The show and principal cast were already riding high and running a very well-oiled hit machine. I marvel at guest actors like this. They can inhabit and own any stage they’re placed on. Be it for two minutes’ screen time, or throughout an arc of episodes.
Guest stars like Jackie and Sue Ellen in the same episode, or Jackie and Teri Hatcher.....awesome casting choices.....and two women from Desperate Housewives.
I completely agree! The casting directors on Seinfeld had an amazing ability to hire phenomenal actors that could perfectly capture any character. David Puddy, the Soup Nazi, Russell Dalrymple, Mickey Abbott- all fantastic characters, but Jackie Chiles remains my all-time fav ; )
