Jerry is a kick ass comedian. It's awesome that he makes hilarious comments on just about any real life situation. Thanks for uploading the complete stand-up in good quality :)
The line about the flight attendant looking down at the people in Coach as she whips the First-Class curtain closed....that is the funniest thing ever because it's SO TRUE. That quick little look.....yes!!!
I remember when I was a kid we would listen to the cd of this show in the car all the time. At 7:30 I would always think "how the hell has he never heard of a Q?"
The O with a line through it is the letter Ø. We use it in Norway, and the sound of it reminds me of the way an American says "Uuuh", only without the H.
When I was a kid my family was listening to the cd of this on a long car ride and when it got to the 'O with the line through it' bit, I went "It's called a Q, dummy." Every 6 months my mum or dad takes a jab at me about that. "Hey look Sam, It's the O with the line through it!"
So this was recorded in 1998, shortly after the "Seinfeld" series went off the air. The second-to-last episode of "Seinfeld," which was called "The Puerto Rican Day," included a bit in which Kramer accidentally set the Puerto Rican flag on fire and incited an angry mob of Puerto Ricans. It was really a joke about Kramer being clumsy rather than a slight against Puerto Ricans. Nevertheless, a group of angry Puerto Ricans who probably hadn't even seen the episode set up a protest right across the street from the theater where he performed this act. So when you hear "Jerry Seinfeld is a racist" at 7:52, it's probably from a bullhorn used in the protests across the street from the theater. Because of the anger from the Puerto Rican community from that episode when "The Puerto Rican Day" originally aired, this is the one episode of "Seinfeld" that does not air in syndication. They always skip over it, but it's on the DVDs. That episode also includes a bit involving George and a laser pointer, which might have something to do with the laser pointer at 14:40.
Shady Shores Comedy Hardly a secret. It was all over the news at the time. For example: www.ew.com/article/1998/08/21/tv-review-seinfelds-im-telling-you-last-time People said the episode was offensive to African-Americans and gays too, but I don't see how. Cedric and Bob were gay (flaming, really). But that wasn't the issue -- the issue was that they were also thugs for mugging Kramer to steal Elaine's armoire, forcing Kramer to wear a ribbon, and in that episode, leading the angry mob that chased Kramer and destroyed Jerry's car. It just goes to show that gay people can be bastards too. Was the show anti-straight because Newman was a bad guy? I don't think so. There were plenty of positive gay characters on the show. In "The Beard," Elaine posed as a girlfriend for a gay man and then tried unsuccessfully to convert him to heterosexuality. Also, I don't see how you could watch "The Outing" and think Jerry Seinfeld was homophobic. There was also "The Wig Master" episode, which was about as rainbow (or technicolor) as you get, and Elaine went to a lesbian wedding in "The Subway." I especially don't see anything about that episode being offensive to African-Americans. I don't even know what they're talking about. One of the villains in "The Puerto Rican Day" episode was the guy known as "Maroon Golf" based on the car he was driving, and he was black. But so what? Can't minorities occasionally be jerks just like any other segment of the population? They didn't talk about his race at all, he was just another guy stuck in traffic. I could understand how someone would hear about Kramer burning the Puerto Rican flag in "The Puerto Rican Day" and think it would be offensive. But if they actually WATCHED the episode as I did, they would hopefully see that they were making fun of Kramer having a terrible mishap with his cigar, not making fun of the Puerto Ricans. The only comment made about them in that episode was, "They are a very festive people." Hardly an epithet.
I'm an American and the first time I saw this I was living in Norway and that was my first thought. Its not another planet lol. He did a show in Norway that summer actually
9:29 - I like the way sink faucets are built in medical rooms, as pedal operated valves. It has the best features of all faucet types. Doesn't leave the water running, if you forget to turn it off Don't have to use grimy hands to turn it on Can use with both hands free to be washed Has a definite on, and a definite off...unlike timers or sensors.
i know that it just part of the show, but two things i find wrong with jerry seinfeld : one : how do you give a tv show a funeral. and two : how lucky did he get to be to kiss janeane garofalo, DANG IT SEINFELD !
true, but they have O's with lines through them in other languages and scripts too...like russian and greek. i don't think there's too many norwegian cab drivers in New York.
Here's the thing though: I don't remember the last time I've ever taken a cab, same goes for traveling by plane (though I remember scenes in movies). I rarely drive so I've never had an elderly driver move in reverse recklessly... :\
hes not making fun of his appearance, hes just quoting and episode from Seinfeld where they are going to the movies, and that's how Kramer describes Jerry
2:13 CARLIN: "Did you ever see his act?" KLEIN: "No not really man, did you?" CARLIN: "Yeah yeah, he was good... but I was full of drugs." Even in Jerry Seinfeld's comedy special, George Carlin steals the show!
The pilot says, "I'm gonna' take it up to about 10,000". I'm thinking, "Sure. You're a trained professional. The destination on my ticket is correct. As long as you get me there safely, and I'm quite certain that you will, do what ya' gotta do. Take her up to 20. Shoot, if you need to take her up to 30, for whatever reason, take her up to 30. You and your co-pilot just make sure and hold off on "the sauce" until you land "this baby". Capeech? Set this fine piece of transportation on autopilot if ya'want. Take in the nice clouds or whatever it is that "floats your boat". Hopefully, my luggage is there. Just get me there with most of my serenity.
the best observational comic ever
Jerry had/has some good material but what makes him one of the greatest is his sense of timing. It's spot on all the time.
He cracks me up!
You're gold, Jerry. You're gold!.
One of the cleanest and most relatable comedians ever!!
Absolutely love the intro. TOO many legends in one place!
Jerry is a kick ass comedian. It's awesome that he makes hilarious comments on just about any real life situation.

"I'm Telling You for the Last Time" -I love the double meaning of that title
It's good that he doesn't use swear words every 1.7 seconds to make things seem funnier like nearly every other comedian.
It’s not that I can’t have swearing. Some of my favorite comedians swear a lot. But so many use it as a crutch. Bad isn’t funnier with swearing.
swearing has nothing to do with being funny, people used it as an emphasis to emit their emotions out loud.
Funny is funny. Clean or dirty. He's just funny.
Jerry is the BEST!!! ...in the world!
''Some sort of bowling ball candle'' HAHAHAHAHAHA
I remember when I was a kid we would listen to the cd of this show in the car all the time. At 7:30 I would always think "how the hell has he never heard of a Q?"

"Well you know, He's driving fast and recklessly but... He's the professional

Daniel Dougan Damn, you know your shit dougan. I feel like i just got let in on some government-behind the scenes-activity

Daniel Dougan Wow
You really know something.
Are you a writer or something?
Well, if there's away to be offended, snowflakes will find it.
the fact that this was Carlin approved made me watch the whole thing. it was worth it.
3:28 I love the face jerry makes he's made it on seinfeld before xD
*
The opening funeral scene was for the burial of Lady Comedy. It was filmed right after Jerry's "comedy" act was done.
*
Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, and Jim Gaffigan. My favorite guy comedians 😂😂😂
I'm an American and the first time I saw this I was living in Norway and that was my first thought. Its not another planet lol. He did a show in Norway that summer actually
he is professionally funny, it is a written fact, he is paid to be hilarious
Lmao about the vague direction to the exits!!!!! So true!!!
Pretty impressive lineup of fellow comics.
The vague points. I'm getting out before them.. 😂
What a breath of fresh air. Comedy without the filthy profanity.
What a genius! Funniest guy on the planet, love you Seinfeld :)
"Is there any cake?" lol
It's an important part of any joke: the ability to relate. Do you live in New York? Which is where I assume Seinfeld was performing this...
just seen him at the 02 dublin ! awsomness!
Well.. he's the professional! hahahah!
9:29 - I like the way sink faucets are built in medical rooms, as pedal operated valves. It has the best features of all faucet types.
Doesn't leave the water running, if you forget to turn it off
Don't have to use grimy hands to turn it on
Can use with both hands free to be washed
Has a definite on, and a definite off...unlike timers or sensors.
omg all the greats are there
I assure you, Seinfeld's millions won't be hurt if I bash him.
call it drivel call it what you want, its all hilarious to me
Thank you so much for putting an annotation for the start of the video.
Touché... My moment of grammatical ineptitude has foiled my sarcastic douchebaggery.
14:42 Wow! Was that a sniper rifle or George with his laser pen!?
i know that it just part of the show, but two things i find wrong with jerry seinfeld : one : how do you give a tv show a funeral. and two : how lucky did he get to be to kiss janeane garofalo, DANG IT SEINFELD !
true, but they have O's with lines through them in other languages and scripts too...like russian and greek.
i don't think there's too many norwegian cab drivers in New York.
richardhoon77 the people talk about o like that from noway is ridicules and bad in fact
RIP Ed McMahon, George Carlin, Gary Shandling, Alan King
Here's the thing though: I don't remember the last time I've ever taken a cab, same goes for traveling by plane (though I remember scenes in movies). I rarely drive so I've never had an elderly driver move in reverse recklessly... :\
Nice "Bababooey" calls at the beginning of the standup
Did you see the size of that gun? It was bigger than him!
He starts his act at 5:23
that kid in the intro looks like he's related to Jerry
It helps to have a face to put on a cab license. A hair dryer with a scope on it. Jerry you have been on too many Flights!
Oh what I would give to be in the 'good books' of a total stranger replying to my comments on TH-cam.
If you aren't a Jerry fan, then, yea, this isn't funny, but for me, it's hilarious, every day life...Long Island style
did anybody notice the lasear beam thingy on his face at 14:41???
that one idiot that had to point the laser in his face 14:41 lol
2:54 Doorman he had trouble in one episode...actually his best friend in real life
damn howd u notice that. great attention to detail
hes not making fun of his appearance, hes just quoting and episode from Seinfeld where they are going to the movies, and that's how Kramer describes Jerry
Hey to each its own, its cool if you dont like em, just respect others who do.
DOPE FIEND
lazer pointer panda strikes again!!! HAHAHAHAH!!!
Wow, glad I haven't seen these exact same jokes on Seinfeld.
@Gerbilmeister On what grounds do you base your opinion?
1998 ? i thought this was in 1999 to be sure on which it is somebody please tell me when seinfeld left the air so can be sure
it took that frickin long to get to the stand up????????
@Actors317 this video was made in 1998
so far, i haven't seen this show yet, but ALL the jokes in this part, are jokes i have heard him say before.......
Don't be ego, Norway has it too ^^
Your'e not the first to notice. It's an interesting phenomenon. Each set of people must look after its interests. Jewish humour is funny anyways.
2:13 CARLIN: "Did you ever see his act?"
KLEIN: "No not really man, did you?"
CARLIN: "Yeah yeah, he was good... but I was full of drugs."
Even in Jerry Seinfeld's comedy special, George Carlin steals the show!
LordoftheJimmy Yehp. Definitely.
Jerry, the character from the sitcom is funny. Jerry the comic...eh, maybe a few chuckles. Don't know why he gets so much praise as a comedian.
The O with a line through it is the Norwegian letter Ø.. You Englishtalkers say it when you say,fx. "girl" (gørl) and "dirty" (dørti) ;)
14:43
is that a laser on his face?
who is the guy sitting to the left of gary shandling
IM GOING TO USE CAPITALS TOO, JUST TO GET MY POINT ACROSS.
The thumbnail looks exactly like Joel Osteen
3 cab drivers watched this.
Eh, could've tightened that up a little bit.
The pilot says, "I'm gonna' take it up to about 10,000".

Would people really go to pay and heckle him?
WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!!!! lmao
why does it look like there laughing in the beginning?
hence the name of the show....
did someone say "Jerry is a racist" at 7:53
Alan King is to Gary's left, Ed McMahon on his right (our left).
I can't find part 2
if its his special..why does he have to fix the mic??
At 14:43 someone is pointing at Jerry with a laser gun.
ohhh, you lift UP on the buckle?
What year was this?
@mahtexas It's all about the Foreplay.
"yah $14 Tuna salad" yah what's with these airline shops??
Thanks. 'Would have'? Is he dead? Who did it?
I guess differnt people congregate in different areas. Like mining, you never see a jewish miner. Nobody ever saw a yarmulke with a light on it.
wheres the lazer?
Then what is the point of bashing?
I'm sure it's been pointed out before but somebody yelled out "Jerry you're a racist" at 7:54
Swearing is a trait for more agressive comedians...I think I might develop that style it just suits my personality.
seinfeld was fineeeeeee
Jerry would have liked that joke :)
Like Lewis Black?
Ya se de donde sacó Eugenio Derbez la idea del féretro para su show. Cuando acabo Derbez en cuando.
