A good example is car X street, where the S24U in maxed out settings varies between 35 and 45FPS, while my Motorola is getting 56 to 73FPS. I asked around in a Edge 50pro group if they could try car x street on their phones and well, they got 32-41FPS so almost S24Ultra stats on a 7gen3. And even here you could see, the OnePlus got 6° hotter while it's better CPU should have been at lower usage.

I read on reddit, that Oneplus actually has all the seals, bells and whistles to be a waterproof phone. And it is. It was tested, you can find the test on youtube. They didnt get the ip68 rating to save costs.
Some oneplus users have reported a foggy camera module because of how low quality the seal used is, also the battery health of the phone is degrading every update not to mention the difference between 1.5K and 2K is not visible to naked eyes on such a small screen.
The only problem with Moto is the software update and proper bug fixing cycle. They are too slow and sometimes they don't even provide updates and if one is buying such an expensive device one would expect a good software support.

I have been a old moto phone user since 2007 and have seen moto phones coming with their various flairs but had to switch to Samsung after it fell away. The latest edge 50 has really improved in the Camera tuning + battery life + screen quality + overall software experience. I had to use G cam to get the best out of a moto phone earlier but now 8t seems they have really pulled up their socks. Much cleaner experiences and the Moto Connect feature has some sick features ❤. Battery management also is quite good. I am using the galaxy S24 Ultra but I would say moto edge 50 has comparable battery life management with a phone priced more then double it's cost. I thought of waiting for the edge 50 ultra thinking I will save atleast 60k on getting this instead of the 24 U but ones thing bothers me a lot and that's the CURVED DISPLAY on a phone that becomes a headache later on and edge 50 phones have HEAVILY CURVED DISPLAYS. For me that's a deal breaker and ofcourse s24U is a whole new beast also having best ec9 system with my samsung tab. But this phone really gave me the dilemma of should I wait for this or get the 24U. Very good Rrfreshed experience by Moto. I absolutely love the Feather like weight on Edge 50 compared to my HEAVY S24U. I feel that feature alone is enough to make a user happy. Also the included Charging brick is such a good step bringing back basic Justice for the user ❤❤❤. My S24U didn't even give me a included Fast Charging Cable while able to charge at 45w!!!!!! Erashad always seems biased when using Moto phones recently. Maybe I am the only one thinking so 🤔. As you can see, OnePlus has Multi-Screen Connect, which is also used by Oppo and Realme. It's very seamless; you can mirror, copy & paste, and do much more, but you can't make your phone work like DeX. However, OnePlus has all those features that you only mentioned with Moto. The next update from OnePlus will provide AI features. So, if you are spending 50k, you shouldn't spend it on an 8S Gen 3 phone. Instead, get the iQOO 12 for the same price, or if you want a better brand, go for OnePlus. Motorola is just overpriced for the mid-flagship processor and has a bad update policy.
A bigger battery with 8 gen 3 I would have straight away gone with 50 ultra. Don't care about updates since anyway oneplus 11 started getting greenline with oneplus 11 after updates
Don't get fool guys. Battery and performance is far more important in day to day life than a camera. Years ago I did the mistake choosing camera of performance and battery but I actually never used the camera to it's full potential. On the other hand battery was so terrible thet after a year or so phone become mostly unusable without thinking of battery drain.
Compare it with Edge 50 Pro as well. I want to make professional movies and high quality videos from the mobile. Which is better: Edge 50 Pro or Edge 50 Ultra. I don't want to buy mobiles from Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi.
Buy s23.... It will b around 45k... Gem of a device with best video recording... U can go with any iphones from 13...they r great when it comes to videography.... Others brands don't even comes near when it comes to capturing videos...😊 Hope it helps....

Only if moto's pricing was 5k lesser or 5k more with 8 gen 3; this would have been the one and only true no compromise flagship smartphone under 50000 or around it. And IQOO 12 despite being probably the best value for money smartphone under 50k is not a no compromise phone from any angle with not so premium design/build, not the flagship software(without ai features) experience, no wireless charging and no IP68 rating either.

But this time it seems to be a biased comparison where you have missed some points like Edge 50 ultra misses an LTPO panel which is a must at this price point, even the battery life for a long term use will degrade soon, and so on. My suggestion is to improve software updates giving on timely then the Motorola will become top 5 in the mobile industry

Anyways regarding the phones , My friend bought a moto edge 50 pro and I must say I am I pressed with the new software experience in moto. I have been a old moto phone user since 2007 and have seen moto phones coming with their various flairs but had to switch to Samsung after it fell away. The latest edge 50 has really improved in the Camera tuning + battery life + screen quality + overall software experience.
I had to use G cam to get the best out of a moto phone earlier but now 8t seems they have really pulled up their socks. Much cleaner experiences and the Moto Connect feature has some sick features ❤.
Battery management also is quite good. I am using the galaxy S24 Ultra but I would say moto edge 50 has comparable battery life management with a phone priced more then double it's cost.
I thought of waiting for the edge 50 ultra thinking I will save atleast 60k on getting this instead of the 24 U but ones thing bothers me a lot and that's the CURVED DISPLAY on a phone that becomes a headache later on and edge 50 phones have HEAVILY CURVED DISPLAYS. For me that's a deal breaker and ofcourse s24U is a whole new beast also having best ec9 system with my samsung tab. But this phone really gave me the dilemma of should I wait for this or get the 24U.
Very good Rrfreshed experience by Moto. I absolutely love the Feather like weight on Edge 50 compared to my HEAVY S24U. I feel that feature alone is enough to make a user happy. Also the included Charging brick is such a good step bringing back basic Justice for the user ❤❤❤. My S24U didn't even give me a included Fast Charging Cable while able to charge at 45w!!!!!! How stupid is that ??!

Erashad always seems biased when using Moto phones recently. Maybe I am the only one thinking so 🤔. As you can see, OnePlus has Multi-Screen Connect, which is also used by Oppo and Realme. It's very seamless; you can mirror, copy & paste, and do much more, but you can't make your phone work like DeX. However, OnePlus has all those features that you only mentioned with Moto. The next update from OnePlus will provide AI features. So, if you are spending 50k, you shouldn't spend it on an 8S Gen 3 phone. Instead, get the iQOO 12 for the same price, or if you want a better brand, go for OnePlus. Motorola is just overpriced for the mid-flagship processor and has a bad update policy.

Don't get fool guys. Battery and performance is far more important in day to day life than a camera.
Years ago I did the mistake choosing camera of performance and battery but I actually never used the camera to it's full potential. On the other hand battery was so terrible thet after a year or so phone become mostly unusable without thinking of battery drain.

Only if moto's pricing was 5k lesser or 5k more with 8 gen 3; this would have been the one and only true no compromise flagship smartphone under 50000 or around it. And IQOO 12 despite being probably the best value for money smartphone under 50k is not a no compromise phone from any angle with not so premium design/build, not the flagship software(without ai features) experience, no wireless charging and no IP68 rating either.

But this time it seems to be a biased comparison where you have missed some points like Edge 50 ultra misses an LTPO panel which is a must at this price point, even the battery life for a long term use will degrade soon, and so on.
