Absolutely love Barbera. We never drink an American wine over it, especially if you’re eating anything.

My wife and I occasionally drink American Barberas, but today we'll being shopping for Italian Barberas, marked DOC, DOP and DOCG!
Please do yourself a favor drink Barbera with meatballs and manicotti even and everything bagel with cream cheese is an excellent pairing

If you like spicy notes go with the California Barbara. Very good.The gold country in Northern California and Lodi area are known for Barbara.
