Usually I don't like voice over during these kind of videos, but I like the sarcasm and I think it adds to the content with this channel specifically haha
Love watching your videos, you’re the only detailer on TH-cam that actually shows real day to day cars being detailed. This is what us detailers get on a daily basis, not Lambos with a slight bit of dust on them. This is the realistic life of a detailer!
I like how you do videos aimed at some of us that don't want to spend a fortune on products, also the biggest vocabulary iv ever heard with a Scouse accent 😅👍
Just a tip for roofs that bad. Hot/warm water in a watering can to wet the roof. Then soak with a cleaner and leave to work. Then a drill brush with medium head. And a stiff nail brush for the tight parts. Modern roofs are tougher than you think. Then rinse using watering can again so you get rid of the cleaners without frothing it up with jetwash. Saves alot of time
You, status detail, and Larry from AMMO are the only detailers I watch regularly on TH-cam (along with some content from Vermijl). I feel like you’re the only detailers that take on various types of cars and actually put more into the process than following the standard steps of detailing. Most people put out the same type of content and never really adventure into the more abstract aspects of detailing. And almost no one is as creative as you when it comes to product selection and methods. The content is always appreciated, I remember watching the rally videos from the beginning after a friend of mine told me about the street events in Liverpool. Not to mention your word choice, it’s top tier vocabulary!
I love it when you clean really dirty vehicles! Seeing you clean well maintained cars is a bit boring but I do understand why its easier. I just love to see rubbish become sparkly after a competent person gets a hold of it! Like this car! I knew once you started by the end it’d be beautiful and I wasn’t disappointed!
Really great job, Joe, and an absolute pleasure to watch. Once the wheels are refurbed, that car will look as good as new. Very kind of you to help out the old boy, too 👍👍👍
Car Geru I gotta say for myself that you're definitely one of the more enjoyable detailers to watch as your always (in my opinion) true to yourself just enjoying what you do. Thanks for making great content for me to enjoy :)
Amazing transformation. CCG is an all time detailer OG who’s channel I come back to every time. No matter how many other detailing channel I come through. Cheers mate
Great to see an MX-5 on the channel, I try to keep my 2012 Kuro edition as clean as possible but the headlights would benefit from a little cataract treatment.
That, in fairness was manky. I had no hope for the top, but you achieved a fantastic result ! Great to see you're heading towards 400k subscribers. Another great achievement !
Great Job Joe, really like these old mazda's, hope the owner appreciates the work you've put in on this and gets you back to do a full polish and wheel job, but the car looks amazing now, thanks for uploading
Liking the brushed-on roof protection and your brush ‘stippling’ technique with the badges, fabric roof looks ace and the headlight work was perfect given the relatively basic process- that was a good call by you, great work 👍🏻
Love your videos mate and I especially enjoy a good detail on an older gimey car! Just not sure the video needs the stock music though. I quite like just the sound of the brush or the roaring sound of the pressure washer. Keep the videos coming we love them!
As a mk3 mx5 owner i will use some of your tips to get my soft top looking a bit less green! The jacked up ride height might be where the garage tightened the upper wishbones while in the air ( they need removing to fit new shocks). Mine did the same & we had to drop the car on the ground to tighten them up fully weighted. It might be worth mentioning it in case it doesnt settle quickly.
Best cleaner for canvas soft tops I use all the time on mx5 is the rally and race soft top cleaner amazing cleaner then a coating of fabsil waterproofer .gets that greening off easily and doesn't damage the material .👍 great job on the mx5 .👍😁
Great video. As a retired, slightly OCD, engineer I love cleaning cars and the dirtier the better. Like some have said, it’s too easy to clean a newish garage queen.
My man is back!!!! Thank you for this drop as it brightened my day. I’ve been feeling very sick. Anyway, TW Hybrid Solutions I always endorse and the graphene acrylic tire coating could very well be my favorite of the lot. Spectacular product. Keep dropping these long form videos and I’ll keep watching and liking.
Shock replacement can never lead to an increased arch gap, there is something wrong here. I would suggest the owner take it back to the shop and have them remedy their mistakes
Great job, that colour as you know is quite forgiving on the eye, it's great to get a detail on a car that really needs a bit a love. Keep up the great work
Another great video. Your attention to detail and methodical approach to each job is brilliant. You need to get a video done in a unit and really show off your skills. Keep up the great content. 🤘⭐️🤘
It is really important to keep the waterchannels clean. When you open the top, feel at the back. Maybe before the lits of water from the pressurewasher...just to make sure no water gets in the car
NC2 MX5 owner here; Fabric top requires Milton fluid ( for washing babies milk bottles) to combat the algae and Pink rubbing paste to clean off the baked-on brake dust on your alloys. Thanks for the video, all MX5 videos are gooood.
@@kevinscott6103 My thinking is that Milton is so mild that it kills bugs on babies milk containers but doesn't harm the kid so...must be gentle stuff. Just bought some, not used it yet.
I've had four Mazdas with fabric hoods and I've always used a brush with the Renovo products rather than spraying. To me, a spray is just going to sit on the surface while a brush is really going to work the product right into the grain of the fabric. It's amazing just how much life you can put back into a hood this way.
Great video. Never see you before (never really looked at car detailing videos before). I have a 2019 MX5 and will use the techniques you showed on mine, even though it’s not that bad. Lovely transformation on the car.
I have to say treating with a canvas algeicide and traditional soap flake in warm water and a medium to soft brush I have found this to be the best but you will need to re dye and seal afterwards. I used my great grandmother mother laundry hand wash brush. which I never been able to find a replace
I swear I saw the Volvo driving around somewhere recently in Wales, hard to miss a bright blue thing like that. I need someone to do this to my 90's CRX, it's in a right state
Hugely satisfying seeing the top been rinsed ! Dose the skin on your hands suffer from the chemicals ? I know you wear gloves but hard to keep completely clear.
Compliments from the USA on another job well done. You really brought this one back to a pretty respectable standard considering the condition it started in. I actually really enjoyed this one because, unlike seemingly the vast majority of my friend group that’s into cars, I love the “fat” NC generation Miata’s. 😂 I do think I’d prefer an NB, but I don’t know anybody else that likes the NCs as well that I can recall. Lol
I would worry about cleaning those rims. Owner should refurbish the curb rash wheels. Probably go a little darker color to update wheels. Great job well job. Thank you for great content!

You're a top fella for doing this for the owner! Great content for people to watch too. All the best.
As a fellow professional one of the best and most honest videos ever, Top man get fed up looking at videos of garage queens that are oh so dirty
You made this car beautiful

A car cleaning guru video will put you in zen mode after a hard day's work.
Now I wanna clean my car
Cheers from South Africa
Done a great job especially the roof it looked a right mess the rest of the car looks amazing as well

Wish I lived closer so you could clean my car 😂 a great video as expected mate 👍
Lookes a million times better and as has been said, love that they're real world cars that are used 👍 not sunday toys kept in a heated garage.
Watching you clean actually dirty cars is THE BEST!
Really great job, Joe, and an absolute pleasure to watch. Once the wheels are refurbed, that car will look as good as new. Very kind of you to help out the old boy, too 👍👍👍
LOVE the idea of using a brush to apply fabric protectant on the soft top, I'm going to do that to my S2000 soft top when I take her out!
Make sure to get underneath that tight flap at the back 👀

Great job. Love the choice of words and phrases in the voiceover!
Great to see an MX-5 on the channel, I try to keep my 2012 Kuro edition as clean as possible but the headlights would benefit from a little cataract treatment.
Thank you Joe. And by the way the beading on the hood after rain looks quite beautiful.😊
Great transformation! Love a good "disaster detail".
That, in fairness was manky. I had no hope for the top, but you achieved a fantastic result ! Great to see you're heading towards 400k subscribers. Another great achievement !
Love the video! I don't have a convertible, but I've learned a tremendous amount from watching your channel over the years.,
Great Job Joe, really like these old mazda's, hope the owner appreciates the work you've put in on this and gets you back to do a full polish and wheel job, but the car looks amazing now, thanks for uploading
Was thinking the same. Hope he sees how you’ve turned that beauty around and gets you back and pays for a full on detail and correction 💪
this came at just the right time, i just got the exact same model mx5 and wanted to clean it up myself!
Liking the brushed-on roof protection and your brush ‘stippling’ technique with the badges, fabric roof looks ace and the headlight work was perfect given the relatively basic process- that was a good call by you, great work 👍🏻
Great work mate. Amazing turnaround for just a basic wash! BTW you NEED to do audiobooks.
Great video. The transformation is amazing. Love these really dirty cleans. Also kinda like the sound of the brushes scrubbing away almost asmr
Love your videos mate and I especially enjoy a good detail on an older gimey car! Just not sure the video needs the stock music though. I quite like just the sound of the brush or the roaring sound of the pressure washer. Keep the videos coming we love them!
Most of it was to cover shots that were ruined with bin lorry/petrol grinder noise so wouldn’t have used otherwise.
As a mk3 mx5 owner i will use some of your tips to get my soft top looking a bit less green!

Agreed, the suspension bolts need tightened with the full load of the car on the suspension!
I just bought a Civic Sport Plus in Lunar Silver. It's gorgeous. I would love for this guy to do his magic on it.
This is an amazing transformation, a night and day difference, well done 😊.
Great video Joe! Top work. I really enjoy these transformation videos
You deserve more of a following, your channel and work is very enjoyable to watch. Respect from USA🇺🇸👊🏼

Quite the transformation! It looks great even considering you didn't do a full correction and wheels off detail.
Stage one!
Still the fastest trigger finger in the west!! You go Joe and greetings from Florida
love these videos
Great job, you did an excellent job transforming the MX5 ,and I like the idea of brushing on the fabric conditioner I hope you have a great weekend 👍
Another great video. Your attention to detail and methodical approach to each job is brilliant.
You need to get a video done in a unit and really show off your skills.
Keep up the great content.

Lovely Jubbly. Must admit I've not seen a convertible that bad for a long time, great work the owner must of been well chuffed.
class act, i bet it was satisfying to be rid of all the muck from the soft top
Cleaning up headlights is such a wonderful way to take years off of any car.

Is that the oven cleaner type stuff? If so I’m sure it would cut through the baked on stuff but not sure what it would do to the lacquer underneath.
@@CarCleaningGuru No, I don't think it is used as an oven cleaner.
The Milton product was recommend to me but I worry it will fade the hood???
@@kevinscott6103 My thinking is that Milton is so mild that it kills bugs on babies milk containers but doesn't harm the kid so...must be gentle stuff. Just bought some, not used it yet.

Amazing color that Mx-5 has! Pretty work again, loved it!
Was a bit worried about the longevity of the mx5 soft top, but after seeing this video, I can sleep peacefully
Great video.

Top notch, great work!
I bet this is how he keeps his neighbors from complaining about the sound of a high pressure washer every day hahah
Lovely job there Joe.
Roof looked good when done ,wheels were rank mind you
Brilliant. Really enjoyed that and learnt a lot of tips.
Brilliant job that roof is spot on now 👍👍👍🙁
Great result
Great job there as always fella!
very good clip, hope you share the clip regularly
I swear I saw the Volvo driving around somewhere recently in Wales, hard to miss a bright blue thing like that. I need someone to do this to my 90's CRX, it's in a right state
Lights came up well
Love your videos. You are a top man. Keep up the great work.
Another superb video Joe 😎👌🏻
Nice vid guru
Hugely satisfying seeing the top been rinsed ! Dose the skin on your hands suffer from the chemicals ? I know you wear gloves but hard to keep completely clear.
Make video on how to foam clean undercarriage for car enthusiast guys.
Brilliant video once again 👌
Fantastic job 🤙
Manky Mazda to Magnificent Mazda. God bless
Great Video Joe
Great job Joe ! , keep em coming
Top man Joe 👍 Wash+ is a legend 👌
Have you ever tried using a pice of spunge for applaying fabric guard? Works great.
No but I might give it a go next time if I can find the right kind of sponge.
Love your work!
Amazing job. I would only tackle those exhaust tips
Yes plenty more to be done!
Do you use a hot jet wash? Or cold water. Hot water makes such a huge difference I have found
No never used one I think they tend to be quite bulky but might have changed now.
@Car Cleaning Guru try one mate you won't look back. about 4k for a good one like kranzle
Well done!
Please come do the top on my Boxster, it's gone a bit brown and manky and I can't seem to shift the stains 😥
Great job. Looks much better. Those shocks (and probably coil springs) must be non OE parts. The ride height at the front is oddly high.
This video with this music got me right in the 1990s Neil Buchanan art attack feels.
Beautiful job
Great job!
Wash+ BEST
Good job to you! Also may I know what type the red sports car is in the back ground because it's stunning :)
Honda CRZ, although it’s not really a sports car, it’s a hybrid, I just added some parts to make it look sportier!
@@CarCleaningGuru Haha thanks, it's beautiful
Great job

My first video here was the Royal blue Focus RS mk1. What was your first Ccg video.
As a fellow Wirral MX5 owner, that car was heartbreaking...!
Ever thought of narrating audible books :)
I second that idea!
I followed your previous soft top cleaning video but didn’t have as good a result as you had, any suggestions on what I could do?
I would worry about cleaning those rims. Owner should refurbish the curb rash wheels. Probably go a little darker color to update wheels. Great job well job. Thank you for great content!
Awesome.
