Very impressive. I own a Jeep and would wheel with the FJ all day long. It all depends on how you set them up. Both the Jeep and FJ out of the box are quite capable off-road. With the correct mods you only add to this fine base. Stay safe on the trails

I know for a fact the fj has a better powerplant than the jeep wrangler. from the factory a stock fj will work circle around a stock wrangler off road, and will flat smoke a wrangler like a pack of Cools down the hwy!
Jeep would of sunk. Owned one for 3 years. Took it deep water crossing several times when a hurricane hit. I took out a few friends and family out their flooded homes. Hauled towed Ford's stranded. Took it off roading countless times. Raced many times aswell.... Still ran like new.
It is pure physics! just a matter of density. The volume and weight of the FJ makes its density lighter than water's own, so it can float. By the way, that video shows the high quality of isolation in that car. Nice video! other cars could be do that, but just remember to check rivers or lakes before doing something dangerous!😂
Is there a concern when submerging a hot engine like that? I would be afraid of too much thermal shock on the engine causing cracks in the block or heads but your FJ seemed like it didn’t miss a beat!
I think the water would have to be really cold to crack your block like that. Have did many water crossing since then never had a problem. Still driving the truck still running strong.
I have had it for ten years now and have driven it like that from the beginning and it's still running. I would I can still hop in it and drive it across the country
