  • This lovely Mazda MX5 NC ZSport undergoes a paint correction detail, including engine bay clean and interior valet.
For the ceramic coating we are using Labocosmetica STC+HPC , which offers a great balance of performance and up to 6 years of durability with correct maintenance.
Let me know if you have any questions about any part of the process or feedback on the video and I will be happy to answer.
as always we film and edit these ourselves and are detailers first not video crew! But we try our best :D

never heard of energo but I've been checking out you detailing guys overseas lately and your detailing is top notch

Many people have not heard of Energo, or the Labocosmetica product range - Unfortunately it is a wonderful product but the marketing could be a little better to consumers/enthusiasts.
It does work really well for these things of things, the Chemical Guys Water stain remover performs similarly, but I prefer the consistency and ease of rinsing with the Labocosmetica product!
Thank you for your kind words. :) Hope you liked the video!

Awesome video…. love how you explained everything in detail and went over the entire process. Favorite color is Soul red crystal metallic!

Hey Alex. Thanks for watching and really appreciate your comment!
The Soul Red is an amazing colour indeed.
I had a quick Google as I wondered if they made that colour in the NC...and turns out they had a 25th Anniversary edition! I bet they are rare. I've never seen one.

@@OnTrackDetailing my ND is soul red, not sure If the NC gen ever featured that color. That purple though is amazing

@alexanderptashnik I've seen a couple of ND ones. Seems a popular colour in the UK, it's either Red or white!

Apparently they made a NC 25th Edition in Soul Red... but I've never seen one! 🤔

did you use compound at all? looks great, i need to find a 3in and 1in pad

    • @OnTrackDetailing
      @OnTrackDetailing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hi, yes you cannot remove defects like this without using a heavier compound. A light polish would do nothing, same for pads.
my advice is buy a few pads and a few polishes to have the combinations you need.
Lots of pads around in 3 and 1 inch, Rupes, scholl etc. 👍🏼👍🏼

It’s Radiant Ebony Mica, best in bright sunshine.

Weren’t you worried about getting the wrong stuff wet under the hood? I’ve always avoided spraying directly on engine.

      No sir 👍🏼
Modern engines are generally incredibly water resistant.
We use 0 tds water which is also non conductive. So about as safe as possible.
After washing the engine is started to let it get up to temp to help evaporate any excess and we used compressed air to blow out any remainder.
Its done on a case by case basis - obviously an older car with carbs, dizzy caps and HT leads, and exposed intakes etc need more care. :)
Thanks for watching and your comment 😀
