Came here for chess, stayed for more success with women
😅
Even more?!
Good luck with that
Me too 😁🤣
@AlexBanzea & company of boys : you do know the audience is also comprised of women who love the chess content? I don't mind the cheeky asides about dating life from Alex, they are relatively amusing and wholesome, *but* I'd love some acknowledgement that it ain't just sausages watching your stuff and enjoying it! XD
I watch your videos because you're a great teacher, but mostly for the hilarious analogies you always come up with
Watching this video my rating increased by 69% and I got a Gf thanks Alex
46:45 "OK boys and grills" 😂 you have a way with words Alex!
By FAR the best chess teacher on TH-cam. Clear explanations, good analogies and always happy to review your choices and learn from them. The fact you repeat openings enough times for us all to see patterns and to help us remember moves is very much appreciated. Don't stop doing what you're doing - and please don't ever evolve into the clickbaiting type some other popular chess commentators have changed in to!
The added boards are a really good addition! Its crazy how much your videos helped me, I was stuck at 512 to 968 in just 1 month thanks to your caro-kan and jobova openings!
I come here for the Jobava and Caro-Kann wisdom but also the humor. "Handing a gun to a bonobo"! 🤣
I Needed this video Alex 😂 Looking forward to the course!
Been waiting all week for this!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks Alex! Once again, fun to watch and good to learn new things. Thanks for the motivation, you make chess even more enjoyable :D
Keep up the good work, Alex, I play your Caro and JLondon and keep raising my rating! Great teaching!!!
For me, the most entertaining chess content YTer! Love your content.
Looking forward to watching this on my birthday!
Hope you're doing well Alex and thank you for the amazing content you create ❤️
Happy bday dude
@@AlexBanzea Thanks Dude, much appreciated!
So glad the gamble came up in game 2. I’ve been in that position and fell behind with my attack because I was worried about those checks. Nice to see how easy it is to get the king back to safety!
Another great video! Appreciate you, bud! You are a great teacher.
Love the Jobava London content. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
So far, i love the jobava and I started it because of one of your videos. i like it because i don't have to memorize 30 different lines for each position placement. I'm great at thinking and analyzing. I am TERRIBLE at memorization.
i even open with d6 as black when white opens with e4, then k-f6 and third bringing out the bishop. sort of an abbreviated-jobava for black with a less extended e-pawn, but i'm sure it has a different name. pretty cool that i have basically the same opening whether i am white or black and i can do basically the same playstyle with both. i feel like it's making me learn the game/system twice as fast as if i only played it as white.
Thanks so much for the video!!! more jobava vids would make me very happy :D
"defending the knight through the bishop.. the so called x-ray concept.... Uhh... That's pretty dope.."
Lmao yea it's dope. Love you Alex jobava forever
28:48 Bb5! and you defend your horsie indirectly
Always here to support, love your videos❤
Cool vid. I totally missed Qh7. Definitely didn’t feel like I was playing a 1600 😂. GG
sorry for that dude! you are a good player, don't feel bad because of this game.
It's ok you stud
Awesome video you rock bro.... keep those videos coming...
Finally another upload, been a while!
I really like it when you show how to deal with non-standard replys. You've lots of videos on d4 d5 games. Videos like this really help for the rest of blacks replys.
Bro just created an accidental asmr video.
I really love the jobava london videos and really need mooooore
When I saw the title I knew it was a Jobava video again 🙌 Excited for the course
Great video as always!
Mr. Banzea, I very much enjoy your commentary. Thank-you for your instruction!
Hi Alex - thanks for the content as always
That game 1 is one of the most astonishing sights I've seen.
You and the analogies 😂 i watch this videos to find out what you come up with. Keep them updated pleaee.
Good stuff !!! Loved game no 5 !!!
Not too shabby! :-) Great stuff, man!
Would love to see a video about the Nimzo-Larsen attack
All the comments about falling asleep had me cracking up. I started watching your (and some other chess teachers) videos to fall asleep too, but damnit now I’m just into chess! I suck, but thanks to these and the Caro Kann videos I’m slowly getting better.
This handsome chess master has such a nice and relaxing teaching style that helps us learn and enjoy chess. ❤ 😊
Thank you.
Amazing video. Thanks for sharing
Elated to see the notification of your videos ❤️
When you say we move on to the following game, but then the video ends
Another Jobava London video! This is SO great!!! Hopefully we can get three more of these just this week!!!!!!! LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I specifically had you in mind while recording all of it!
@@AlexBanzea your appreciation of my hunger for Jobava London content is noted, thank you so much
Hi Alex! Please drop that Jobava course soon!
Lovely content as always. I am just a fan of your jobava games. It is fun to see you playing jobava against higher rated players. I have made a private playlist of your jobava games to remind me of the traps and tricks.❤
God damn, thank you for that first game. Had the exact same position and it worked like a charm.
Thanks for inspiring me to love love love the jobava! Do you recommend a book to drive deep?
Paying attention pays off: I just had a position similar to Game1/3 in your video and used your teaching for checkmate in 15 moves. 😎
1.d4 g6 2.Nc3 Bg7 3.Bf4 d6 4.e4 Nf6 5.e5 Nfd7 6.Bb5 dxe5 7.dxe5 a6 8.Bxd7+ Nxd7 9.Nf3 f6 10.e6 Nc5 11.Qxd8+ Kxd8 12.O-O-O+ Ke8 13.Nd5 Ra7 14.Nxc7+ Kf8 15.Rd8# {1-0}
58:35 instead of the tempting cheapo Qh7, simple g7 does total carnage.
where you streaming at alex? love to watch ya play live! or at least in vods :3
15:08 wtf i have never ever felt so called out before. I use your videos to go to sleep so often. Its just that you have a clam voice. But the next day i often rewatcht he videos to actually learn! Thx for all of your vids btw :)
lol - totally - how did he figure it out? Super good voice. You may not realise but he calls us out AGAIN later (as I was literally falling asleep ahaha)
lol - totally - how did he figure it out? Super good voice. You may not realise but he calls us out AGAIN later (as I was literally falling asleep ahaha)
That being said - Thank you!
Great video! Are you planning to do a Jobava London course at any point? I know you have the standard London one
Alex, 2 weeks+ where are you?I was looking forward to the TT stream. Just Hope you are okay.
As far Im aware of there are coming 2 new Chessable courses, Jobava and Caro-Kann middle game, nice!
I think the jovaba one is going to be in another platform
@@davidel6469do you know which one?
@@davidel6469Really???
@@mortenblouns9706 he said that in one video if I remember it correctly, he said that he is ok with chessable but doesn't want to marry with them
@@davidel6469Ah man! I Really hope it Will be on chessable
your commentary is very entertaining. You're also not a bad chess player!
thanks for this one. very helpful, i play less like a bonobo now.
More like this to help me cement JBLondon into my openings please
I am a Caro player for Black and e4 for white but I still come to watch
The way he said, "It doesn't work BOZO" 💀💀💀
Thank you for the video .
I couldn't follow it for the whole hour , cause my brain doesn't wanna brain after 40 minutes, but definitely learned some tricks
Thank you for the information.
Chess people i like to watch is you, and i like to watch Levy
You make me think a lot about chess in ways like not russing to the end game
Finally some jovaba, is it possible for u to play some slav against d4? Or they always play e4 with white?
19:30 - i can hear a siren - did someone call an ambulance, but not for you😂
I just love your accent, it's so cool xD
i saw another IM fall into this pirc trap in a speed run
I watch your videos multiple times. There's an entertainment value along with the educational value to your content. With that being said, we can move on to the following game...
Pure goodness.
as they say alex, "you can bring a horse to water but you can't make him drink"
With your first game, I have reached the same position as Nd5 in many games at the 900-1100 level. However, almost all my opponents castle rather than play Nxf4 or Na3 allowing for the checkmate.
you can play Be3 there, with a small edge.
I just started binging your Vienna content and looking to switch openings, should I consider the Jobava London instead?
More jobava content, my hero
Thanks for switching to rapid games, you have more time to explain your ideas past move 10. love your videos
he thinks we watch his videos to fall asleep but thats what eric rosen is for lol
please continue playing this opening until the end of the day Alex! And when the day comes, ask if the sickle guy is willing to play "a game that he can't win" with you
Wohooo new vid 🎉
Alex - would you suggest the game 1 trap in a slower timed game? I feel like most rapids black moves the knight and doesn’t take the pawn.
"I still have some compromising screenshots from his ex-girlfriend!" Oh, Alex, how I enjoy your metaphors.
your sound quality is very good and I really appreciate it, I know it's not about chess, but im tired of chess masters having echo-y rooms that make my ears want to stop listening
if you processed audio after the recording with a vocal chain like an equalizer, compressor and de-esser then it would really be perfection (but that's far fetched)
Alex thanks a lot, following your principles, I got a 99% accuracy game (18 moves) even as a measly 600 blitz player. The strength of the pawn storm is underrated!
I actually won a game at the 1990 world open under 1800 section with the Bg5 in the dutch and my opponent got mated after trapping and taking bishop. Watching your opponents get massacred plus learning how to pick up women makes this channel so much fun.
40:40 I have lost many games for this exact reason 🤨
About time yessir😂
Can u make a video about Sicilian defense like najdorf or the timonneph Sicilian
Thanks master! I just got the quickest checkmate of my life after a Dutch game like 47:50 where opponent took my trapped bishop
I just had a game exactly like the first one. Easiest gain of elo ever.
E5 was a "mistake" only if your opponent could capitalize on it.
Babe wake up, Alex Banzea just uploaded.
Game 1 just happened to me in Lichess with white against "Low Elo" 2160
Alex got a twss joke in. Already 100% successful video 😂
My favourite series on TH-cam, never miss an episode and always rewatch them
This might be a low elo question, but can you continue playing the system after an attempt at a Caro Kann defense or something more untraditional?
the problem in jobava is yes you can take the rook but you self trapped the knight and made it useless
Can you give an idea playing Jobaba vs Carokan
Is there a summary available?
Forget the chess we need some cat videos
I would not mind if you would publish only Caro-Kann and Jobava :D
Two weeks without a movie is a bit too much. I know that the course is being worked on but monetization may have to wait a while. Don't forget about us
Good things are happening in the chess lab :D
😂 This is my 3rd most used emoji, thanks for asking😂
jobava is GOAT
What is the best thing to play against the Jobava London as black in ur opinion?
Wow very informative to watch you beat 600 rated players
