Very nice comparison! I'm partial to the MAC exhaust as I've had two complete systems on my '83 Fox since '91. First system had cats as required by TX law but I upgraded in '18 to X pipe and Flow Path mufflers. I love the sound and performance but was surprised to find that MAC closed up shop. I was lucky to get my system before they closed. Keep up the good work!

Flow master by far you can not beat there sound they are the best mufflers man I'm telling you when it comes to extra horse power and sound there's only one and it's Flow Master but nice cars love em
They don't call them blowmasters or flowbastards for no reason. There are mufflers that flow better, sound better, and make more power than those pieces of shit. They sound like a tin can on any car.
Mac sounds good with a car with a good camshaft. Your dads car had Macs on it. Very good video of sounds too Dez. I do like both. Mods help out alot to the sound. I have Mangnaflows on mines now.
I've had Flowmasters on stock Fox bodies years ago, but do like the sound of the MAC a bit more. That's probably because of the cam, headers and X pipe. Seems to apples to oranges.
When I had a 5.0 back then in the early 2000's i went through all the mufflers at that time and the Bassani quiet thunder mufflers were the best sounding imo.
Mac has always been the god of mustang exhaust and was proven/tested to net you around 3 up more than flowmasters. Mac is and always will be the best sounding mustang exhaust to ever exist!

It sounds like most of the sound is under the car. It has tail pipes too. I like the volume of sally with the flos. Its louder than my 44 flos. Great video man

Im torn. I like the deeper sound on flows, but I really like the set-up on the first whip you have, it sounds a lot more "throaty". The only thing I feel that it's just a hair too raspy. But honestly youre gonna get a lot of different opinions depending on the viewer bases on their speaker.
My boy has a Notchback with headers and flowmaster. I will be doing a video on his car the next weekend it's nice.. He made that car beautiful he went all out on handling and the looks of the car.. And it makes great power too.. It sounds great.. Sounding Great and sounding loud are 2 totally different things.. It's all a matter of taste I guess but I would run the tips out the back it's a better look.. But for real I'm big on the Flowmaster because it's not as loud.. @@CarswithDez yea it does soun good I ordered bunch of parts they all came in under drive pulleys doing the smog delete electric fans shorty headers taking the factory H pipe off found another 1 with no cats and doing the whole rear end 373 axles something bout 28 spline to 31 differential lock new drums wasn’t supposed to do all that but heck with it hope I can see a little difference

Yeah your ride would sound killer with flows own it those Flowmaster just sound good just my opinion I'm kind parcels I've had em on all my rides for the longest guess I'm use to hearing that awesome throaty sound they give but over all both rides sound good no doubt 💯 ✌️
