Just when I thought I was getting over my philodendron obsession and moving on to dainty hoyas, this video comes out and wrecks me. Why are they allll so gorgeous?!
Kaylee, I love your videos. I fell to sleep one night while watching one and awoke later, and woke up later and saw your plants and thought I was in heaven.
Hi, Kaylee. I’m so sorry about all the negativity DMS you are getting. Please continue to do what you. Some people are just haters and can’t see someone do well. I would definitely like to see more propagation videos. Thank you.❤️
When you said melanos don’t propagate easily, I felt that. My cutting took forever to grow substantial roots for potting, when it finally did, the first new leaf rotted away before unfurling. It’s finally now putting out a new leaf. It’s been three months since I got it
I enjoy going back and watching these and seeing which plants were favored and then looking for them now to see if they are still doing well and what they are priced.
I agree with you! For me the splendid, the glorious, gloriousum, black billietae, and melanochrysum are the easiest philodendron plants for me! No fuss at all and very hardy and forgiving! ❤️ could not agree more!! ❤️💯

Would love to see a video on your experience with self watering pots and if any aroid is suitable for that or if some plants prefer top to bottom watering. soil vs leca, that kind of stuff.
The plant known as 'Snowdrift' is actually a Philodendron Jungle Fever Variegated. It just happens that this particular cultivar is selected from with the ones with the most variegation. The part where there's no green at all. So the plant tends to adapt by putting green parts itself, hence the green specks.

I bought a Philodendron Gloriosum about 3months ago with one leaf and a little tiny bud popping out on the side. It's acclimated to my home with the new bud growing into a full new leaf. Now I just recently saw a new little bud and got excited that I was going to have 3 leaves and on my way to having a fuller plant. Just my luck, I decided to plant it in a bigger container with better mix and a couple days later the older leaf starts turning yellow! How upsetting that is, I thought this plant was a bit hardier and easy. I think I'm just gonna put it in leca like Kaylee Ellen does w/her plants.
