Your laugh is just like Seth Rogan's, the comedy actor; it's quite endearing. Anyway, the last time I had my hair cut the stylist (who I'd visited a couple of times prior) dried my hair after having done some initial cutting while wet. However, the heat she used was burning hot and I actually asked if she had her Dyson on the maxiumum setting as a hint, but she just replied 'no'. I can only think she was rushing to fit-in as many clients as possible prior to her imminent holiday, but you don't expect that from an experienced hairdresser. I didn't have any treatments that day (e.g. Olaplex) so my medium-length male hair looked a bit frizzy at the ends afterwards, and as a consequence she lost a client before our relationship got going... although that was mainly because the cut was botched/ uneven/ too short/ a bit gappy. What is it with hairdressers who can get it so right for two-or-three cuts but then it all falls off a cliff? It's been the story of my life for the past couple of years quite frankly, and sorry but I'm not prepared to stick with a stylist who can mess things up and make you feel awful before you've even left their premises.

Use the Kenra heat protectant. Yes I do hair lol. They also make a spray also to dry quicker. He’s right spend the money on a quality dryer even if it’s expensive. Don’t dry it right away when it’s wet wet. Let it rest for about 10 minutes.

I’m a curly girl and a blowdryer is must since I’m able to achieve volume for my curls and my curls look defined and much better dry. (I also don’t want to go out looking like a wet dog lol) soo it’s a necessity on my end

I’m not a pro but I do a lot of research on hair since I straighten and diffuse my own hair and here’s what I learned.
Regardless of hair type, if you’re looking to tame frizz, flyaways or get volume a blow dryer and brush is beneficial for all hair types.
People with Type 1A, 1B, 1C and Type 2A-C hair (naturally straight hair to wavy hair) can only use a flat iron if they want to straighten. If they want volume then a blowdryer is a must.
People with curlier hair types, Type 3 and Type 4 hair (curly to coily hair) basically need a blowdryer and brush if they want to achieve straight hair and volume. Sometimes a flat iron is also used to achieve bone straight hair.
Keep in mind that the curlier your hair is, (like type 4 hair) is more prone to breakage since it’s a dryer hair type and tends to shrink. A straight look can still be achieved though with proper handling and I seen just about everyone and their mama always recommend
      -heat protection cremes/sprays
-use a low heat setting on your tools (if possible)
      -deep conditioners/protein masks.
I am not a pro but I cannot stress these three enough. They will definitely save your hair from heat damage.
You also don’t want to blow dry/flat iron your hair no more than once a week since that can also lead to heat damage

Try and blow dry the hair straight. I try to avoid using both the same everyday. Do a straight blow out and it will be straight and also have body.

Are you supposed to use the high heat high speed first (to dry) and then the low speed low heat to style? Not many tutorials for coarse wiry hair. I'd like to see some done on real people. Most of the long hair mannequins end up looking the same with unkempt long shaggy hair. How about some real world results on regular people that aren't hair models. I try using round brush but my hair just slides out. Definitely not enough to grab, most of us dont have that kind of density.

Pat wet hair with cotton t shirt or microfiber towel first.
The higher the heat, the more permanent damage your doing to your hair, same goes with any heat hair products. Anything with high heat causes permanent damage to your hair, so it’s best to avoid high heat as much as possible because your literally frying your hair perminantly, if using blow dryer, purchase a hair protectant hair spray. Use Medium to cool heat and use your fingers to texturize and dry hair.

@@user-xr8to4er5m as salonguy said in the video you dont need to be scared of a blowdryer if you know how to use it. I blowdry my hair every day because there is no other way of styling your hair and if you want to have cool stylish hair you need to blowdry. Just use heat protectant and constantly move the dryer as he does in the video so you dont damage your hair its that simple. And also not everyone just wants to dry their hair, i want to straighten out some waves in the front so i will blowdry close to the hair with the right technique and there is no damage at all

    • @user-xr8to4er5m
      @user-xr8to4er5m ปีที่แล้ว

@@kalaxazoseisaire blow drying causes permanent damage. That’s a scientific fact. With that said, if you choose to blow dry, I recommend:
      - pat drying hair
-wait a few minutes for hair to air dry
      - blow dry only on: medium to low heat.
      Use a heat protectant.
If your using heat products keep it to lowest heat possible. Anything, but high. I still recommend, no blow drying but if your going to use heat products use them at the lowest heat temperature.
      Anyhow, cheers, merry christmas 🎄
