I had this car back in the day! 88 CRX Si. What a ride. Manual steering, excellent steering, insane cargo in the back... it was black too... loved the sunroof! This was 23 years ago..lol.. glad to see people still keeping them alive... You'll laugh at what I paid for it rust free, 88k miles... $325 cash... this was around the year 2000 😆
I own a black 1992 chevy camaro z28 with a 500hp sbc, and I just purchased a back 1988 crx si not too long ago. Both are projects. They're both my dream cars, and finally, I own them!!!! I can't wait to finish both to relive my childhood fantasy of driving both!
I was SO upset that I didn't make it this year. On the way up, about halfway there, my car decided it was going to lose oil pressure and spun a rod bearing. I was wanting to do an engine build, but didn't want to be doing one this soon....lol
I am from Germany and have a VTEC-Version with 110kw in black, best Condition - this Car is takes me higher and higher every day, best whishes to all who love these cars - they are the best 👍👍👍💪😊
The first 40 seconds of this video is the exact reason I stopped building Hondas back in the day. Got so tired of always carrying tools around in case anything went wrong in a car with a different motor and parts from 4 different vehicles bolted to it but now as a man with a good job and a house with a driveway and multiple newer reliable vehicles I have the itch again.
This was my first car bought a 89 in 2006 at 19 years old Then sold it in 2012 for a dodge challenger You never forget your first love Mine was exactly like the one in this vid With black rims
You inspire me. I'm gonna work on my CRX tomorrow starting with something. All my parts are all over the place prepping for paint job. It takes alot of time but your videos help man. Thanks man
Thanks for the video. Literally drooling at those classic Hondas especially your CRX. I have an EG sedan that I've owned since new that I want to mod someday hopefully.
Evan Downing There is a Honda Car Heaven! Love your CXR and your video! No talk, no need, just beautiful cars at an unbelievable Car/Motorcycle location! I road the Dragon on my 'Honda 750' back in the mid 2000's with a couple friends. We had an awesome time! Making plans with my son to bring our 93 Honda Civic Si Hatch to this meet next year. We'll be like kids in a candy shop. Road Trip from Toronto, Ontario, Canada...can't wait! Great video and thank you for posting!!
Thanks for putting this together. I wanted to be there so bad for the past two years with my Prelude SH but still looking for a block replacement. I sure hope more Preludes roll out next year. Until then, stay on it fam! HONDA LOVE!!! ❤️🔥
For sure! It was awesome that you made it out. Glad to get the opportunity to link up with a fellow TH-camr. Next time I’ll have to hang with some more folks. I was mostly solo the entire trip.
Beautiful CRX! Id love to own one someday, a decent not molested to hell, previously stolen(or currently stolen) one that is. I always admired these little old Hondas
I got on CR-X at the age of 20years old. I got into Integra typeR at time of30generations. It was own youth it self. It is the times when Honda shined most.
Your crx sound nice. That steering wheel looks a little lacking. Add 20 dollar motor trend tight fit wheel cover least give extra grip on sides and comes with red stitching.
Nice video Seth. At 7:50, the red Honda with the "Hondasport" banner is OG ! That was my friend's company based out of Sacramento California (NorCal) waaaaay back in in 94-95.
@@Insight2.0l : Nice !! I bought one of their first carbon fiber over lay for my front dash panel. The carbon cover cover the whole panel including the rounded edges. It was pretty sweet during that time. Also got my first set of front clear signal housing units from there.
Definitely a good turn out. Your car is so clean in person…. If you’re into the golden era Hondas and you’re from the south CHD is definitely where you should be.
That almond cream wagon was clean. Those 2 y49 yellow Barbados were nice and that Toyota van was dope. All those JDM wheels crazy mint. I would love to experience this on time.
Great Video and must've been a great time. I had to do a double look back at the taller gentleman talking with John from LHT Performance and guessed correctly. Legendary EricTheCarGuy
Remember that period around 2016 where Hondas got a bad rep, and "Ricer" was thrown around on the daily? So glad that's over. Hondas made from 88-2000 were just peak automobile to me and the styling engineering and simplicity make them my favorite things on the road.
Had the CRX si back in 1989 I think or maybe it was a 90 loved that car drove it from NJ to FL like 3 times. Had to trade in in for Hyndai Scoupe when I had kids
I love HONDA CRX model from 1988 -1992 and HONDA CIVIC HATCHBACK from 1988 - 1991! I wish I have these types of cars, it has to be manual in order to have fun.
Beautiful car man, really clean setup - and you have a champ white ITR!?!? 🤤 I live in Raleigh NC and my goal is to one day make it over West to drive this amazing road…
Great video showing a little of everything the event includes. I had pulled into the High School right behind you and was lucky to park right beside ur CRX and snap a picture. Your car is soo beautiful and smooth in real life. Wish I had a chance to talk with you but never really did. Anyways, great seeing you there 😉
I love CRX. Always wanted one. Probably should have gotten one instead of the RX-7 TII that I had. But the RX-7 still worked reliably for as long as I had it, so it worked out ok
I saw the sign, but the sheer number of cars that showed up made it a little hard for people to stay off the grass. Luckily, I got there early and got a spot to park.
Great footage! I wish I could have made it but I'm in Autobody Repair class right now and couldn't. Hopefully next year I'll be able to make it with the Del Sol.
Awesome Video 👌🏽🙏🏽 Thank you for bringing that beautiful car of yours. Video does not do it justice. This was Honda Heaven 😂 I’ve got to get mine running for next year. Love the editing and shots very well done 👍🏽
Just a aside, to the extra main harness relay you travel with. I replaced mine with a single 40A relay in the past and have seen other convert to 2 40A relays. $100 for an OE item that fails or 2 easily accessible items, might be a nice upgrade. Could even opt for a Solid state relay if desired.
2023 and still one of the greatest looking cars on the planet
I'm Japanese and own an S660, but I was very moved by the fact that there are people who love Honda cars so much.
i cannot drive anything else but honda...Specially sivic
Honda and Toyota. Because when we needed cars to go the distance and stand the test of time your cars came through.
Was real nice watching this. Reminded me is simpler times and real cars
We love them because they are the Lego of cars. Great as is or spend as much or as little as you like to make it your own....
I love my honda! I am Mexican American
So nice to see so many classic Honda's in one place. The Honda Odyssey with the back seats pulled out and all done up was awesome.

Pareil que toi, J’ai eu la même. Une petite bombe magnifique 🤩 Beaucoup de plaisir à rouler avec que de bon souvenirs… Une excellente voiture😊
I paid 800 for my 88 si 200k miles on it back in 2001. I put a ZC DOHC engine it it. Man I loved that car. Wish I still had it.
Muscle car guys can say whatever they want, but the sound of a B-Series VTEC is just amazing!
I own a black 1992 chevy camaro z28 with a 500hp sbc, and I just purchased a back 1988 crx si not too long ago. Both are projects. They're both my dream cars, and finally, I own them!!!! I can't wait to finish both to relive my childhood fantasy of driving both!
I had a yellow one I bought brand new. What fun it was to drive.
I was SO upset that I didn't make it this year. On the way up, about halfway there, my car decided it was going to lose oil pressure and spun a rod bearing. I was wanting to do an engine build, but didn't want to be doing one this soon....lol
Dang, sorry to hear. Hopefully next year treats you better.
I've had some great car's over 40+ years...
I miss my little CRX more than any of them

自分もCR-X乗っていたので、海外でこんなに綺麗な状態のCR-Xを見れて嬉しです。
サイバー二代目最高!でも3代目で泣いた
デザインがインサイトに引き継がれCR-Zが出たけどなんか違う
LHT in the house!!! YES SIRR!

Best thing is this design language is timeless. The dash design looks like this in all cars nowadays. Hilariously beatiful car.
Whats so funny?
The 80s and 90s era Hondas are so clean compared to their modern offerings
So you think new prelude coupe concept looks like shit?
Love the main relay spares, thoughtfulness of your fellow Hondas at it's most beautiful.

That crx is to clean love how you take care of it love it and still enjoy it well done keep the videos coming 👍🏼
Awesome coverage man! Thanks again for coming out and joining us this year!
Thanks for putting on a great gathering. Next year I’m staying closer to the meet.
Thanks for the video. Literally drooling at those classic Hondas especially your CRX.
I have an EG sedan that I've owned since new that I want to mod someday hopefully.
Its cool to see Honda crx is still looking good on these days
子供の頃、アメリカ映画にHONDAの車が出てきただけで胸を踊らせた事を思い出すな👍
Honda will always be my love.....:)

Man.. this vlogs of Hondas never gets boring... damn!
Thank you for being such a great caretaker of that beautiful CRX!!
良いコンディションですね!羨ましい!
日本でのCRXの中古車価格は毎年上がり続けています。
Its refreshing to see people enjoying older cars, new cars are just souless boxes tbh

when you have an integra type R but you decide to take the CRX to the meet. very classy indeed. great video.
It was great to finally get to meet! Can’t wait for the next event 🙌🏼

I miss my ‘91 civic hatch♥️…. The spaciousness of the interior, the light weight feel…. Smooth as butter
Beautiful CRX! Id love to own one someday, a decent not molested to hell, previously stolen(or currently stolen) one that is. I always admired these little old Hondas
This event was amazing, the cars, the people and the roads!! Great video, you really captured the vibe and spirit of this event.
Thanks, Jason! Next time we will get together a bit more!
As someone whom lives on 129, I love seeing all the cars.
Next time your out here, if you see a cherry red 1st gen CRX Si
That’s me :)
Remember the very first HondaTech meet we all went to down in Nashville back in like 2005? This is nostalgia.
For sure. This is bringing back those vibes for sure. Honda game still going strong!
That's me in the Transtop RHD Del Sol! Lol. Good chatting and meeting you briefly! Love your CRX on Sprint Hart CP's!
Nice car for sure! I have a soft spot for Del Sols.
@@crxseth build one please!
Bro that thing was sick! I have a 94 Del Sol and as soon as I seen the trunk lid up, I knew right away it was right hand drive.

what a great little car. And so well cared for and loved! Way to go.
i was there in my 22 Si :) incredible event with incredible people and builds!
Man this looks awesome. I was expecting a lot of people but that is a TON. I'm def going next year.
It was bigger than I expected.
Those Civic WagoVans are for sure one of the cleanest and coolest cars that showed up 👌
Thanks for showing my car some love , cb7, your camera is so clear
Your crx sound nice. That steering wheel looks a little lacking. Add 20 dollar motor trend tight fit wheel cover least give extra grip on sides and comes with red stitching.
There is nothing better than a well sorted EF
Hi Seth,
I really liked your foresight before the departure, with the stock of PGM-FI main relay 😆
Can never be too prepared!
My brother had one, i liked it! Your CR-X is in an amazing shape, very beautiful car!
Nice video Seth. At 7:50, the red Honda with the "Hondasport" banner is OG ! That was my friend's company based out of Sacramento California (NorCal) waaaaay back in in 94-95.
I still have a hondasport wing on my 95 coupe. I bought the wing in October 1997.
Nice! I’ve never heard of that, but that was before my time.
@@Insight2.0l : Nice !! I bought one of their first carbon fiber over lay for my front dash panel. The carbon cover cover the whole panel including the rounded edges. It was pretty sweet during that time. Also got my first set of front clear signal housing units from there.
🤤 What a gorgeous CRX 😵 And it revs?! 🫠 It needs to be hugged by me 🫂
I Just received my Hoodie. They came out better than I expected. Thank you.
Thanks for the support!
Lots of great cars and that looks super fun!!
Love the spare Main Relay💪🏽🔥💯.... bring back memories 🤣

Thanks! It’s definitely a great time.
Cool! Best era of Honda. love from JPN
thanks for keeping the stock look!!!
Great video. Didn't realize you were there or I'd have said hi. Give my best to the gang back in KY. I just moved away from there last year.
That almond cream wagon was clean. Those 2 y49 yellow Barbados were nice and that Toyota van was dope. All those JDM wheels crazy mint. I would love to experience this on time.

Always a good time at ToD..... i went there last weekend and ran it multiple times.
Extra main relays, smart guy. I had a 91 si hatch with a b18c5. I love your crx..
The fact you brought a few extra fuel replays shows you are a real honda enthusiast . If you know you know!

Damm!!!! I miss my 92 bubble back hatchback civic !!! I should’ve never sold it 20years ago . I’m getting flashbacks
There's a lot of cars I've owned over the years I wish I had not sold then, I'd sell them now and retire haha

That was awesome. Thanks!
Sweet coverage. Hope to make it out next year.
Wow , mis my old 89 crx , 89 civic sedan and the 00 gsr .. mis my old young days
4:30 love the Acura RSX Type S wing in the background!
Beautiful super clean CRX, sweet. That non-assisted steering must be a bit of an arm workout on the Dragon though.

I had no idea this existed! I'll be there with a 3G Accord next year for sure.
In my early 20s I always wanted this type of car when I was living in the USA
Imho, putting a K20 into this beautiful car would be the cherry on top.
