Hi Joe, I’m sorry for your loss buddy😢 I know and understand where your coming from I lost a brother to suicide last year and I have another brother who has a drug and alcohol problem and it’s so hard to watch them go through it………please know that your not alone…..my thoughts and prayers for you and our family. Stay strong and hope that all the good memories you have of him help you through this tough time. Hugs to you all…… 💞
Love from the United States!!!! I'm so sorry that my favorite Canadians have suffered such tragedy. Not all Americans are assholes! Hahaha! We love you both down south! NEVER GIVE UP! Everyone on this platform loves both of you...and your surviving family...you guys can do it! Keep pushin'!
I'm so sorry for your loss Joe. I know you've asked others to reach out to people if they need help. Which is such a good point to hit home. But don't forget to reach out yourself if you're struggling man. Here for you if you need a talk or if you need a change of scenery you're welcome in the UK anytime.
Try not to beat yourself up, Joe. He knew you were there for him. We can't be responsible for anyone else's life in that way. It's hard. Big hugs ❤️ 🫂 And you're right, you couldn't save him for whatever reason, but you might save someone else by talking about it.
Hey man, there's no words we can say that will take you or your family's hurt away, but if you take anything from these comments, just know that you have reached millions of people around the world, and as much as we can't physically be there, we're in this space we all share together. Do what you need to do to help your family, we'll be here no matter what. Take it easy man. RIP Issac.
Joe, thank you for sharing such a deeply sad personal loss in your life. 😥🙏 We who have followed you for a good while......will understand how you need time to deal with what has happened. It is a difficult road to walk. You have family around you for the support of each other.........which you all need. 💝 As you process the situation, there will be all kinds of emotions to get through....never easy. I pray you will see positive things that you hadn't known before, and that you all will find a true peace about it, in time. We never forget our loved ones, they will be with us always in memories. 💕 Your brother was covered in prayer, especially by your mother. Those prayers are not empty....God takes them seriously and He, most of all, was aware of your brother's struggles. Bless you and all your family. Prayers going up. 💝🙏🙏🙏
Been watching you since 2016. Whenever I was going through something or had trouble sleeping, I would play your videos and listen to the rain or to you talking and doze off in just a couple of minutes. I'm really sorry for your loss. You're a great guy and helped a lot of people. Me being one of them. Praying for you.
I am an alcoholic and I put my family through a lot of worry and pain for many years. I am sober today by the grace of God. In my sobriety, I have realized the impact my choices have had on many people other than myself. I understand and am sorry for your loss, brother. Love and respect from Kansas.
Hey Joe, I watched my brother die at age 21 from cancer, it literally destroyed me, I'm 52 now and I've spent most of that time trying to heal. Your brother is at peace now and not suffering anymore. Be gentle with yourself Joe.Sending love and prayers from the UK. X
Cancer is a mf. Killed all my dead family members. Also studied blues legends from the 30s and 40s and most died of cancer in one form or another even then. With all our advances, cancer is still out greatest threat. RIP to your brother.
I’ve never watched a single one of your videos before and somehow this came up in my feed. I lost a child and listening to this sat with me and I want you to know that a loss this close will hurt and stay with you for a long time. But all we can do is push forward and carry on there memory. Best of luck to you brother! You seem like a great guy! My condolences and prayers.
His videos are very much worthwhile to watch..check them out..personally, I like the earlier videos best, but that's just me..the hardcore survival/long wilderness campout trip stuff. But I understand a person cannot physically do that stuff all the time and it takes it's toll on one's health and time away from family. The later short campout and fort stuff is good, too.. :)
One of my greatest fears as an older brother is losing one of my younger brothers. I'm so sorry Joe, I can't imagine the pain your family is going through.
❤ I had that same fear constantly.. unfortunately my youngest took his own life. No warnings signs- just starting uni for engineering. We were a year a apart in age now 3 years. The absolute strangest feeling in the entire. World to be missing a piece of you. Wanted to say this because our entire family had absolute no clue what he was going through; though we are well socialized with each other.
@@FamousStories. I'm so sorry that happened, my heart goes out to you and your family. I know that the loss and pain you felt will never truly go away but I know you will do well to honor his memory and life. Thank you for sharing, may he rest in peace
It truly is the greatest fear... losing another sibling. Lost my younger brother to the Ocean. Swept off of a reef during a storm. A week searching with the help of the coast guard and still never recovered him. Joe, we’re right there with you man. Thank you for having the courage to make this. All of my prayers to you and yours.
I lost my oldest brother September 2,2016 from a motorcycle accident. He was hooked on substances too.... you never quit hurting over the passing of a loved one. 🙏🏻 for you and your family 🙏🏻
Aw Joe. Don't blame yourself for that which you can't control. You had to live your life and no matter how much intervention you could have done, people ultimately make their own decisions. This is NOT your fault. You are a great brother, son, husband, father and friend. We love you, Joe. 😢💔
You don't need to apologise brother, those who follow and care about you understand and have your back. Take the time you need to grieve, be with your family and loved ones in this time of grieving and loss. We will all be here waiting when you are ready. Best wishes from an Aussie bushman (Queensland Australia) Love you brother. (Ps, any time you're in my part of the world you're more than welcome around my campfire)
I just lost my older brother. Had a blood clot, woke up one day feeling fine and just fell over dead. I feel your pain man, just try to be there for your family that's all we can do
@@SKRWildfire 200k or 1,55 million, why us that important right now? Here's a man who's just lost his brother, and you're correcting someone on how many really are following him on TH-cam. Why?
Take your time, man. We'll be here when you're ready. You didn't promise to go through this so don't worry about your upload schedule, you aren't breaking any promises to us. May your brother rest in peace and your family find peace in knowing his suffering has come to an end.
You give so much joy to so many people, brother. You’re a tough man both physically and mentally. Carry on and live your life to the fullest. Sorry for your loss.
Reading through the comments, I can say that regardless of whatever promise you made us, we understand the absence and want nothing but the best for you and you're family. Take the time you need to grieve, work on healing for yourself and your family. We'll all still be here to support you when you can return to content creation. My deepest and sincerest condolences.
Joe, I've followed you and your adventures since the very beginning. You were just some random suggested video once upon a time. Now I feel like I know you. Thank you for the transparency, and I'm deeply sorry for your loss. Know that all of us internet strangers will be out here thinking about you and your family.
Sorry for your loss. You haven't failed anyone. Infact you save thousands. You brighten the days of many. Your video's are extremely powerful to the core. I wish you and your family the best during these hard times. We your audience are here for you.
I pray for you and your family at this time. Your message is so true. Love family and friends while you have them. Your love can save lives and change some o E's world. God be with you and hold you.
Joe, you've got over 1 million people wrapping their arms around you and your family with love and support during this terrible time. Just remember, those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day.
I’m really sorry Joe, you have helped me through so much so hopefully myself and all of the people you have helped can help you as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family ❤️
As someone who has lost two younger brothers recently, I can tell you that the hurt will fade some. It won't be soon, but we are all here for you, and more than willing to listen to what you need to vent.
As someone who has struggled with my mental health, and related to your brother on a lot of levels. It made me start bawling when you described his struggles so respectfully. Not judging him on trying to quiet the voices in unhealthy manners, and stating how on the outside he might be messy and not always hygienic, but yet you would trust your family with him, it speaks volumes. I was always afraid if one day I went suddenly my family would condemn me for the state I left in and not remember my struggles. - Absolutely amazing that you didn't judge him for the things that happened, just wished they could have been different. Im not trying to relate, or steer attention. I just wanted to state how much that stood out to me, and meant to me, that you treated him with understanding and care NO MATTER his circumstances. And I know as a brother that means the world to have someone in your corner when you're struggling. Thank you so much for the respectful words about him, and Im so sorry for your loss.
Your description of mental illness combined with using was spot on. No friends, messy living quarters, social anxiety. I deal with it daily and I continue to struggle every,Single Day. Praying for you Joe.
Having been there too, I hope you can get outdoors with some fresh air/sunshine; go for a drive; or be among others - even if it a grocery store or mall. Isolation is the worst, and it is too easy to medicate yourself with sleep, medicines or other. Hopefully you can find an interest/hobby that is greater than the stressor. Find someone to talk to who really cares.
Sorry for your loss Joe. I respect the fact that you aren't afraid to do these hard, real life videos. Life is not always sunshine and roses, but you manage to always keep it real. I appreciate you, sir.
As someone who has had a lot of death in my immediate family, I can sympathize with your grief. Sending you and your family tons of love! I'm so very sorry for your loss, Joe.
Joe, I grieve with you brother. Ontario Paramedic 12 years running, I see and deal with a lot of tragedy every time I put on the uniform. I watch your channel as a form of therapy and it’s impacted my life. My condolences.
Joe, we could all tell this was incredibly difficult for you. You are not an idiot, don’t beat yourself up over this. It is very challenging to know exactly what you could’ve and couldn’t have done to support him. Sorry for the loss of your baby brother. Sincere condolences to your family.
Hey, thanks for being so vulnerable and sharing this. It’s incredibly brave. I’m so sorry for your loss. All I want to say, is that it’s not your fault Joe. I know we all have regrets in retrospect. Things we would’ve done differently. But you didn’t know and you didn’t have that benefit of hindsight. Please don’t take this out on yourself. Sending lots of love ❤
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my father very recently to addiction and I know the regrets you're speaking about all too well. So as bittersweet as it is, you are not alone. Take days, weeks, months, years for yourself and heal. Someone once said that grief is just love with no place to go, but it does have a place; pour it into yourself and especially your family and friends. Life can be just too short. Take care of yourself Joe.
Hey Joe, I just wanted to thank you for everything you have done for the outdoor community and say sorry for your loss. You were my first inspiration to get into the Outdoors, and it has lead to a lifelong calling for me. You are truly a role model for me, and watching you since my youth has always brought me joy and a feeling of belonging, more than anything else on the internet. And seeing all of your struggles, how hard life can be has helped me realize life is what we make of it, and all we can do is enjoy where we are and make the best of it. I wish you the best and hope you are doing well. Lots of love
Joe, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have lost people very close to me and I know how absolutely devastating the pain is. You are very courageous to have posted this open and honest video. I know it means very little to you right now, but I think I speak for all of us viewers when I say we are here for you. God bless you my friend.
^^James is right. You don't quite realize how your following and/or viewership feels because we are not in front of you in person. If we took the time to respond, it's because we've all felt something. No one here took the time to type a response without thinking of losses we experienced ourselves. Some here actually dropped tears typing a reply to you.
Sorry for your loss, man. Nothing we can say to make it better, but see all of the support and please know that you're not alone. I hope it can be a small comfort to you.
From one who has lost 3 brothers, I fully understand your pain and your thoughts of survivor's guilt. The pain does not go away, but time can lessen the pain. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family.
Sorry for your loss brother I feel for you. I have lost a lot of people in my life. My wife passed away then two years later my son passed away. I grieved for them for a long time. What helped me is what you do out in nature. Your little brother is looking down on you, and proud of you. A therapist may help you through this. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
I cant imagine how hard this video must have been to make. I'm so sorry for your loss Joe. A lot of us have been with you for many years, take as much time as you need to get through this. Sending love.
Joe, I’m so sorry to hear what’s happened and thank you for sharing such a tough but important message for all. Please don’t blame yourself. RIP Isaac ❤
So incredibly sorry for your loss, Joe! Over these years, we've watched your videos religiously. We all can tell you're such a good man with a good heart. Don't be too hard on yourself. We love you, and we're here for you!
I’m terribly sorry for you and your family’s loss Joe. This video WILL help Countless people. I feel you loss and your genuine emotions. Stay strong brother!
Joe- speaking as a father here. My oldest boy lost his leg in Afghanistan to an IED. The following 8 years that followed he lost his identity, his sanity, in the end he took his own life. It was like watching a horrible movie. No matter what I did, it made no difference. It took me some time, I profoundly relate with your loss, and the only comfort I can give you is this- the time we are given with the ones we love are sacred. Remember all of the laughs, the little things, the stupid moments. They are the most precious, the most human. All of us are put here for a reason. Take the lessons learned from your time with your brother and pay it forward. Make the world a better place in his memory. That is our sacred responsibility to the ones who continue on. Otherwise, it counts for nothing. God bless you, and thank you for being there with a post of your trip through Algonquin during one of the darkest moments of my life, when in the middle of my sorrow I was able to escape with you in the late hours of the night, and maintain some semblance of sanity when things seemed so dark. We are all brothers in arms, even though we may not realize it. We get through these moments together. And we are here for you, just like you’ve been here for us. Stay the course..
My dear Joe. This hit me hard, really hard. I write this with tears in my eyes. Suffering myself from what you can call inner demons, feeling loved by the people around me but stuck in life so to speak, nothing gives me joy anymore. Joe, you have always been a great source of inspiration for me and your youtube channel have made me love being out in the wild and seeking discomfort. The times I actually go out now, I love it. However, it is so difficult for me to get hold of life and actually get out. I'm kind of stuck in front of the computer and the alcohol, even though I know it doesn't make me happy. This video has really made me reflect on how my own misfortune has made the people around me feel. I love my family and never want to see them suffer the way you are suffering now Joe. Unfortunately, it is too late to help your brother Joe. But you have helped me Joe, more than you can ever imagine.
Sorry for your loss.. Take whatever time you need, we'll all be here waiting for you once you're ready. Do whatever you need to take care of yourself and your family.
Please remember it wasn't your fault we have all lost loved ones it's hard but live your life for him I'm sure that's what he would have wanted I have watched you for a long time and enjoy it so much that I have been tent camping with my oldest son I am 70 years old now and still enjoy camping I have a big huge tent and I love it keep your head up and don't blame yourself things happen in life that we have no control over live your life to the fullest we're never promised tomorrow heal your mind and body and I want to see you again camping and canoeing I'm still doing it at my age my kids think it's great I even had a triple by pass 3 years ago and diabetes but I still go camping I have always loved it take care and God will soften your pain give it time from lowa GMA b
I am so sorry for your loss man, losing someone you care about especially when you dont expect it hurts so bad. As someone who has battled depression my whole life, its hard to express to people who dont know what its like to understand what happens and what we feel on the inside. The things you do and take to try and make the pain go away. Please dont beat yourself up to much I know you blame yourself but honestly some times you can literally do everything and its still not enough. I lost my dad several years ago unexpectedly and I didnt eat for a couple weeks after that because I just couldnt believe it. Im not trying to take away from your pain but just giving insight that I know you blame yourself and figure what could I have done more or where did I miss this or that. I fully understand why you didnt want to give money because you didnt want to support his habit, its not your fault. My family will keep yours in our prayers and all I can do is say take your time, I know we dont know each other from the next person but just take your time and process.
I lost my little brother to suicide 3 years ago. Thank you for this. Hope this doesn't come out wrong but it was actually helpful to cry again. Love you Joe and I am so sorry for your loss
Very sorry to hear about your brother, Joe. My brother is in recovery celebrating 4 years. We, as a family, were all afraid of what may happen to my brother. We had a lot of support, friends and family. It's healthy to share. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. May Issac rest in peace.
Oh man, our language is too impoverished to adequately express my sympathy for your loss. I doubt it feels the same on your end of the screen, but many of us would happily call you our brother. We have spent countless hours sharing experiences with you, and in that, we have felt as though we have become a small part of your life, shared through that experience. So, while I know our sense of loss is nowhere near yours, we do share the sense of loss with you. You are not alone in sharing that sensation and there are hundreds of thousands of people behind me who will repeat the above. We love you man, and I am sorry that you are feeling the emotional torture of such a loss. We all get caught up in the metronome of day to day life and forget to cherish the special little moments we have with the people we love. We interrogate ourselves for what we feel we did wrong or didn't do. Joe, listen brother, DO NOT torture yourself over this. It is clear that you loved your brother and I have absolutely zero doubt that Isaac knew you loved him and loved you back...sadly it seems that his demons would not allow him to focus on the love at that time, but know that it was there and that he felt it and knew it...sometimes people just find themselves in a place they simply can not escape from...and it is nobodies fault, it is just a terrible aspect of life that takes good people from us. I wish I had better words that could ease your pain, but what a terrible thing to want for someone who has earned the right to feel that loss when a loved one dies...and so I will simply say that I hope you find solace in the memories of love more than you find sadness in the loss and I hope that day comes soon for you. Love you man, thank you for your contributions to my knowledge and for sharing part of your life with us. Isaac is at peace now, and whatever your current religious beliefs are, we can all take some comfort in knowing that he is not suffering his demons anymore. Take car Joe, use us for support any time you feel you need it, we are here for you man, always.
Joe. You and other TH-camrs helped me a lot when my older brother passed away 2 years ago. He had just turned 30. I know the feeling brother. My deepest condolences to you and your family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers along with all the other subscribers. Stay strong. Thank you for what you do.
I'm so sorry for your loss Joe. Your brother's passing was NOT your fault. Not wanting to contribute to his downfall via giving him money is a rational consideration when you're put in that spot. We don't know each other. We've never met. I only know you through the wonderful content you've given us and for that we ALL love and appreciate you brother. You've helped more people get through their life's downs then you could possibly imagine. Stay strong and hold your family close. We love you.
im sorry for your lost Joe. I really appreciate you making this video. I have a little brother that is struggling with substances and ive quit trying to help him but now seeing this video your right i need to keep trying and try more to help him. Thank you
Rest In Peace to your little brother, I hope you are doing well Joe keep on doing your thing the content you upload is amazing and you’re a great guy. I know what it’s like to go through pain and suffering but just remember life works in waves and in order to reach the highs you have to hit those lows. ❤
Joe I cant say how sorry I am to hear this, especially considering I lost my brother under pretty much the same circumstances. My brother took his life at 26 due to drugs and mental illness, that was 7 years ago as of June 2nd. Your video brought back all the feelings I felt at the time and since. I know we are just two strangers on the internet, but I have watched and enjoyed your videos for a few years now. When my brother died it rekindled my love of the outdoors, your videos played a big part in that as well. Stay strong, one of the things that I realized since my own tragedy is how it seems almost everyone can tell you about something similar and terrible that has happened to them. It didn't make me feel much better about what happened to my brother but it make realize how much pain people all around us live with, and it gave me strength to move forward in a positive way. I hope you can take some small amount of comfort to hear that you aren't alone and that as much pain as you must be feeling, so many other people have felt it too. You will be in my thoughts for a while brother.
Deepest condolences, Joe. Loss of a family member is something we all go through at one point or another. It hits us hard no matter the circumstances. There's nothing in life that prepares us for it and there's nothing other than time that can ease the pain. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
man i've been a fan for a while but i've fallen off from watching youtube for a little bit (just didn't have much time) and coming back to see this is rough, wish you the best, nothing anyone can say here can really help, but hope you take the time you need
Take your time Joe, you've been with us all these years, revealing all about yourself and sharing your knowledge great and small. You take care and so sorry for your loss, we love you ❤
I lost my sister to an overdose. Like you said, it was my greatest fear. I had the same feelings about not wanting to give her money or do anything to support her addiction. Joe, if he really wanted help he could have gotten it. You’re not an addiction counselor. Don’t bash yourself. You made the best decision you could make with the information you had. Give yourself some grace. ❤️
Hey Rebecca....I love what you just said. You are very impressive. That message will go a long way not just with Joe, but with others who see it. We should rally with you and get you more views so your message can reach people!
You’ve got a good heart, Joe. There’s a sensitivity to you, and I know we’re all drawn to it. So sorry for your pain. Wil is an empath, love her and your close one’s deeply. You have a big heart and you’re a good man. I appreciate you just how you are. Namaste brother.
Keep your head up man, your channel inspired me to get into all this bushcraft and survival even edc, it all grew from this channel, least I can do is tell you your such a strong inspiring person, you really set my interest in this stuff please keep your head up man, you deserve so much dude seriously I know you got this
I’m sorry for your loss Joe. I lost my big brother June 5th of this last year, he was about to be 34. There are no words that can make it better. You and your fam in our prayers. Keep your head up and take it a day at a time. ❤️🩹
You are not alone, Joe! My brother passed away in 2020 in a similar way. It’s a roller coaster. Nothing easy about it. You will get through this with your loved ones and your TH-cam community! ❤
This really woke me up, not for a loved one but for myself. Im sorry your brother went through that and now what your family is going through. Thanks for uploading this.
Your a legend bro. I lost my older brother last year to an overdose, I know how you feel mate. You’ve helped me for years, I had to create this account to give my condolences. Love you bro.
Hey Joe, I used to watch a ton, but over the years I’ve started being off technology and being more in tune with nature because of you - and I just got the notification and watched this video, and my heart is broken for you. I love you, stay strong brother. ❤
I too have had my go round with substance abuse, it slowed me down in life and was a waste of time. I don't punish myself for it but will never go back
My entire immediate family is deceased and my older and younger brother both ended their time. I grew up surrounded by addicts and mentally ill family and I can relate to everything you just said. I totally understand and appreciate your taking time on here to have this important conversation, especially when it’s from your deep heart. Your words are teachings of lessons we all need to hear, whatever our circumstances. God bless you and I’m sure your little brother understands, now, more than ever.
So sorry for your loss, Joe. This must have been such a hard video to make, but we all appreciate you making the effort to make this video and share what is going on in your life.
I am so sorry! Hugs to you and healing. Please stop blaming yourself. As a person who has an addicted child, grown, I can tell you that you did right not giving him money. I am praying for your healing and your family’s healing.
You and ur videos single handedly changed my life. I will forever be grateful for the work you do. Take the time to be okay, and know that u have helped so many people in more ways than imaginable. This is an epidemic that plagues so many people, I don’t know anyone that hasn’t lost a loved one in this way. Ur community loves u and supports you always. Thank u joe. Thank you joe, and we’re all really really proud of you.
Shit joe, the algorithm just served this up and in light of your recent news, it's one hell of a year you're having! Hope you're able to steer your way through; friends and family will be your greatest strength at this time. We're here for you too buddy!
Words don't mean much at a time like this Joe. I've lost both parents over the last 4 years and my life hit rock bottom. With time and by reaching out to people my life is slowly knitting it's way back together....stay strong and reach out to loved ones. Thinking of you my friend. Get out in those woods, remember those good memories and be with your friends.
So sorry for your loss Joe. I lost my father almost two years ago. That pain never goes away. But if you just try and remember the laughs and the smiles it becomes less frequent. Prayers for you and your family.
I’ve lost people close to me, and it really helped to talk to a therapist, to have someone to help guide you on the healing process. Hugs from Minnesota.
I'm so sorry for your loss Joe. Take your time to get through this. We're not going anywhere, so don't worry about TH-cam. We'll be here when you are ready to come back.
This is heartbreaking man. You have great courage to talk about this freely on the internet. I send prayers to you and your family. Times will get better
I know this was the hardest video you’ve ever had to film. I’m so sorry for your loss Joe. Sending love from out west ❤
Thanks Steve for reaching out! We can share better through our shared experiences!
I sub to both of y’all. I remember your video and how my heart ached for you. You’re a good man Steve. God bless you.

We who have followed you for a good while......will understand how you need time to deal with what has happened. It is a difficult road to walk. You have family around you for the support of each other.........which you all need. 💝
As you process the situation, there
will be all kinds of emotions to get through....never easy.
I pray you will see positive things that you hadn't known before, and that you all will find a true peace about it, in time.
We never forget our loved ones, they will be with us always in memories. 💕
Your brother was covered in prayer, especially by your mother.
I hope Joe realises how many people he has helped/saved through his videos. Sending love from the UK , remember to take some time for yourself.
Amen to this.....
Sorry for your loss but you can't what if. You did your best. It's not your fault.
@@DjTanner29 thank you, yes I did do my best at the time, it was out of my hands in every way.
Cancer is a mf. Killed all my dead family members. Also studied blues legends from the 30s and 40s and most died of cancer in one form or another even then.
With all our advances, cancer is still out greatest threat.
RIP to your brother.
So sorry for the loss of your brother May he Rest Peacefully
@@chrissypoo1383 thank you my friend, appreciate that. 🙏
Sorry for your loss too 🙏✝ I still feel the same for my animals 😢 miss them all very much
His videos are very much worthwhile to watch..check them out..personally, I like the earlier videos best, but that's just me..the hardcore survival/long wilderness campout trip stuff. But I understand a person cannot physically do that stuff all the time and it takes it's toll on one's health and time away from family. The later short campout and fort stuff is good, too.. :)
Deepest condolences Joe. The older we get the more we realize how fast life is.
Do not EVER apologize for not making videos especially when you need to step away for times like these. ❤ love all the work you do!
So sorry for your loss I feel your pain from Australia ❤
😔 this is why i live
for my older brother, mom and dad
It truly is the greatest fear... losing another sibling. Lost my younger brother to the Ocean. Swept off of a reef during a storm. A week searching with the help of the coast guard and still never recovered him.
Joe, we’re right there with you man. Thank you for having the courage to make this. All of my prayers to you and yours.
May Isaac’s memory be blessed. Anyone who lives this struggle, you are SPECIAL and the world is BETTER for your being in it. ❤
So sorry for your loss Joe. Can't imagine the pain you're dealing with, but we hope you're doing as well as you can be.
Our hearts go out to you and your family. You honor your brother's memory by speaking plainly and openly about your loss. May he rest at last.
Really sorry to hear about your loss Joe. Take all the time you need, we'll be here for you no matter what.
I lost my oldest brother September 2,2016 from a motorcycle accident. He was hooked on substances too.... you never quit hurting over the passing of a loved one. 🙏🏻 for you and your family 🙏🏻
Take all the time you need Joe. We will pray for you and your brother.
Aw Joe. Don't blame yourself for that which you can't control. You had to live your life and no matter how much intervention you could have done, people ultimately make their own decisions. This is NOT your fault. You are a great brother, son, husband, father and friend. We love you, Joe. 😢💔
"people ultimately make their own decisions.
Yes, and it's gut-wrenchiing hard to watch them make the wrong ones.
You don't need to apologise brother, those who follow and care about you understand and have your back. Take the time you need to grieve, be with your family and loved ones in this time of grieving and loss.
We will all be here waiting when you are ready.
Best wishes from an Aussie bushman (Queensland Australia)
Love you brother.

sending you a virtual hug brother
Damn Randy, i cant imagine what you and your family is going through. May I ask how? Im so sorry bro.
Bless you, remember you’re loved and needed in this world. Your life matters and you have gifts to share. Treat yourself like someone you care about.
@@kaylinklimple2167 thanks for the kind words.

Joe, we could all tell this was incredibly difficult for you. You are not an idiot, don’t beat yourself up over this. It is very challenging to know exactly what you could’ve and couldn’t have done to support him. Sorry for the loss of your baby brother. Sincere condolences to your family.
Take your time to heal bro take all the time you need and get back to us stronger
So sorry for your loss Joe, our hearts go out to you and yours at this time. ❤
You have a community of support here Joe. Sorry for your loss, man. Keep on surviving. You've got it in you.
Sorry for your loss, man. Nothing we can say to make it better, but see all of the support and please know that you're not alone. I hope it can be a small comfort to you.

Sorry for your loss brother I feel for you. I have lost a lot of people in my life. My wife passed away then two years later my son passed away. I grieved for them for a long time.
I am deeply sorry for the loss of your son.
Joe, I don’t know you, but my whole soul goes to you. Keep being you, mate.

Take car Joe, use us for support any time you feel you need it, we are here for you man, always.
well written

I'm so sorry for your loss Joe. Your brother's passing was NOT your fault. Not wanting to contribute to his downfall via giving him money is a rational consideration when you're put in that spot. We don't know each other. We've never met. I only know you through the wonderful content you've given us and for that we ALL love and appreciate you brother.

I lost my sister to an overdose. Like you said, it was my greatest fear. I had the same feelings about not wanting to give her money or do anything to support her addiction.
