- This is part 2 of our first overnight train in India. We are spending 22 hours travelling from Chennai Madras India to Goa in the 17311/Chennai Central - Vasco Da Gama Weekly Express. As 1AC was fully booked we booked 2AC. This train ride must be one of the most beautiful train journeys in India as we travel past the beautiful Dudhsagar Falls, Goa, Karnataka.

@@richardfredrick964 harressment is standard for tourists in India. Expect it to happen. When I refer to harassment I dont mean Sexual harassment, aggressive harassment etc. I mean you will be harassed to take Tuk tuk rides, go and see someone's shop, give money to beggars etc etc. It WILL happen. If you accept that and chill out about it, you will enjoy your time much more. It is the only down side to India for me so its a small price to pay for visiting this beautiful and fascinating country

Also, You got to be much more cautious when sticking out your GoPro / Cam. Some kids or even Burglars resides on track will hit your hand with a Stick, so that you would drop off your Cam & they could just grab it & run away. It's a moving Train & they know very well that, No one gonna get down from the train just to catch them & miss the train & remain Stranded . :D

I have been to India 3 times now. Have taken the train from Mumbai to GOA ( didn’t care for it) so we flew to GOA this last trip (from Kullu Manali). Mumbai is like home so always where I spend most of my time. I Love India! Love watching your videos; brings back fond memories!,

Indian Railways is the most amazing way to see India, it's countryside, people. Glad that you took the train or rather took to training. LOL... Theodora's eating skills by hand is really good must say. Konkan railways is one of the scenic railway journey in India, monsoon is the best time to see the falls "Doodhsagar" amazing work .
Try visiting north east india, It will be a completely different yet amazing experience for you guys

we really appreciate that you are trying to experience our age-old culture by eating with the hands. thank you for that 🙂. it is actually elegant if done properly (usually restaurants also offer water to rinse before/after eating), and the proteases on your fingers actually help digest the food better than just using a spoon. this is "ancient" elegance, so a bit different than the modern version. to each their own, but thank you so much for trying.

I understand your eagerness to film , but train journeys are supposed to be a lot more safer .. particularly when you are being on the door steps, please be careful.. btw, you did not mention anything about the toilets, were they comfortable for you? Please be frank about it..

The water droplets are also there in trains which do not have discharge toilets so it's possible that water comes from condensed droplets on windows due to AC or maybe leaking water tank at the end of coach.

Babe, where's my passport? Indian railways have installed bio- toilets so all the human waste goes into a digester tank for fermentation and generation of bio energy so that i guess was not someone's waste.
It can also be someone's saliva, people do spit while standing next to the door

Here is my Pros n Cons on your Vlog
Pros:
* Both of you couple are just amazing and you people have such a beautiful SMILEY face.
* Your video is just filled with tons of positive vibes. Even the negative things looks positive.
* From the beginning till the end of video i was just smiling smiling smiling........ so much positivity ...
* Video rendering and editing is just mind blowing. Ur Vlog is so colourful and eye soothing.
* Theodora's eating skill is typical Indian style and much much better than some Indians eating skill as she is using her finger tips to pick the food. Definitely i would rate her 10/10....
Cons:
Nil.....as i mentioned above even the negative things looks positive in your Vlog.

And the water droplets you are mentioning about is from sleeper classes... sometimes ppl throw water from their windows...becoz nowadays Indian railways are using GREEN BIO-TOILET FITTED COACHES......so there will be less chance of flushing toilet waters outside...

It is not often that one can get to travel in a trip like this in a different country. It was a great choice!
An experience to hang out to enjoy the breeze and nature, eat lots of different snacks ( India is a heaven for snacks and food!) along with a surrounding of lots of constant activities can be enjoyed only in India. Though a little tiring and sometimes, a little exhausting too, a trip to India would invigorate all 5 senses!! 😁 😁. I. sure this b'day experience would stand out and be long lasting in Graeme's list of cherishing memories.

Standing on the doors/ Opening doors of a moving train is SO DANGEROUS (And illegal. You guys were lucky to not get caught). The video might send wrong signal to other tourists travelling via train in India. You should put a disclaimer!

It is so exciting to get a perspective of our railways from travellers from other countries. I have so many fond memories travelling from Chennai - Goa & Mumbai by train in my childhood. In college I travelled to Goa with friends and had a chill time. I'm just teary eyed now with this beautiful vlog. It's just all nostalgic to me and I am so glad you guys had a good time.
