Did you just bolt on the Supercharger or were internals (besides pump gears) changed out too? I know the 5.0 can put up with some pretty good numbers, but I dunno about OEM stuff holding up to aftermarket.

I have the same setup..the Coyote motor is highly underrated and highly modifiable. You have a great foundation to build a beast! There are tons of examples on TH-cam of sleeper 5.0 F150's for sure.

Had a Ford Motorsport on a 97 F150 and a kid in a Burger King drive through said he think my alternator was going out,,,,,, I said "really you think"....
i recommend hi flow cats! or delete. these packages have melted cats and hurt motors... i got lucky and split mine in half never hurt motor but lots have.
Not much change in mpg if you keep you foot out of it and drive normal. Never hard launched a customers truck in 4hi so not sure. But my raptor has no issue with it.

Not from what I have seen. A 6.2 Chevy with a Whipple and headers is good for ~550 whp, whereas the Fords are getting to 650+ with a good tune. Both on pump gas. As noted above, the Hemis have fragile pistons and can't take much boost stock.
The 5.0 will blow either away when it comes to throwing boost on a stock long block and making reliable power. It's not even close honestly. The Chevy would need a cam to even sniff what the Ford does and even then I don't think the lt can safely take as much as what the 5.0s do. The 392 isn't even in the conversation.
Doesn't look that fast honestly figured it would be quicker for 250 plus hp but im coming from a 18 single cab so the weight I guess is why it doesn't look as fast
@@kevinanglin678 theres some other channels running vmp 750hp packages and there running 11.5 quarter mile times and cutting 3.2 sec 60 fts with a 2" lift and ridge grapplers. This truck is making less power but i bet it would still run a 12 sec 1/4 and mid 4 sec 60fts. This truck is still hauling.

that is right, so obvious. I have a 2021 f150 supercharged. It is going to consume more gas, but you will have a lot more fun with no big difference of gas consumption. it dependes how you play the gas pedal. With Low speed or regular speed you are not going to even see a moderate difference.

She took me by a car in a MUSTANG in the end she goes home and puts her car in the garage me I can leave and go hook up a boat or mg trailer, haul my shit AND have power too??! Best of both worlds

@richf2834 he obviously isn't full throttle until well over 15-20 mph, is in 2wd, and is on the street. It's well known that if you just smash the throttle from a stop in a factory suspension F-150 you just get wheel hop. (Raptor excluded) Manufacturer 0-60 times are measured in perfect conditions with a professional driver on a surface lathered with trackbite.

While it is true with a 500 tune you won’t get the hp number that this thing makes, but you will get much more area under the curve on the Ecoboost with just a tune and it will in fact be faster. It’s been proven over and over again that the Ecoboost is superior to the coyote in this application. And with the coyote these mods will reduce the towing capabilities of the coyote while improving them in the EB. They respond very much like a diesel and they are amazing power plants

The direct injection systems can be load but it a very good motor.

Did you try running mid grade or premium? Mines fine on mid or higher

John Flores use a different oil weight. But we use amsoil signature in almost all our builds.

Is it true that if you supercharge a 6.2 Chevy pickup and also on a 6.4 liter hemi that both of then will smoke the f150?
George Williams the fords are a lot lighter and have a 10 speed. The 6.4 hemi don’t take much boost before they break.

We built a single cab 2wd 10 speed lightning clone using a Whipple the week before. It was a beast.
