fix to this? Pls urgent.
This is happening because your mix is either to loud or you mastered it to loud . My suggestion is master your beat to about 14 LUFS . That’s a sweet spot . && also make sure your beat is not mastered already ! Make sure it’s a mixed wav file or mixed mp3 file

hello bro I am very confused, whenever I do a mix in fl my beat sounds good and loud, but when I upload to youtube it is quiet and different in mix from the beats of other creators. I don't know what to do, I have tried everything, please help
i use only soft clipper or limiter on master like this big producers who gave me this tip and my mix doesn't sounds like it should be
You need to sure your export settings are set to the highest. There is a quality drop down menu. Set that to the highest value. It's some thing like 512. Not at FL right not so don't quote me on that number. Search TH-cam and you'll get a vid on how to do it. I struggled with the same problem years ago

Hey man :) no, those are just two different ways you can master your beat. The one with 2 softclippers is the easiest, the other one with the compressor/soft clipper/limiter is a little more complicated, but gives you more control :)

Trying to figure out a standard method for master/mixing is impossible. It seems like every producer have completely different setups.

I'm an old guy , trying to do music for a karate team, and I'm trying to explain I'm not an engineer, I fixed all the mud now it sounds like it's in a closet. when I did music 25 years ago we hired a wizard to master, I dont mean he was really good , I mean a gypsy with a long white beard would show up at the studio out of the shadows with a box with wires and tubes that looked like a giant nixie clock.
