    Just purchased a Silverado RST 5.3 dbl cab. Really enjoy driving the truck, the ride is smooth and responsive with lots of power. I find the seats to be comfortable but that's likely a personal preference. The new interior is perfect and has spaceship captions helm feel, all the screens and creature comforts you need.

    Just purchased a Ram 1500 night edition and with that Hemi and the coil link suspension its an unbelievable ride!! Interior is superior and with the new 12" media setup its been my favorite vehicle to date. Coming from a Chevy and Ford family i like both but the Ram has stepped on the playing field in a big way!

      I got a GMC Sierra 1500 AT4, Ford F-150 XLT FX4, but I’m driving my RAM 1500 Big Horn BTS with no regrets.

    I've been a Ram boy all my life, but as I'm getting older, my wants and needs began to change. Ford (in upper trims) have become more comfortable, GM Has more efficiency, and Ram just has the looks. In rough economic times we're in, I'd be selecting the chevy with a Duramax... not caring about acceleration. Hopefully the refresh made their seats more comfy.

    • @bradcorbett90
      @bradcorbett90 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You reference the rough economic times for the reason to go with the duramax but are you forgetting that there’s a diesel shortage included in those economic times that’s driving the cost of diesel through the roof? Lol

      @@bradcorbett90 maybe you need to consider my daily duties and cost effectiveness before your lack of smarts says something idiotic... maybe a little too late there. Yes diesel is expensive... but I still save money. I'm the one laughing now.

      @@necstanunn 😂 calm down Josh. You mention 1 reason for selecting the duramax and it was rough economic times. Maybe get better at writing and provide more details instead of making one pointed arguments that can be easily mistaken.

    If they are like our parents in their 70s, they will have 1 already pre-selected, and not even test drive the other possibilities. One tip is to test drive each at least 3 times over several weeks so the differences stand out more. Maybe rent your top choice for a long trip, or for a truck to pull a heavy trailer.

    • @carbb5760
      @carbb5760 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ya that’s really good advice. I usually take my time to decide when it’s time for a new truck I do think I’d do multiple test drives next time though. Hard to get the feel for a vehicle in a 15-20 minute test drive

    Had a Ford F-150 XLT FX4, then GMC 1500 Sierra 1500 AT4, now RAM 1500 Big Horn BTS with 100% satisfaction and no regrets 🇺🇸 and $46,000 (2022 New)

    ben i know it's a little off topic but still relevant i reckon, i have recently seen a review of the 23 Silverado high country with the duramax diesel and it was not a bad looking truck, having a 4th gen ram 1500 Laramie hemi myself and looking at it from that prospective the new chev had a lot of nice looking stuff and if i was looking at a new truck it would be on the list

  • @robertburns5145

    Based on your review, I would place Ram in 3rd place solely because it has the least features of the three and has the second highest price. As a current Ram Laramie 3500 dually owner it pains me to give credit to Ford and Chevy.

    The Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost V6 Is Better.But The 6.2 Will Beat It Because Those 2 Motors Are Matched That's The Reason The 6.2 Is My Favorite Motor.

  • @bigoldavey
    @bigoldavey ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why didn't you test the 5.0 in the ford instead of the ecobust.... that and it's dark....

    • @BamaTidefan1967
      @BamaTidefan1967 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Ecoboost runs circles around the 5.0 at sea level so there's definitely going to be a much bigger difference at 4500'. Also most people don't modify their trucks they leave them stock to keep their warranty intact so the "put a tuner on it" or "I'll just supercharge it" ain't going to fly in this situation.
