I've got someone in full pursuit of me wanting to buy my 88 (Frankie). It's not the car I originally started with for my channel but it's definitely seen the majority of my videos. I don't know that I can bring myself to let it go. I can feel your pain.

Dang...I just went by that house on 411 recently on the way back from Ohio. I finally figured out which house it was/is. And now this. Is it staying local? As long as it's in good hands. I wanted that car so badly back when I used to see it sitting in front of that little house, from when it was new and for many years. You're still young but I hate to tell you this, you probably will regret selling it just as much as I regret selling my Foxbody LX 5.0 'Stang I bought new for something newer and shinier.
Hate to see that one go but if makes way for the next big thing, it was probably the right thing to do. Also, it's tough to have one sitting in the garage that you really cant drive. Can't wait to see what is next Lance!

If your into Foxbody’s that would be a hard one to part with as most would consider that one of the ultimate ones to have; however, if the rarity keeps you from being able to really enjoy it…

Unless there is a money issue, storage issue, or you can no longer be its custodian for other reasons then it shouldn’t be sold.

Keep it, keep it original. You can always restore it down the road. I've had my 89 Hatch 5.0 for over 15yrs and struggled with selling or keeping, in the end I kept it, they are hard to find and value will continue to rise on these cars. I'd keep it and the story that this car has, keep it bottom line.
At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about your ride - What matters is the enjoyment you get from it. Don’t care how rare it is if it means the world to you to mod the crap out of it then go do it. Case in point I bought a basically bone stock ‘93 cobra black on black 13 years ago and turned it into an absolute beast because that’s what I wanted it to be. Never ever envisioned selling it and could care less what anyone else would have done. Live your own dreams!!!
