We were there in September 2022 and most everything was closed down. We also had a tropical storm graze us and keep us tied up in Road town for a day. It was HOT! with lots of Sargasso weed but not crowded at all. Still had a great time.

I just landed a position as captain on a Aquila 54 and I am soaking up all your videos. Found the same two problems you had on your boat concerning uninsulated pipes in the crew quarters and under the pilot house console. I plan on fixing those asap! Just really like all the beneficial information I have learned about these particular vessels from your experience. I hope someday to see you in a harbor on your 54, I will be sure to buy you a cocktail for all you have taught me!

Sometimes, watching the nonstop beauty of mother nature, it's easy to forget about her other side. Glad you guys were safe and it's beautiful to see the new skills of the deckhands taking shape. And oh yes, the joy of boys being boys. Fantastic adventures and thank you so much for allowing us to be a part.

You do an excellent job in instructing guests how the basic line handing is all about.
Here's a guest story for you. During a side tie ( carpet liners) as we call guests .There job was to throw the bow anchor out. BUT it was not attached to the boat . HAA.... It wasn't mine!!!!! Enjoy your journeys. Hope to have a Gar with you some day.

No sharks in the BVI. Bahamas is a different story!

What is the normal protocol with the help you received from the locals in the harbour, with the attention to making your boat safe, ie tipping etc etc ???.

Didn't notice until this video, very nice "cat" dink? Like it? Posted before, but we had it even more to ourselves in August, wonder why? 😂 We had a 46' power cat, and it was a lot rougher than what you had but the cat handled it fine, however I had no idea the charter company turns the engines down (limits speed/rpm), so instead of outrunning our weather issue, we basically had to slog through it at 12-14 knots. 🤨
