Review: I've used a lot of phones and I've got to say, Oneplus 12 is one of the best phones I have used till date. Otherworldly battery life (easy 2 days with moderate use), amazing display (especially because I was coming from an iphone 13), great cameras, and the best thing is the software is clean, fast and super smooth. This might come as a shocker to some, but it beats the pants off the iphone I came from. For all the hulabaloo about Apple's optimisation and vertical integration and whatnot, the iphone 13 used to become extremely laggy sometimes on hot summer days. The oneplus 12 is not only faster, but also way smoother, and I haven't seen a single lag in almost 4 months of usage. Further, my father uses an iphone 15, so obviously I compared the two and I prefer the oneplus 12 in every category, except the primary camera. But oneplus 12 has a better portrait mode because of the dedicated 3x lens. The price is just the cherry on top. Take this from someone who had been using only iphones since 2013. I was totally married into the ecosystem, with an iphone, airpods pro 2, apple watch, ipad air 4, and the macbook pro 16. I bought the OnePlus 12 after seeing MKBHD's review, and because I was frustrated with the occasional lagginess of the iphone 13. But man oh man, I was in for a surprise. I have gotten rid of every single apple device now except the Mac (which I do think is still the best laptop on the market). And as long as the overall experience remains as great as it is right now, I'm never going back.
do you think the camera is better than the 13? i have the 13 pro and am quite bored of iOS. I want to go back to Android and would like to know how the OP12 stands against the iPhone 13 pro.
@@batmanwithin most probably yes, because what I have gathered from reviews is 13 pro's camera performance is basically similar to that of 13. OP12's camera is undoubtedly better than 13's in every department. in my opinion it is the best Android phone you can buy right now, considering the price and everything. Obviously s24 ultra is better, but it's also 2x pricier.
@@habibraihanchoudhury3309the only downside of op12 for me is 3d curve display so skipped it... waiting for nothing 3....or else I will wait for one plus 13 which gonna be one of the most expensive phone of one plus
please stop calling the bubble pop up notification as dynamic island, these types of notifications have been in phones for a millenia, dynamic island specifically merges with the camera module which oneplus doesnt do
I've been daily driving the OnePlus 12 since March and here are my observations: Pros: Fantastic Battery life and charging Great build quality Fantastic and vibrant display Great set of cameras Out of the world haptics Great speakers Great performance and UI smoothness (better than One UI 6.1 and matches thr smoothness of iOS) Cons: Minor bugs in software No lock screen customisation Bad HDR tuning Gaming performance could have been slightly better Overall the OnePlus 12 is a beast of a phone and I can easily recommend it to anyone
In this review, in 6x portrait at 06:54 you can see portrait looks washed away and it needs to be edited to fill colour and reduce highlights. Do you faced the same ?
@@TheInertBoyz it has a dedicated 3x periscope lens so we cannot expect good portraits at 6x and furthermore it doesn't even support portrait at 6x but I haven't faced this whitewashing issue in 6x personally
Watching this with my OP 12(16/512) My experience is absolutely mind blowing, because the kind of hardware you get in this price range is an absolute bonkers (I'm kind of a guy who is more focused on hardware than software coz software can be updated in a patch but hardware is not!) One other thing the new animation engine is yet to be released, yes some of the OP devices have got an update but they are releasing in batches for OP 12(Mine is yet to be released, hopefully by the end of June). Pros: 1. Battery - I'm the kind of user who wants to get the best software experience and enabled all the best settings in my phone (on-screen display, high refresh rate, and so on..), still I get 6+ hrs of screen on time. 2. Camera - The camera module is a great experience for me since I bought it and after updates it keeps getting better and better. I love it ❤. 3. Performance - It's a beast, there is no lag and the apps will be there where u left. 4. Display - The most impressive part is colour accuracy, it's just simply good. 5. Design - I personally love the design (Flowy Emerald) 6. Haptics - O haptics are simply great it made my experience even more better. 7. Audio - The audio in this phone is loud and crisp. 8. Connectivity - I haven't faced any issues related to the speed and availability of the network in remote areas. Cons: The software needs some improvements and I have noticed that 1 time I had trouble to Restart because while gaming when I was replying for a message it just opened the application and failed to detect my finger print, also the fingerprint pop up failed to open any application and tried to restart. Even for the restart I had to struggle as I enabled fingerprint while restarting. One last thing is sometimes it struggles with Auto brightness too. Hope they fix it in the next patch There is this feature on OP that it'll detect your face and only notifies when it detects only your face, it's not necessary but it's cool.
Got OP 12 a month ago.... Cameras, performance, network connectivity, experience are top notch.... Very satisfied with the phone... Video quality could have been improved a bit... Overall a great device... Yes i agree about weight distribution coz it's 1 month and my hands are still not adjusted with the phone completely mainly using edge screen for the first time... So yes and rest all are great
I own a OP12 512 GB/16 GB variant and its smoth like a butter. Bright screen with big display (I have learnt from my mistakes of Apples that I always need a big screen, obviously bigger screen is a bigger battery too) on which I can do so much stuff. Cameras are good too.. I dont remember having taken more than one shot to cover a bad shot. The phone is not as heavy and weight balance has been done well. Battery is a power house. I never NEVER ran out of the battery in a day. Hands out thats what I needed from a phone. Good camera, Big screen, Processor to do all things fast and looks good..
@@anuragvishwakarma9092 @anuragvishwakarma9092 yes you can.. I have updated every time and the phone has camera and animation improvements you are missing. I haven't got any green line issue and it can occur if your display has got damaged.
Shifted from iPhone 13 to op12 very satisfied...small software bugs rarely popped up but with just phone restarting disappeared . Future..Small size, flat screen and IP 68 ... Will make OP 12/13 No.1 Easily will beat other androids with their killer price
@@batmanwithin It's good unless you are not expecting your phone to be a DSLR 🙂 But I have seen iPhones and Samsung galaxy showing slightly natural skin tones
I've been using the OnePlus 12 for almost three months now, and here's my review: It's a no-nonsense phone. It gets all the basics right and does them well. I primarily use my phone for multimedia consumption and regular day-to-day activities, and it has never compromised on that front. There have been several times when I've used the camera extensively, and honestly, the portrait mode works like magic. I remember scenarios where a DSLR couldn't capture photos properly due to low light, but the phone took better pictures! Cinematic video, master filters, and ProXDR are just icing on the cake! The software experience is very fluid, nice to use, and bug-free. Updates have been rolling in often, and the overall experience since launch has improved. In terms of charging and battery life, no phone can compete with it. My only gripes with this phone are the occasional heating (if you're holding the phone out on a hot sunny day, even if you're not using it) and HDR, which is sometimes a hit or miss (although it has gotten better since the latest update). TLDR: OnePlus 12 is the Jack of all trades but master of some...
@@karetiveeramanikanta2380 nope... Not yet... But I don't know if this is true or not but I heard from somewhere that they changed their display manufacturers (BOE) this time around... Maybe that'll reduce the chances of green line but it's also good that they're offering lifetime warranty for that anyways...
@@dwaipayangangopadhyay6500 Easy... Go for the OnePlus 12 with your eyes closed! It's has a way better camera setup compared to the 12R. Once you start using the 3x telephoto camera for Portraits, you can never go back. And also the SD 8Gen3 ISP is just 🤌
@@dwaipayangangopadhyay6500 Just go for the OnePlus 12. It has a WAY better camera setup. Once you start using the 3x telephoto for portraits, you can never go back! But if camera is your top priority then I guess you should also consider iqoo 12 because Vivo 's algorithm is slightly more appealing for commoners. But one thing for sure, the SD 8Gen3 ISP is just 🤌
I am a OnePlus 12 user since the launch date. 1. I love the software, camera (hardware) but the camera software definitely needs some hardcore update. 2. Receiving late update. The update you are talking about doesn't come in my device. I don't know why.
Not sure how many faced this weird bug. Whenever there is call or PIP mode activated due to some other app while using JIO CINEMA the screen freezes or the JIO CINEMA App resolution doesn't auto fixes it self. Its been 4+ months and the issue still continues. Anyone else faced this issue?
I have been using this OnePlus 12 for 2 months now My first day went in setting up the phone Overall it's a good phone for everyday use But some concerns are that The pre applied screen protector is of very bad quality If you are using the phone without the case there is a high chance it will drop if you are holding it with one hand and I expected at IP 68 but there's IP 65 The biggest let down for me is there is no setting for call background or to change the right lock screen shortcut And funny enough my Gboard has been changing the themes on its own I think it decides what I will use But overall it's a good flagship phone for the price And some facts that surprised me were if you start charging your phone while it's switched off then it will first it will boot up and then start charging I could not find a way of changing the timer ringtone The camera ring that blends into the side is of gloss finish at first it looks good but then you have all the fingerprint marks all over it And there is a stupid 'Click to Continue' message everytime I want to use WhatsApp with the face lock It certainly lacks a hefty amount of customisation features But overall a good phone Will definitely recommend to buy one

I have been using it for the last 100 days and apart from the curved display I don't dislike anything about the phone. Periscope lens is the soul of this phone. Great battery life, superfast charging, more than enough performance. Just wish the display was flat. No other phone comes close in this price range now it's even lower at 60k it's the most complete flagship at a budget flagship price. 9/10 recommended
Bro I've just watched your video and I just need a recommendation on which phone to buy choosing One plus 12 or Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra. Can you please help 🙏 me saying which one is better as per your opinion thanks. I'm from Sri Lanka.
That's because of the ois system in the camera don't worry it's normal but if that's louder than normal there's definitely a issue, ideally speaking that isn't something which we often hear unless shaken violently
The cameras have improved a lot over the time and updates, and I did face a few bugs in the first two months which was annoying as I came from IOS, however after several updates there are no bugs right now and it has been a clean experience
Been using the s22 ultra for more than 2 years now, been quite happy with it except the battery, it heats and drains thanks to 8 gen 1, but when it comes to shear experience of using a flagship, damn does it impess. Cameras are the star of the show and clicks stellar pictures and videos till this day, Recommended (8.5/10) [If you are a medium power user ], not even thinking of upgrading for more 2 to 3 years
My OnePlus is running on May 5 security patch ..it can be seen in a clear way that the OnePlus you're testing is not on it's latest Update version as the update notification can be seen clearly
I am currently using Redmi K20 pro in August it will turn 5 yrs please suggest me some gud phone i had my eyes on Iphone 15+ , Xiaomi 14 or oneplus 12 bus i heard OnePlus devices have that greenline issue so bit concerned
if you want overall consistency, go with the iphone 15 plus, xiaomi is fairly garbage overall on the software side and the oneplus 12 is sort of a middle ground in terms of software and hardware between the two phones
Using OnePlus 12 from last 3 months...what an excellent phone it is ...The camera sometimes shocks us with its capabilities... though that capabilities are not consistent throughout.. As you said battery is mind blowing, and my battery health is 99% now already.. I have played BGMI for 2 hours with highest settings...no issues..the phone handled it like a piece of cake .. So for me it's a Great phono, and yes its not a flagship killer anymore but a flagship.
The only cons I've noticed so far are the lack of a good screen protector on the market (I'm still using the pre applied plastic screen protector lol) and that the fingerprint sensor is mediocre (it's slow, small and unreliable. OnePlus also doesn't allow us to add multiple fingerprints of the same finger for some reason. They should add that in an update, that would fix a lot of the issues. But then again, this is the first time I'm using a phone with an in-display fingerprint scanner so maybe all of them are like this? Idk. Anyway, the face unlock is REALLY fast and reliable and has thus become my preferred way of unlocking - so it kinda negates the fingerprint issue.). Oh and an IP68 rating would've been nice too. Other than that, it's either world class or the very best in every single category. And at a non-ridiculous price (I'm looking at you, 1L+ phones). I got the 16+512 GB version for 63k offline, which I feel is a good deal. Top of the line/the best performance in the world for LITERALLY half/less than half the price of the S24U and the iPhone 15 pro max? Sign me tf up! I can live without the AI features, the the extra 2 years of software updates and the slightly worse cameras. 9/10 for me - as you and your colleague said, it's boringly perfect.
I currently use the OnePlus 12 and I have a big problem that I have seen no one talk about... All the three cameras have lens condition within one minute of using them and it is the reason my photos look grainy The fogging disappears moments after you exit the camera app but reappears as soon as I use the cameras (for all apps which include camera like Snapchat Instagram and Google lens besides the traditional camera app) Otherwise it is a good phone and will surely recommend it
Just to clarify, does the picture fog up or the physical lens causing grainy pics? Quite a weird issue. My device worked well during 2-3 days of extensive camera use.
Oneplus 12 made me switch over from iphone 13 , the screen is everything you need from a flagship or assassin.. the brightness of base iphone is 800nits ...800nits guys... Iphone 15 which has 2000nits is 65k and again..iphone should be bought by morally unconsious ppl or whose parents are builders..cz a lot is nowhere near value for money phones. . And someone with conscience will flicker the decision a lot .having said that..the perfromance is a flash... The battery is something i cried seeing it shine for 2 days 10.21 hours ..mahnn... Android 💋💋 you came through since 2011 samsung galaxy Y i knew you would. Again camera more than awesome. For special moments... And not paparazzi run through on each vacation. So yes boringly perfect ... boringly awesome.. boringly mine...but best buy!!
Why One Plus is never criticised for slow updates? Their latest flagship phone is running April security patch whereas Motorola's 2+ years old budget phones like g52 ,etc got May security patch 2 weeks ago.
I am totally amazed by what you said here 1) the gaming performance can be maximised by switching on high performance and it is excellent 2) No connectivity issue was found or which SIM to use was not seen 3) The weight issue at first you feel it, but with a proper Back cover and after using it for some time you will not feel it. In this price bracket the phone actually works out well i switched to this phone from iphone 15
Sir actually as far I am concern only annoying thing is late software updates and customisation is very less compare to other phones but overall it's boringly perfect...no complaint on performance, camera , stability and list goes on.thank you for genuine feedback
I have been using this mobile from the starting it has been released... Pros- Nice display Battery is osm Speaker is good I didnt observe any heat while using with backcase -got more updates -haptic good Cons- 1.I dont know who ever faced this issue while using TH-cam in landscape..u cant change to potrait without closing the app..u want to close and open it again for portrait view. 2.Some of the apps lags still..example instagram .... 3.i have been upgraded from 6t to 12..but still some the apps lag like 6t 4.Camera is not so good to notify
One plus 12 is an excellent design and collb with haselnand is really good job. I like the camera design how it covered with glass and glitters 🪩 inside. Overall this is good wrt price , gui and less blue light design (eye protection by default)... iPhone and vivo are good for camera but gui not user-friendly in iphone which is very imp and I like one plus for it also camera is up to mark for one plus. Those who are photography experts who capture a lot of locations vivi x100 is best and iphone. One plus covers all aspects so I suggest one plus 12.
I had a OnePlus 8 (my second OP phone) that I had purchased at its release and used continuously through the lockdown, more than any phone i had ever owned (as you can imagine). It was flagging a bit recently and I decided to upgrade. I had made up my mind to buy the Iqoo 12 (cool specs and that red panel is ❤) but One Plus was offering me 24 K discount for upgrading my OP8 to OP12 on their website. With the price drop from 70 K to 65 K for the 512 GB variant added on this month, I got this phone for 40 K, which was a ridiculously low price point for what I was getting. It was 2K lower than what I had paid for the OP8 four years back, and 10 K lower than what I would have spent on the Iqoo 12. Have to hand it to them for knowing how to keep customers loyal!
It's been 30 days now I have been using my 16 GB/ 512 GB variant, and no complaints till now. You never have to worry about the battery with this phone as it has great battery backup and fast charging is like cherry on top. The performance is great for me as I am a casual gamer who plays for 1-2 hours daily and the phone handles it with ease. Cameras are good as well, I don't have to say much about it as I don't use cameras much. Totally recommend it to anyone.
I bought it on very first week of its launch and below are my sincere feed back on it: 1. 220 grams - feels pain while using it continuously. 2. It heats and annoys while carrying in the pocket with mobile data on. 3. Main camera is justified but its front camera is not up to the mark 4. I am missing badly the experience of original Oxygen OS and now it is almost similar to Color OS. 5. Wallpaper should be changeable from lock screen to home screen but feels boring while using it same.
Damn... I get around 10 hrs if i don't play games and use camera... Maybe drain to zero percent and charge the phone to 100 percent a couple of times... U can also select all apps on auto optimise in the battery section. I get around 8 hours of sot on average but you've to charge the phone to 100 percent and beyond 100 untill there is a full charge popup
Hello Bhaiya iQoo 12 vs OnePlus 12 in dono me se konsa lena chahiye meri need hai Bass in SPEAKERS + HAPTIC VIBRATION MOTOR top notch quality honi chahiye budget issue nahi hai reply karna anivarye ha
This is just Oneplus's Legacy. The phone, itself, I'm sure is as waterproof as any other flagship. It's just that Oneplus never certifies it's phones to save the cost of IP Certification. I think budget smartphones should also consider upgrading something else with the money required to do IP Certification!
Please make a video on the best tws earbuds under every budget that is under 3k , 5k , 10k , 15k 20k and 25k. I am especially intrested in the comparison in the 5k and 10k budget. (Earfun free pro 3 vs oppo enco air 3 pro) 5k budget (Nothing ear 2024 vs oppo enco x2) 10k budget (during discounts)
I have been using Oneplus 12 for the past 6 months. Phone is very good in all respects. But it is too heavy and with screen size 6.82 inch size also is a problem. Holding the phone while talking can be a painful experience if the duration of talk is more than 5 to 10 minutes. For this reasons I changed to S23.
There is a bug in using dual app whatsapp which was not working fine like not getting displayed when accessed through app drawer notification or through recents. I have to reach out to app directly and click on it open. Try to verify this if any are facing this issue.
I'm using ONEPLUS FOR A MONTH AND FULLY SATISFIED WITH THIS DEVICE AND NO ISSUES AT ALL EVEN I'M EASY TO USE EDGE SCREEN BECAUSE I HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE USING EDGE SCREEN
I just got my OP12 yesterday and it's looking good. Few cons are I'm feeling it's a very bulky phone and also I'm feeling it's getting warmer always . Is this a usual one or it's a fault in my model along. Can anyone tell me
I have Xiaomi 14 and yes it also feels warm on such hot summer days. Every phone especially flagships, tends to gain heat very easily. If I use my phone without the cover, the frame always feels warm to touch. But there is no performance drop anywhere while using.
@@abhitsinha8813how has your experience been with Xiaomi 14? Looking to buy a phone, but torn between OnePlus 12 and Xiaomi 14. How is the battery life and cameras on Xiaomi 14 for you? Also have you faced camera fogging on your unit?
Hi, It has been I think what now 3 months owning OnePlus 12 and I am always more interested in battery life rather than performance as the same defines my usage. I am finding this device se a good companion somewhat boring but in many ways durable and reliable, mostly reliable. I do have updated to the May'24 patch with certain animation improvements, personally I have always preferred the smoothness of the device which is still maintained since the days of OnePlus One. Rest will vouch for the phone irrespective gaming but visually haven't observed any sluggishness. Hope you will find my review useful.
@abhimajum22 Thanks, I wanna ask a few more questions if you don't mind. What kind of games do you play ( I play codm ) ? Do you think buying a cooler is a good idea? Bc I'm wanna play with 120fps for like 3-5 hours non-stop , and I don't want it to drop to 60fps.
For me, focus distance(phone brightens the subject) , i hope that's the technical term, is a hit or miss, you have readjust so the camera identifies the subject for a better shot. 3x shots are also not very consistent. You can get good shots but after mutiple attempts. Most annoying thing for me that i upgraded from realme gt 2 pro, oxygen OS is way better optimized but looks the same as realme UI . They should add an identity to oxygen OS.atleast give me OnePlus red black theme(something, anything).
Hey bro I'm using the one plus 12 in last 2 months i felt the battery was quite draing fast. I used normally youtube in half an hour I saw 6 to 7 percentage of battery drain so But I took it to showroom theu said there's no issue
As a professional, oneplus is a very safe bet at half the price of other "safe" flagships. Here's how I would describe it: I'm a power user - meetings, calls and mails all day long. Battery life and performance play the key role here. But when I do go out and someone asks for a selfie or a photo, the shots don't come out looking like I need an upgrade. I don't need it to impress as long as it doesn't embarrass, and OP usually impresses. A new game comes out and I wanna play it for a week, OP has got me there as well. Well rounded
I just got my one plus 12, a week back.. Its asking me to update.. What do you think should i update it? Considering there were screen glitches previously on 10 and 11 after the update.
One thing I hate in any smartphone is the big circular camera bump. It's for very few people, not at all universally appealing. It's different for the sake of being different.
Hello 👋 I have question ❓ can we buy One Plus Nord 3 for 5 years use in June 24 now a days?? Looking for good display, camera, and performance..??? Please answer my question
First and foremost consider your budget, do research in that price range. In my opinion considering your budget is between 25k to 30k, better go for other brands. OnePlus smartphone hardware is better in 40k range, it's just my personal opinion.
For many year i had been using many smartphone like xiomi, realme, flagship samsung s series, but oneplus 12 experience is really great ..even oneplus 9 pro was also great phone...but oneplus 12 is totally worth it and allrounder in all aspects whether it be camera, battery, display, performance etc
Could you please provide me with a comparison of the haptic feedback of the OnePlus 12 with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Google Pixel 8 Pro, and Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max? I would greatly appreciate your insights on the differences and similarities between these devices in terms of their haptic capabilities.
Using OnePlus 10 pro whicb my father gifted me as a diwali gift using it from last 1.5 years yes when this phone got os 13 update i was a bit disappointed with the performance but as this phone got os 14 update it got smoother ..... And the things which i was expecting in 13 where delivered in 14.... Now my phone gives me 20 hrs battery backup with 9:30 hours screen on time , apps are optimised well .... I am happy with my phone still go ahead for more 2 years or more on this phone
I really love my Oneplus 12. It's fast, UI is smooth as silk, absolutely no bloatware, works like a beast with all the multitasking I do on it, great display with good visibility outdoors, excellent RAM management, superb battery backup that lasts all day and has never let me down. Camera is decent too, works for my purpose. I own the Galaxy s23 ultra as well but use OP 12 as my primary phone as I absolutely love it! OnePlus is the proof how much other phone brands are ripping you off!
I own oneplus 12... Loving it (the battery, the smoothness, cameras, fast charging ) but missing some features which Samsung is providing.. While purchasing this phone was confused because this doesn't hav any ai features... But when I see some TH-cam videos what Samsung was given with it's 6.1 update.. It's simply amazing.. Waiting for oneplus to give at least some of it.. Like wallpaper dark outs and pop out,, image enhancing and edit, galaxy management is so much better in Samsung
I have used the Samsung S24 Ultra in the past and then switched over to the OP12 a couple of months backs primarily due to the better battery life on the OP. I was actually expecting a big downgrade on the display, the camera and the software as compared to the S24 ultra. But, in my personal opinion, all of these were actually equal to or better than the Samsung. I am a huge fan of the curved display, and actually prefer it more than the flat display of the Samsung. Also, I am actually not liking the toned down natural colors of the Samsung against the Vibrant colors on the OP. After the updates, the Camera HDR of the OP has improved drastically especially if you click photos against the light source in the background - Samsung has a serious problem of flaring which the OP surprisingly does not. Even though the Software of the OP is not as feature packed as that of the Samsung, it seems to be better tuned and smoother than the Samsung. All in all, i absolutely love this phone and compared to the price, it is just as good and maybe even better than some of the other flagship phones in the market right now.
#Trakin I am using OnePlus Nord CE 2 lite 5G since and half year this is my mother phone I wanted to upgrade to OnePlus Nord 4 and beast mobile that will launch soon in India
I am going to switch from one plus 9 pro to 12 now. Got a bonus exchange + device value total of 24060/-. I have used pro for almost 3 years. Will definitely miss it now. My only worries are the night shots in 12.

Hi, my OP12 is running on June 2024 update. Phone is good for most part. Cons: Software is not refined. Ex: Brightness is low when on Auto Brightness, Notification drawer drops down all of a sudden, Screen gets into standby when a reel completes in Instagram.
I recently bought the OP 12 and i noticed it is the best smartphone in terms of heat management. The camera is also surprisingly good. For gaming it is a beast, and can run every game on highest settings. It has smooth and clean os though it lacks customisation, and that is the only negative point. People are saying its camera is bad, vivo x100 is better or it is not for gaming.. c'mon, it has a snapdragon 8 gen 3 🤣 real life performance is different from a throttling test. I play codm on it with the highest settings with 0 issues. and Vivo x100 pro, Xiaomi 14 ultra, s24, etc are much more expensive than this smartphone. and for this price point it has the best camera, don't listen to the people, try yourself..
I have owned the OnePlus 12 for the last 3 months The fantastically complete phone must go for its best camera best battery but I have questions the front camera didn't have 60fps in 1080.
WHATSAPP WALLPAPER BUG: Loving the OP12 experience (my first ever flagship so really almost no scope for complaints) but there's this VERY WEIRD glitch. I use gestures for navigation instead of buttons at the bottom, and this causes the wallpapers in WHATSAPP to slightly change size when the Gboard collapses and makes the chat full-screen. When the Gboard pops up, the wallpaper shifts slightly upwards along with the bottom portion of the chat (not in the same proportion, but enough for me to notice), and over time that glitch irritated the hell out of me (to the point that I set solid black wallpaper for all my chats). Let me know if it's just me or others have faced this too!
Review:
I've used a lot of phones and I've got to say, Oneplus 12 is one of the best phones I have used till date.

I've been daily driving the OnePlus 12 since March and here are my observations:
Pros:
Fantastic Battery life and charging
Great build quality
Fantastic and vibrant display
Great set of cameras
Out of the world haptics
Great speakers
Great performance and UI smoothness (better than One UI 6.1 and matches thr smoothness of iOS)
Cons:
Minor bugs in software
No lock screen customisation
Bad HDR tuning
Gaming performance could have been slightly better
Overall the OnePlus 12 is a beast of a phone and I can easily recommend it to anyone
Hey bro I want to talk about OnePlus 12 , I have few things to ask ,, will you give m insta id/ telegram anything
In this review, in 6x portrait at 06:54 you can see portrait looks washed away and it needs to be edited to fill colour and reduce highlights. Do you faced the same ?
no esim
What bugs did you face in software?
@@TheInertBoyz it has a dedicated 3x periscope lens so we cannot expect good portraits at 6x and furthermore it doesn't even support portrait at 6x but I haven't faced this whitewashing issue in 6x personally
Watching this with my OP 12(16/512)
My experience is absolutely mind blowing, because the kind of hardware you get in this price range is an absolute bonkers (I'm kind of a guy who is more focused on hardware than software coz software can be updated in a patch but hardware is not!)
One other thing the new animation engine is yet to be released, yes some of the OP devices have got an update but they are releasing in batches for OP 12(Mine is yet to be released, hopefully by the end of June).
Pros:
5. Design - I personally love the design (Flowy Emerald)
6. Haptics - O haptics are simply great it made my experience even more better.
7. Audio - The audio in this phone is loud and crisp.
8. Connectivity - I haven't faced any issues related to the speed and availability of the network in remote areas.
Cons:
The software needs some improvements and I have noticed that 1 time I had trouble to Restart because while gaming when I was replying for a message it just opened the application and failed to detect my finger print, also the fingerprint pop up failed to open any application and tried to restart. Even for the restart I had to struggle as I enabled fingerprint while restarting.
One last thing is sometimes it struggles with Auto brightness too. Hope they fix it in the next patch
There is this feature on OP that it'll detect your face and only notifies when it detects only your face, it's not necessary but it's cool.
Exactly bro...I also face issues with the autobrightness and fingerprint recognition sometimes... Otherwise the phone works flawlessly.
Yes. Auto Brightness to be tweaked. Brightness is low to my liking. I manually increase brightness
@@jasowantbarik23 are you still facing the same issue after the latest June update??

It's good unless you are not expecting your phone to be a DSLR 🙂
But I have seen iPhones and Samsung galaxy showing slightly natural skin tones
I've been using the OnePlus 12 for almost three months now, and here's my review:
It's a no-nonsense phone.

Whenever there is call or PIP mode activated due to some other app while using JIO CINEMA the screen freezes or the JIO CINEMA App resolution doesn't auto fixes it self.
Its been 4+ months and the issue still continues.
Anyone else faced this issue?
Optimisation problem on Jio cinema I guess. It can't scale itself , similar to Swiggy.
I have been using this OnePlus 12 for 2 months now
My first day went in setting up the phone
Overall it's a good phone for everyday use
But some concerns are that
The pre applied screen protector is of very bad quality
If you are using the phone without the case there is a high chance it will drop if you are holding it with one hand and I expected at IP 68 but there's IP 65
The biggest let down for me is there is no setting for call background or to change the right lock screen shortcut
And funny enough my Gboard has been changing the themes on its own
I think it decides what I will use
But overall it's a good flagship phone for the price
And some facts that surprised me were if you start charging your phone while it's switched off then it will first it will boot up and then start charging
I could not find a way of changing the timer ringtone
The camera ring that blends into the side is of gloss finish at first it looks good but then you have all the fingerprint marks all over it
And there is a stupid 'Click to Continue' message everytime I want to use WhatsApp with the face lock
It certainly lacks a hefty amount of customisation features
But overall a good phone
Will definitely recommend to buy one

That's because of the ois system in the camera don't worry it's normal but if that's louder than normal there's definitely a issue, ideally speaking that isn't something which we often hear unless shaken violently
Hope this helps but if the noise is there even in normal use then there's definitely a problem in your unit

if you want overall consistency, go with the iphone 15 plus, xiaomi is fairly garbage overall on the software side and the oneplus 12 is sort of a middle ground in terms of software and hardware between the two phones
Same experience, using last 6 months, still battery health is 98%
Please do a detailed comparison video of OnePlus 12 vs Vivo X100 pro
Make an iqoo 12 120days review as well
Yeah that would be fun...
I currently use the OnePlus 12 and I have a big problem that I have seen no one talk about...
All the three cameras have lens condition within one minute of using them and it is the reason my photos look grainy
The fogging disappears moments after you exit the camera app but reappears as soon as I use the cameras (for all apps which include camera like Snapchat Instagram and Google lens besides the traditional camera app)
Otherwise it is a good phone and will surely recommend it
This is an acknowledged issue. Contact oneplus and get your phone replaced.
Iphone 15 which has 2000nits is 65k and again..iphone should be bought by morally unconsious ppl or whose parents are builders..cz a lot is nowhere near value for money phones. .

1. 220 grams - feels pain while using it continuously.
2. It heats and annoys while carrying in the pocket with mobile data on.
3. Main camera is justified but its front camera is not up to the mark
4. I am missing badly the experience of original Oxygen OS and now it is almost similar to Color OS.
5. Wallpaper should be changeable from lock screen to home screen but feels boring while using it same.

Hi,
It has been I think what now 3 months owning OnePlus 12 and I am always more interested in battery life rather than performance as the same defines my usage.
How's the gaming experience going so far?
Gaming is good, I am a moderate gamer, I think the device heats up and temperature is felt in my hands.
Rest gaming is by far good.

As a professional, oneplus is a very safe bet at half the price of other "safe" flagships. Here's how I would describe it:
I'm a power user - meetings, calls and mails all day long.
OnePlus 12 is boring but not iPhone and pixel's

I just got my one plus 12, a week back.. Its asking me to update.. What do you think should i update it? Considering there were screen glitches previously on 10 and 11 after the update.
My oneplus is running on may security patch
One thing I hate in any smartphone is the big circular camera bump. It's for very few people, not at all universally appealing. It's different for the sake of being different.
Cameras require the extra depth for the lenses which explains why every good camera phone has some depth around the cameras.
Exactly ! Only reason i didn't buy oneplus 12. Circular camera module. Makes it look very gimmicky. Otherwise i absolutely love oneplus.
Plz make Xiaomi 14 review
They won't do it since Xiaomi is not sponsoring like OnePlus....
Any Green line issue???
I bought white colour 59000rs
compared to iphone 14 plus, which one would be better considering im using iphone for the past 6 years now. Currently on iphone 12 willing to change.
Should we use camera lens protector on my samsung s24 ultra
Of course
I am using 1+12.i have observed many times I have to touch with my finger tips twice ,while deleting photos
Hey Ershad loving your videos could you make a long term review of the nothing phone 2 and the xiaomi 12 pro could you compare them it would be awesome if u do that
Cheers :)
I don't want Ablosulte best gamming performance 😅😅😅😅😂
I have owned the OnePlus 12 for the last 3 months The fantastically complete phone must go for its best camera best battery but I have questions the front camera didn't have 60fps in 1080.
WHATSAPP WALLPAPER BUG:
Loving the OP12 experience (my first ever flagship so really almost no scope for complaints) but there's this VERY WEIRD glitch.
I only have 33 apps on my phone. People really use 200 apps??😮
Yes... Using more than 200.... 5 th year of 7T...still going great
