I love melanochrysum! Especially those mature leaves that they get when they can climb.
Mmmm yes me too! But sadly I never got it to grow such big leaves for me, it just went downhill after that (':

I don’t have any issue propagating verrucosum. Do it in water, not moss, not perlite or anything else.
I think it comes down to what works best with you and your environment. If you have lower RH, water is probably best since the plant gets steady amount of water. Where at high humidity moss works really well. Their leaves are really thin so very much so prone to water loss. Temperamental at bigger temperature changes, sensitive to drying out... So I don't think there is a straight right or wrong answer. Many people have found that they can be harder to prop. Plant itself can grow really fast given the right conditions, however it leaves less room for mistakes (:

How do you clean the leaves of these? Is it just a normal wipe down like other plants or will that damage the velvety leaves?
Velvets are tricky, especially getting those water stains off.
I use mix of neem and dishsoap (made a vide bout it so you can check it out), however it doesn't remove the stains. People have been using very dilluted vinegar to combat mineral deposids, but I have yet to try it ;-;
