- I try this inframe carburetor cleaning first and usually this works well. If not then it may have to be removed for a more thorough cleaning.
Have done hundreds of these this way with success.
Tools needed. 10 mm wrench or socket, maybe a carburetor gasket kit for your specific model, carburetor cleaner, rags , and maybe a can of compressed air or if you have an air compressor it will help you blow out ports and dry the carb.

Great video. My 4 year old Honda HSS724 is surging bad. Still moves the snow, but this will be a spring project after winter is over. You make it look easy. Thanks so much.
I have done so many times that it is easy now. This is about a 20-30 min job. Maybe the first time it may take longer. Just have patience and you will succeed. Thanks.
I just followed your video And my Honda runs like new. Thank you 🙌🏻 so happy I have found your channel
Happy to hear. You made my day and all the effort worth it.
Thanks. Great tips!
When you stand the machine up do you have to worry about oil and gas leaking out.
Make sure gas is not leaking from cap. I shut off gas or siphon some out. I address the oil issue in several videos. Either close the valves or most shops recommend draining oil.
hi anthony, what size main jet would you recommend for a hs 1132 at 6200'? I live in south lake tahoe. thanks for all your helpful videos!
I wouldnt change it unless you are having power issues? On an older 1132 have not seen those issues at 6200 feet. If power issues may be other problem. Like find out what your fast throttle RPM's are. should be 3600 give or take.
I had honda HS521 snowblower work just fine but leaking all the gas out from little tiny hose when I open the gas switch on , I just want to know how u fix the leak
Is it coming from hose? Then maybe hose needs replacing.
I had honda 521 snowblower leak gas when I put the valve on position the gas leak out all from the little drian hose on the side I just want to know how u fix that
sound like a bad float.
Im having a tough time finding a replacey carb for a GX270 Serial No.GCAB-2091772. When i look online none cones up with with a sediment cup. Any help is appreciated
all over the place. try boats.net. the carb for the 270's will fit any 270. is this a pressure washer or something? it doesnt matter. a snowblower carb will run this engine.
@@HondaSnowblowerEnthusiasts311 it's a Honda HS928 Snowblower with electric start. So the sediment cup is not a must?
you siad you wanted the carb.please post on our facebook group Honda Snowblower Enthusiasts.@@georgep.2665
You could take pictures of model and the serial plate. Go to a local Honda dealer too.
This inframe carb cleaning works in mostly slightly clogged carburetors so I try this first before having to completely remove and dismantle.
