    I’ll admit, I didn’t really care for the new look of the 2023 Ford Super Duty. Specifically the bed sidesteps and the oversized fender badges. Even the grille to some extent. However, it’s started to grow on me. (:

    Super Duty hands down. Not even close. Also the Ford trim level is not apples to apples with the GMC comparison in this video. Power in towing is extremely different. If I buying a 1 ton diesel. I'm looking for towing and hauling. Not driving around town. If that was the case I would buy a half ton gasser.

    The real question is would you pick the Ford Tremor over the GMC? The comparison here isn't apples to apples. The Tremor is a more capable truck than the AT4, so I would go with the Ford Tremor. That GMC does look beautiful though.

    • @handleymacdonald5760
      @handleymacdonald5760 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      there's no off roading done in this video... it's a tremor package on the HD trucks and thus won't add any capability to the truck.. just adds stickers and "tuned shocks" which won't fix the fact it has a solid front axle... I own a 24 3500 Denali and my local ford dealer is trying to convince me buy their f350 platinum but after driving it and being in it while on a test drive, the gmc is just a better place to be and is more then capable towing wise so I have no reason to even think about the ford... just my two cents, don't create opinions without experience

    This is a decent comparison. As everyone has already stated, it's not the best because the trucks are two different trim levels/packages. Also, most people commenting here are commenting looks when these are trucks designed for work. In terms of performance it's clear the ford is a winner. In terms of looks, the GMC is a clear winner.

  • @TramaineleDay5655
    @TramaineleDay5655 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    I have a 2500 Denali ultimate on order. The reason is because of not being able to get a king ranch F250. I don't think the models are not true comparison. AT4 is a higher trim than the Lariat. So the interior loses on the F250. Off road credit they probably equal, but again I believe it would be more comparable if the f250 had the tremor package. But good review overall.

Other than that, I would go with the GMC, I think it has a better ride, better handling, better tracking and I personally like the looks inside and out considerably better, but I think most would say that the Ford has more comfortable seats. I think GMC also beats the Ford on price. In recent years, both have been pretty reliable. For me, I just need to tow 15k while hauling my family around, the GMC is quite good at that, and I don't have to worry about the death wobble.

      @@jeffreygreer8782I’ve seen countless gm vehicles with radio buttons that the paint wore off and couldn’t tell what the button was. Haven’t seen that yet in a ford.

    Looks like the GMC's total length is .8 inches longer than the Ford. But the ford has a longer bed at 6.75ft, were as the GM's bed is 6.62ft.

    GMC/Chevy will drive best empty.......Ford will win hands down with a payload or in towing. So the number 1 (hotshot) truck that comes into my business is Ram followed closely by Ford.......we rarely see GMC or Chevy hotshots and we have multiple trucks come in each week. Again that IFS in the GMC/Chevy is a blessing and a curse depending on use! I loved my 16' Chevy 3500 NEW........by 70K the front showed it's age from pulling and payloads. It also drifted a lot and tracked like crap. My 19 F350 and 22 F450 pull straight under load......but they don't drive as nice as a GMC/Chevy when empty. Only someone whom has abused both for tens of thousands of miles would know! Also hotshot drivers seem crazy about Rams......a lot of them have over 300,000 on them......On the other hand a F350 DRW just pulled in as I am typing this. So we get opinions of people who push these trucks. He is running a 35' Gooseneck. I love the GMC looks........and empty drive......Ford is definitely tough under load.....Ram......I dislike their ownership......

    All of you pick the GMC because you will never Ever purchase one!!. As for people who need a real capable truck and can afford one, , they will pick the FORD as the market shows!!!.

    I prefer the ford. Always have. The Gmail has just gotten ridiculous on how big the grill is. It doesn’t need to be that big. The ford has more power but still cools adequate. Even though ford has a smaller grill. It still looks more like a real truck.

    If the AT4 is the top of the line luxury, you should have compared it with a Limited Super Duty. Not a very good comparison.

    You should have compared the platinum tremor with the at4 to be fair, how ever, ford interior lacks quality to all trucks, better engine and hauling capacity though so depends what u are after

    Did you reviewing the Ford make it worth $15k more than sticker price was? Carfax has the original sticker. They're asking $103499 and make you think you're getting a discount down to $99999. Sticker was $85065

    Ford all the way it has good enough off-road capability and has better stats than the gmc and is way quicker if you option it with a high output power stroke

    there's a reason why oil field and construction workers use Ford or Ram
    Straight axle on a HD is a must

    After reading most of the comments, i can see that people whom chooses gmc seems to be grocery getters. Completely ignored f250’s capabilities and chose gmc 2500 because of stylings. 😂
    I do like the AT4 but I’ll still pick the f250. That decision is yet to finalize, so more comparisons is needed before i make the purchase.

    A better comparison would be with a King Ranch or Platinum trim the Ford was a mid level the GMC was the Luxury trim. This was not apple to apple comparison.

    Looks, I like the interior on the GMC. I just consider it a city running truck. Toughness I'm going with the HO 6.7 and a straight front axle. GMC has always had better looks. I wish Ford didn't copy the stupid bed steps. I'm in a 23 Tremor with the 6.7 HO. The motor is a beast , I love it. The truck itself, ehhh... Liked my 22 better.
