I mean, you just unscrew it and remove it which is good in my opinion that it's designed that way. Remove it and get a lot more front ground clearance. They just have to do it to get the fuel economy numbers for the Government, after you own it you can do whatever you want to it.
@@YeeYee.Livingif it comes off easily it probably also attaches easily just remove it for every day driving keep it in your garage and attach it for road trips. 😂
To anyone wanting one of these now, please be patient and wait 6-8 months or longer until Toyota works out the bugs in the truck. Because a new vehicles always have issues.
A Tacoma without a v6 is not worth looking at! Those twin turbo 4cyl will never last as long as the ancestors did! I wouldn’t want one for free over my 3rd gen. Cheers
Their turbos and hybrid components last indefinitely? That's a bold claim. Because otherwise, it is something else that can malfunction, leading to less reliability. @@adrianc6534
Not really, I reserved a 2024 TRD off road black for 50k MSRP and arrived this month, I passed on it because I didn’t like the interior and other features I wanted. It’s about finding the right dealership . They want 55k for a Tacoma Limited
Boy hope to see y’all driving the new toy I cannot wait for the order bank to open up on the new 24. Hope you test drive the manual transmission. Hope there’s many offers on the manual transmission.
@ragnarok400 that would be great! but I wonder if that is for the off-road editions with 4x4. I don't know why they make off road editions with out 4x4
A guy that said his Toyota connection told him these base MSRP's: SR5 $32,999 TRD Off Road $39,599 Limited $43,999 TRD Pro $49,599 Trailhunter $54,599 Even if that's accurate, you know there's going to be another $2,800-$5,200 of add on's and upgrades tacked on when they hit the lots. Then of coarse you add the taxes and dumbass doc fees...and any extended warranties, services, or the spray on "ceramic" if you let the finance office scam you into anything extra.
Why has it taken so long to get any driving and handling press releases for these trucks? This is the first we are seeing and they were revealed in may.
I THINK Toyota might grab sales from Ford and GM just because they offer an extended cab version. I really wanted to buy a 2024 Colorado but with no extended cab and long bed I won't buy one.
I can't get past that air dam!
I came to the comments to comment on that exact same thing!
It's like a sore thumb sticking out 🤮

Good to hear no one interrupt you or talk over you every time you try to speak this time around.
Is that a dig on Roman lol
@@MyakkaGold941 Sure is!
I just got myself a 2023 Tacoma sr5 v6 my very first one and I am loving my truck
You should have waited the new one looks much better and has the supercharged engine
@@Jaybird913 hell no sick with what’s proven!
@@Doomzday831 everyone that has a 24 says they don’t miss the 3rd gen
@@Jaybird913first, its turbo charged not supercharged. Second, they suck and everyone knows it.
It’s about time the taco gets an update. Also the base trim looks very weird compared to the rest but that’s probably why it’s the base trim.
The extracab definitely looks like it was a design afterthought, but I'm shocked the even are offering it.
To anyone wanting one of these now, please be patient and wait 6-8 months or longer until Toyota works out the bugs in the truck. Because a new vehicles always have issues.
I like that they all come standard with plows. If any midsize pickup can handle plow duty, it’d be the Taco!
That air scoop looks straight out of auto zone
Yes! The first truck in this video confirms they will offer Bronze Oxide on the TRD Off-road
They should have put the TT V6 in the Tacoma and kept the V8 in the Tundra.
Looks like a mini Tundra.
I want a long bed TRD SPORT that would be a rad around town truck.
Thank god it’s Andre 💪🏻🤠

nice to see the sr
Excited to see how they drive
Looks ugly
Probably like crap. Just like every Tacoma for the past 20 years
Hopefully, the engines will hold up with the turbo
They are finally switching them to turbos? Well, there goes the reliability.
@@CigsInABlanketyup, all of them are 2.4L 4cyl turbo
At this rate, they'll be partnering with Lada by the end of the decade. @@W0RLDSSMALLESTVI0LIN

The SR looks great
I saw trd jon lol he looks happy
Like a true fan boy would
Very exciting day for sure.
Thank You. We need in depth looks at all models.
I hope that ECU isn’t locked like the Supra for some much needed modifications.
Turbo 4 cylinder. The longevity of the piston rings will suffer, big time! Ill keep my 2020 off road 6 speed manual. Forever!
I love Truck from Toyota!
Definitely a blue one ❤
Hell yeah! TrdJon you can’t hide from us bro 🫡
Are they coil sprung in the rear?
I wish they would at least make the smaller version of the tacoma again 😢
They are called Toyota pickups. from the 90's
Booyah 👊🏽😁👍🏽🇺🇸
But not sold on the price 😕
Love this new truck it look amazing can’t wait to buy one on day one 🎉
Car manufacturers: that'll be $87,000
Dealers: +$15,000 market adjustment.
$15,000 for adjusted rims and moon panels

Could that air dam get any bigger
It really is awful.
Ricers: *Allow us to introduce ourselves.*
The new Toyota Tacoma and the new Chevy Colorado look a lot alike. They're both nice.
Was that TRD JON in the red Tacoma? Front Passenger
Yup, and Toyota Jeff!
HI!
that air dam will be ripped off as soon as it leaves the dealer
I wish they didn’t have the huge ass air dam
It takes like 5 min to take off

If you're in the United States, there is no order bank. No consumer ordering process available from Toyota at this time. Dealer allocation only.
Any manuals there to test?
Hopefully the trdsport will have one
The white Tacoma SR in the best looking one, steelies forever.
F that
I'll probably trade my 23 OR on the 24 SR
The off road is nice, but I need to see pricing have they said anything yet?
nothing yet on pricing, unfortunately.
Take a guess at whatever you think it might be, and then add $10,000.
According to robmotive inside guy. The off road starts at 39,599.
@@ragnarok400 hopefully so. That means it should be fairly the same price for the TRD OR

When will they be at dealerships
That sr 2 seater looks so nice.
Naw💀
Honesyly my favorite of the bunch was the SR trim
Price going to be announced?
Looks like the new frontier
Manual transmission?
More gargantuan-sized trucks. But, Americans can't get enough of them.
Lol, it’s a midsize truck
How’s the leg room
These look really good. The redesigned tundra looks bad and these Tacomas have stepped up and filled the design gap
Can't wait for the full review
Can they finally reveal some pricing?
11/28 is probably when that’ll be made public.
$54K for a 2WD regular cab SR /s

Have the frames been repaired

Yeah all the trims still have wheels sir.
SR, not SR5
Are they still still?

I like the base truck because a truck needs a useful bed
Looks like the Colorado
finally some movement
Can you answer this for me. The TRD SPORT come with either 5ft bed or 6ft bed
It looks like a Frontier
Not bad, but no V6 might be a bummer in the long run.
Nah I don’t think many will lament the loss of the 2GR in the current Tacoma.
The current 3.5 sucks thank God its gone

Now all they have to do is get them to the dealerships!

Trd sport please
Pro looks sexy, offroad looks nice, not a big fan of the other trims tho, remind me of a GMC not a tacoma
No two door stick shift. Toyota is failing the consumer
My only complaint is that it looks too much like the Tundra. The Tundra and Taco always had their own unique looks, and I liked that.
You lost me with the turbo.. maybe last 30k miles .. garbage. Not the tacomas ppl relied on
The body kinda looks like a Chevy Silverado from the side profile
Need them in Australia
Why is the 28th all of a sudden so far away?

the air dam.
