This came from Take Me Back to Eden which was my favorite album of 2023. It kinda goes all over the place but I think you'd really like Granite, Aqua Regia, Ascensionism and the title track TMBTE...but really the whole damn album is pretty epic.

@@SoulSingerDiscovers at least you are genuine. It's a single band, Zeal & Ardor. I should have specified. They can go from heartfelt southern church soul to black metal so you may need a few tracks to see the breadth. Envy you discovering this.
So cool to watch a reaction from someone who notices subtle nuances and picks up on fun chord changes! Welcome to the rabbithole that is Sleep Token, you're in for a ride, all their songs are great... Chokehold is just *chef's kiss* Worship!
I've also only recently discovered Sleep Token, and was about as blown away as you were, when you shot this video (haven't seen any of your other videos on Sleep Token yet, as I'm writing this). I love discovering new music all the time - but with Sleep Token it was different. But WOW!!!!! I can't exactly put my finger on why it felt different, and more "right". I just love how the musical style of Sleep Token seems to be "Both-and, and neither-nor", because it's so "Everything and all over the place", while still managing not to become "confusing". Does that make any sense at all???? 🤔😂 Anyway......... The entire "Take me back to eden" album is... 🥰 But you probably already know that by now. 😉 But definitely check out some of their older stuff too, like "Alkaline", "The Offering", "Like That", "Hypnosis"..... Well, just f'n EVERYTHING!!!!!! 🤘😉
Welcome down the rabbit hole of sleep Token, they are an incredible and unique band. There music touches almost every genre, and vessel's voice is mesmerizing and soul piercing 🙏❤
This song was my first exposure to ST and the ending funk transition absolutely hooked me. When i listened to every other song I really fell in love hardcore
Never have I ever said "fck me" while listening to a band as much as Sleep token. It's one of many natural reactions we as listeners have. They hit you in ways you never knew could happen.
Amazing reaction. Haha. I've been obsessed since 2019, and channels like this are extremely addictive for many of us who want to experience rediscovery through you. Haha Pick any song of theirs and react to that one. They're all great
Welcome to the party, Melisa! You have only scratched the Sleep Token surface. Your subs are not wrong and I am so envious/excited for you for what you are about to experience. Enjoy the ride. You should post every reaction of every song for us to vicariously enjoy. Also, how can one person be so fucking quotable! 90% of the filth that come out of your mouth should be on a t-shirt! I’m a fan! Subs +1!
OMG this is my first reaction of yours and damn I love you, love your reaction to this masterpiece definitely going to watch more of your vids right now
Hell yes, amazing stuff. This album is going straight into my to-listen list too. I love the variety, going to check out what else they can bring. Funny story: I had a professor for Stereovision Techniques back at uni in 2006. Old dude, must have been approaching 60, awesome teacher. Would always bring these awesome stereovision toys from throughout the ages. So when Tool's 10,000 Days came out, and it had a stereovision thing on the deluxe version, I bought a second copy and gave one to him. He loved it as a toy, and he even liked the music. He's the last other person I can think of that also referred to metal as "metal music". Sadly, I don't think he ever said "f*ck me gently with a chainsaw", though.
He sounds like a lovely man! I love a good teacher story there aren’t enough of them. This band are so amazing I really enjoyed it glad you did to! He missed a trick! It’s a great way to start a conversation 😂💪💜
Love your reactions :) Also if anyone is wondering, the whole song is 4/4 but they are playing/singing over the bar line leaving that "where is one?" feel that's so unnerving. (Easiest 1 to find is "take" from the chorus vocal)
I had to listen to the song twice to digest what I had just listened to. I couldn’t figure it out at first if I was listening to something unique, or something that was just jumbled mess. But, after a second listen, I heard the genius of the song and I fell in love with this band
This band really has been a great find over the last year, I love the creativity they bring and the combination of Vessel's chops with his arresting delivery. Plus Two on the drummers is a tasteful monster that is just as easy to get lost in listening to as the vocals. I'd highly suggest their song Bloodsport, specifically the (From the room below) version to get a striped down focus on Vessel's emotional delivery. So far for me at least, they don't miss anything from their catalogue is solid choice!
I recommend you check Sleep Token Chokehold *but* also Will Ramos (of Lorna Shore) vocal cover of it. The cover might be even better than the original and you hear Will's gorgeous cleans! And see him look straight to your soul.
Cheers lassie.... great video. I love love love you accent..... I am a piper from Denmark and lived in Edinburgh for a while..... I almost can do a wee thing myself..... and you are so lovely. I just found Sleep Token myself and I am just reacting like you. This is so cool and BIG music... .almost like a piobaireachd on drugs..... thanks for sharing
please react to all of their old & new stuff‼️‼️‼️i want to watch some new reactions lmao i keep watching old ones. this band is sooo amazing. vessels voice is crazzyyy. you’ll love everything they have to offer in all of their albums & ep’s
I’ve listened to “Euclid” about 100 times in the last few weeks. I haven’t listened to everything from Sleep Token but that’s my fav right now. I think “The Summoning” is one of their more interesting tracks. Nice reaction ❤
lmao calling out YT at the start had me in tears 🤣Subbed just for that haha awesome reaction though and looks like I have more Sleep Token reactions to go through!
And for something that brings out how well Vessel's voice can relay emotion, check Blood Sport (from the room below). It's just him and a piano and it's both gorgeous and a tear-jerker.
What do I even say about Sleep Token… they’re amazing. Each album, even the EPs, have a different feel to them. The songs on each album vary greatly in genre. Vessel’s voice just fuckin oozes with soul. The R&B callout is spot on. As the kids say, he sings in cursive and I bloody well love it. They’re worth the deep dive!
Hey Melisa! Yeah, probably no other band had a year like these guys did, going from relative obscurity to selling out Wembley in *10 minutes*. My wife and I love them. Oh, you're going to enjoy this rabbit hole. Rock on! 🤘😎👍 Our favorites: - Granite - Alkaline - Hypnosis - Hey Ya (yes, they covered it) - I Wanna Dance with Somebody (they covered that too)
Enjoy your ride with sleep token, they are my favorite band right now. I've followed them since their Sundowning album, all 3 of their albums are really really good.
Hol up!! What sorcery is this?? This was actually my first time listening to these guys.. I have heard the name before but never heard their music, and whoa, what a trip that was, especially having same reactions as you.. hahaha! The metal part of the song while sounding like so many other modern metal bands (Spiritbox or Tesseract come to mind) still sounds amazing, but the most interesting thing is how they combine different genres together. If you want very weirdly combined genres (mind blowing nonetheless) you have to check out a French band called Igorrr, they will seriously blow your mind. Try Opus Brain or Himalaya Massive Ritual. I promise you won't regret it.
Cool Band, killer song. The huge range of vocals and instrumentation are impressive! How dare they try to censor Our Fine Scottish Lady! Here is what I say in U.S.M.C. radio language...Fox Uniform Charlie Kilo Tango Hotel Echo Mike! The president of TH-cam is Richard Cranium, I believe! Keep being honest, hot, and analytical M.K.! We love You! Keep up the great work My Fine Scottish Lady! ❤❤❤
IMO they don't have a bad song. They've got 2 EPs, 3 albums, and a handful of singles and they are all great! I highly recommend "Jaws", "The Offering", "Dark Signs", "Higher", "Vore", and "Granite" but seriously... all of their songs.
I'd argue that metal heads find melody in chaos. Its that classic beauty in disaster. I love hearing beautiful guitar solo's in chaotic death metal. When the music is so heavy, you can do very simple things to bring out "life" or melody into a track.. And the contrast is Chefs Kiss.
This singer, whoever he is...I just LOVE all the little things he does with his voice and his overall style and level of emotion he brings to every song he sings. I love everything I've heard of Sleep Token and hey, watching a hot Scottish ginger lose her mind in the best way over this band the way you did here is more than OK by me.
No that is not regular 😂 Every time you listen to a new track you get a surprise.. but always a good one 🎉 That's the most awesome thing about ST.. you can't put them in one box. Personally I do not like R'n'b, jazz and rap.. but when ST does it -Its Hella good!! ❤ But the one thing all tracks have in common are emotions. They can make me cry SO HARD 🥹 And that is why I love them. Shout out to Will Ramos from Lorna Shore to point me in the right direction. I am now a hard boiled Sleep Token worshiper 🙌❤️ Listen to Atlantic or Euclid. Remember kleenex
I love seeing people hear them for the 1st time.I can't do it for the 1st time ever again, oh how I wish I could again. Go to the beginning, not even if its for reactions. It's a story and its just mind blowing.❤
If you like this eclectic and unpredictable yet melodic style, I must suggest "Let The Truth Speak" by the band Earthside, which uses odd time signatures, soaring melodies and a string accompaniment as well as Dan Tompkins, singer of Tesseract, backed up by Gennady Tkachenko-Papizh who is an opera singer. I recommend the official video for fullest effect. It's about as epic as epic gets. Cheers.
Well Melisa, this is my first Sleep Token song. Obviously I watch other reactors and this has been done by them but it held no interest to me until today. Guess that says something about you and your way of presenting things. 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯
I felt the same when I heard this song. Still gets me. Listen to all of their discovery. Wait, you were going to anyways cus now you’re hooked! Great reaction!
I saw the video title come up in my feed and immediately said "Oh this is going to absolutely be her shit" and was rewarded. Looking forward to more cause Sleep Token is just a little bit incredible.
Now, I really get, why people like Sleep Token. Because they don't listen enough to Periphery, early and latest Spiritbox and Jinjer. OK, that was a bit too hard. I also, for some reason I can not even describe ... OK, most probably it's their fantastic vocals or their really progressive songwriting and some fantastic ideas they have.... like the band Crystal Lake from Japan. But really, most metalcore bands have a very original sound. The sound of Periphery. Yupp. Very creative. Esp. if you know, that Periphery does f*cking everything themselves, songwriting, arranging, recording, mixing, producing, marketing, their own label ... And they all have daytime jobs. So their music never gets corrupted - they don't HAVE TO make money with it. They just do what they fucking want, no matter if people like it or not. It reminds me of the scene in Life of Brian, when he says to all his followers something like "You don't have to follow anybody, you have to think for yourselves, you are all individuals!" and they answer in a choir "We are all individuals!" (except one, who screams "I'm not!". This is how I generally see the metalcore genre. And that's really sad in a way. There ARE talented guys there. But they should do more original things. IMHO, that's maybe the reason, that I know a bit more about deathcore than metalcore. I just got interested in metalcore, when I heard some Periphery, Spiritbox and Crystal Lake. Most metalcore leaves me ... bored. So now, why am I not amazed by Sleep Token? Obviously, the result is really good. Well, it is too many "influences" (cough) in it. For sure, you got, that much of the rhythm stuff is really very, VERY close to Tool. And why we are at it - some stuff in the vocals is also VERY close to what Maynard does. Really, really close in some parts. Well, I like Tool. But you get the point. The sounds in metalcore generally are VERY influenced by Periphery (which are very influenced by Meshuggah, but that's OK, they put very much of their own sauce into it, so they are far from copying.) Sometimes I can not tell two metalcore bands from each other if I hear songs of them right one after the other. And yes - that's hardly creative. There are exceptions in this genre. I mentioned Periphery, Spiritbox (latest stuff, early singles and EP, The Mara Effect live at Silverside Sounds was like a REVELATION to me, of how good metalcore COULD be as a genre) and Crystal Lake. Yupp, there is some really good stuff out there. But they are really exceptions. It's generally not those bands, that all sound like Periphery or Spiritbox or... and use these hard 80s effects (yeah, I mean pop music), Tool stuff, a pinch of jazz, so everybody knows they went to college or have at least some taste and education, autotune (yeah, the HARD effect, that everyone should hate)... I know that Periphery does all that. But the f'ck they kind of defined the standards and pushed the borders all the time until today, so they get away with EVERYTHING for me, literally. Including murder. Okay. Thats a joke. Probably. (Ask your hubby - I guess he likes / loves them very much, Because he has musical taste. LOL) Yepp, for sure not my most beloved genre. And most probably I do injustice, in this case especially to Sleep Token, because they actually did what I wrote, but they did it really well and are definitely in the top league of the genre.... But I think you got the point. And while I am at it, I stress some points again, let's call them "recommendations", but you can also call them parts of my music bible (and I am atheist!), as there are Spiritbox - The Mara Effect live at Silverside Sound Yeah, it's long, it's a conceptual trilogy, but it's worth it every f'cking second, and I only heard ONE person I recommended it to ever said something different than that it's absolutely genius, a metalcore opera, a revelation, life-changing experience etc. etc. etc. And no, that's not a joke or exaggeration. And I recommended this to MANY people. For a while to literally EVERYONE. Hey, they are not "perfect" in this performance. But they do it all right. They showed off right from the start, what they are capable of. And that was really impressive. After I heard it, I was blown away, dropped some tears (really) and was totally sure that they will become really, really great and probably famous if they just have a LITTLE bit of luck. And I am very happy that exactly this happened. Periphery "Blood Eagle" and "Wildfire" (My personal song of the year 2023, and I somehow knew that like two weeks after it came out in early spring - because it is hard to beat by ANYTHING this year in terms of creativity, taste, originality, production and fun.) Yeah. Another novel by me. Sorry. Have a fantastic week and lots of fun with whatever you do and keep up with what you are doing. Still LOVE your videos. All the best regards, my wonderful Scottish dudette! 🤘😎🫀🍻☕
Subbed - your evil dead poster is great! Another modern metal band with a great singer who screams too is Invent Animate - I’d recommend without a whisper or Heavener
Your comment at 9:17 when you said "F*ck me gently with a chainsaw...", my only thought was "Don't worry, hun. It's coming." Then it hit, and you made the SAME FACE we all made lol. I loved it! Check out "Granite", "Chokehold", or "Take Me Back to Eden" on this album as well. But from their past albums, "Dark Signs" is a great one from their Sundowning album, and "Alkaline" or "The Love You Want" (my personal fave) from their This Place Will Become Your Tomb album. That's mostly if you really love the clean vocals/melodic sound. If you're looking for something bit harder from them (vocal wise), "Vore" and "Gods" are good ones.
More Sleep Token? You can choose either Take Me Back to Eden album (their 3rd and where The Summoning is from) or the very beginning which would be The Night Belongs to God from Sundowning. There is no bad choice
Please listen to all of their 3 albums in order. It’s beautiful and magical. Some of my favourite songs: Agua Regia, Atlantic, Fall For Me, Euclid, Give and Levitate
New to your channel and already love it. Since you like melodic stuff (and if you haven't yet), I think symphonic metal might be your speed. Kamelot is great, especially their older stuff like The Human Stain, Farewell, and Karma. EDIT: I see you know Nightwish, lol, still recommend Kamelot!
They change their sound each album a little but they have always had the style like this. Honestly you have a wild journey of music to go through with them. If you want to try some of the RnB style they have try Ascensionism or Take me back to Eden
I cant help but think Messa would be totally up your alley considering you used to title your videos "soul singer" , Sara the lead singer of Messa has a really soulful voice in my opinion , mix that with some classic doomy riffs and a little bit of wackyness and u have a recipe for success. If you wanna check them out live try Hour of the Wolf live at hellfest 2019 , the quality is really good even for a video taken by an audience member, or just try Pilgrim a single from their most recent album.
The thing Sleep Token does is throw people sonic curve balls. I wouldn't call them as wildly eclectic as, say, Frank Zappa, but they do mix their genres freely. I think they are good enough at writing songs that the tracks will remain engaging even after the novelty of their method wears off.
It just gives that little something I’m looking for that I don’t always get from the more aggressive stuff. Thanks for subbing and taking the time Angela 💜😊
My pleasure! Do you like Spiritbox? Have you listened to Jaded? They are nominated for best Metal performance at the Grammy's this year. If they win it will be the first time a female fronted band has ever won the award. @@SoulSingerDiscovers
Melisa, honestly anything on "Take me back to Eden" is excellent and worth listening to. But "Ascensionism" or "Take me Back to Eden" are probably the front runners you should 100% check out next.
If you enjoy this and find it interesting, you should check out the band Fair to Midland. The contrast of vocal highs over melodic metal is a staple of their sound as well. Secret and Whisper and Closure in Moscow do it to an extent as well, but with less "chugging" aesthetic in the melody and more emo/punk leaning vocals. Great reaction!
It’s funny watching people try to draw parallels to Sleep Token. I do my checking when I see posts like this… every time… EVERY SINGLE TIME… the suggested bands sound nothing like Sleep Token. Same applies here. 😂
@@thebourbonaut5691 nah man, that high that Sleep Token hits over the chunky parts sounds incredibly like Fair to Midland. The other two weren't meant to be direct parallels, just along the same lines if people enjoyed them as well. It's nothing negative to Sleep Token.
Welp, now that you found Sleep Token, I really recommend you go and listen to their first album called Sundowning. Not just because it’s all good music but also because the songs on the new album get a little…. Lore sensitive towards the end of it. Regardless listen to the songs in any order you want but all I ask is before you listen, or if you listen to Euclid, go back and listen to all of their early stuff first. It hits so much harder if you do.
They continually remain an exciting band to follow. You just don’t know what you will hear and the way they release music also has you staying up until midnight after thinking you’ve worked out a pattern and then get nothing! Did I say they were frustrating at times?? 😂
"Are they always like this?" Yes. No. No other songs of theirs have this set of genres in this order. But they are always like this in the sense that going in to a new song you have no idea what genres and twists and turns you're gonna get. Awesomesauce!
Sleep Token was the best band I 'discovered' in 2023. You owe it to yourself to listen to Granite, Aqua Regia, and Ascensionism. I wish I had found out about them sooner.
I get tearful watching someone discover Sleep Token for the first time. Jealous too. Because I can’t relive that first listen. Fill your boots kid. There’s nothing you’ll find by these lads that you won’t enjoy. Bring up a playlist, stick a pin in it and go.

This is a satisfying composition for sure. It's the first thing I heard from them too, & it's a great advertisement showing glimpses of all sorts of skills imho. I could do without whatever the marketing hype bullsh!t is around them.... but the music is well worth investigation. :)
p.s. I've no idea why I've missed chunks of your uploads. Yet another YooToob being sh!tty about notifications thing probably.
p.p.s. "fcuk me gently with a chainsaw" is duly added to my exclamation vocab. What a peach. LOL
This crossover music is much appreciated in metal, Zeal and Ardor is a closer fit of two radical genres. More your wheelhouse too.
Oooh, good thought! Melisa will probably really like Zeal and Ardor.
I will check these out 😊 thank you!
Zeal and Ardor are great, I think Vola would fit in as well.
@@SoulSingerDiscovers at least you are genuine. It's a single band, Zeal & Ardor. I should have specified. They can go from heartfelt southern church soul to black metal so you may need a few tracks to see the breadth. Envy you discovering this.
@@baynuman I'll add that Ship on Fire is also phenomenal
So cool to watch a reaction from someone who notices subtle nuances and picks up on fun chord changes! Welcome to the rabbithole that is Sleep Token, you're in for a ride, all their songs are great... Chokehold is just *chef's kiss* Worship!
Thank you so much my dude! I really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. I’m looking forward to it 😊💜
I've also only recently discovered Sleep Token, and was about as blown away as you were, when you shot this video (haven't seen any of your other videos on Sleep Token yet, as I'm writing this).
But definitely check out some of their older stuff too, like "Alkaline", "The Offering", "Like That", "Hypnosis".....
It’s just an amazing song! I really am here for it 😊💪
Yessss! I've been waiting for you to delve into the deep with Sleep Token!! Please go ALL THE WAY!
That was the best first sleep token reaction I have seen yet!! Enjoy your trip down the sleep token rabbit hole, they are epic.
Thank you! Will do! 😊💜
All I have to say is Welcome to the Sleep Token rabbit hole. Its a wonderful journey you have just undertaken. Subbed for more ST
I’m already hyped about it 😊💪
Never have I ever said "fck me" while listening to a band as much as Sleep token. It's one of many natural reactions we as listeners have. They hit you in ways you never knew could happen.
Amazing reaction. Haha. I've been obsessed since 2019, and channels like this are extremely addictive for many of us who want to experience rediscovery through you. Haha
Pick any song of theirs and react to that one. They're all great
Awesome! Thank you! Can’t wait for more 💪😊
Welcome to the party, Melisa!
I’m a fan! Subs +1!
They’re just the best band in the world.
I can’t disagree 😊
Next to Dir en grey. Yup
Well fuck me to tears, I found my favorite reaction channel
"Have I got the right band?" LOL, absolutely reasonable response. This was a joy to watch.
OMG this is my first reaction of yours and damn I love you, love your reaction to this masterpiece definitely going to watch more of your vids right now
Thank you so much Krist :) There’s more ST where that came from :P
@@SoulSingerDiscoversI can't wait until you get to Ascensionism or Rain. Have the lyrics for both on them up before hand
Awesome reaction, kinda jealous of people who get to experience this band for the first time. Enjoyyyy
It was sooooo wonderful! Thank you for watching and commenting my dude 😊💜
Been listening to this band for close to a year now, and I don't think they can be defined, only described. Looking forward to more of your reactions!
This is just the beginning. I love watching TH-camrs discover Sleep Token. This album only gets more amazing.
Love your reactions :)
Also if anyone is wondering, the whole song is 4/4 but they are playing/singing over the bar line leaving that "where is one?" feel that's so unnerving. (Easiest 1 to find is "take" from the chorus vocal)
Thank you Mr Kiwi! Wonderful name. And thank you for the explanation on time signature. Always helpful because they throw me a lot :P
I had to listen to the song twice to digest what I had just listened to. I couldn’t figure it out at first if I was listening to something unique, or something that was just jumbled mess. But, after a second listen, I heard the genius of the song and I fell in love with this band
It’s a lot of turns in one song for sure but after a few listens I was like ‘oh this is top tier talent’. 😎
I have listened to one other song and I was very into it! Im really impressed by the vibe they are bringing 😊
Welcome to the family, you are in for an amazing, emotional ride. Worship!
please react to all of their old & new stuff‼️‼️‼️i want to watch some new reactions lmao i keep watching old ones. this band is sooo amazing. vessels voice is crazzyyy. you’ll love everything they have to offer in all of their albums & ep’s
Don’t worry I am fully committed to doing much more of this amazing band 😊💪
I’ve listened to “Euclid” about 100 times in the last few weeks. I haven’t listened to everything from Sleep Token but that’s my fav right now. I think “The Summoning” is one of their more interesting tracks. Nice reaction ❤
Thank you for watching my dude 😊
Yooooo!!!! You need to do this whole album, chica! DO IT! You wont regret it. Also...eye makeup on point!
Thank you 🥰 I will I promise it’s just getting round the TH-cam copyright thing. Hope you’re shiny my dude 😊💜💜
@@SoulSingerDiscovers🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
lmao calling out YT at the start had me in tears 🤣Subbed just for that haha awesome reaction though and looks like I have more Sleep Token reactions to go through!
Rock on! 🤘😎👍
Our favorites:
- Granite
- Alkaline
- Hypnosis
- Hey Ya (yes, they covered it)
- I Wanna Dance with Somebody (they covered that too)
Enjoy your ride with sleep token, they are my favorite band right now.
I’m so looking forward to hearing more 😊😊💪
I'd argue that metal heads find melody in chaos. Its that classic beauty in disaster. I love hearing beautiful guitar solo's in chaotic death metal. When the music is so heavy, you can do very simple things to bring out "life" or melody into a track.. And the contrast is Chefs Kiss.
The had a very successful album this year. I recommend the title track.
Sleep Token - Take Me Back To Eden.
Thanks for the suggestion I’ll check it out 😊💪
Yes. If you thirst for more, I would highly recommend "Take me back to eden" and "chokehold"!!!
Enjoy how real your reactions are. I can imagine sitting right next to you and enjoying your company. Good job lady...😎🎏
😊 thank you
I was already really liking you and your channel but at about a minute and a half in I absolutely fell in love with you!
Aw Jeffrey! That’s super sweet! I’m glad I could be a foul mouthed distraction 😂
I love seeing people hear them for the 1st time.I can't do it for the 1st time ever again, oh how I wish I could again.
Go to the beginning, not even if its for reactions. It's a story and its just mind blowing.❤
I wish you could just for the joy of it. I will do and I’m very excited 😊💜
welcome to the family. sleep token have zero bad songs, every song will make you feel a different way. worship.
Can’t wait to find more 😊
Sleep Token is taking prisoners of rock, while smashing genres. Wait until you listen to “Take Me Back To Eden”, and “Ascensionism.”
Cheers.
I will check that out! Thanks for watching and the suggestions my dude 😊💪
Well Melisa, this is my first Sleep Token song. Obviously I watch other reactors and this has been done by them but it held no interest to me until today. Guess that says something about you and your way of presenting things. 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯
That makes me so happy that I would make anything this cool more interesting! Thank you Steve 💜😊
I felt the same when I heard this song. Still gets me. Listen to all of their discovery. Wait, you were going to anyways cus now you’re hooked! Great reaction!
Thanks Neil! It was such a fun one! Looking forward to more of them and they will be back on the channel 😊💜
I saw the video title come up in my feed and immediately said "Oh this is going to absolutely be her shit" and was rewarded. Looking forward to more cause Sleep Token is just a little bit incredible.
A lot more coming after such a wonderful introduction 😊 thanks for watching my dude 💪
LOL)
Yepp, for sure not my most beloved genre. And most probably I do injustice, in this case especially to Sleep Token, because they actually did what I wrote, but they did it really well and are definitely in the top league of the genre....
But I think you got the point. And while I am at it, I stress some points again, let's call them "recommendations", but you can also call them parts of my music bible (and I am atheist!), as there are
Spiritbox - The Mara Effect live at Silverside Sound
Yeah, it's long, it's a conceptual trilogy, but it's worth it every f'cking second, and I only heard ONE person I recommended it to ever said something different than that it's absolutely genius, a metalcore opera, a revelation, life-changing experience etc. etc.
Periphery "Blood Eagle" and "Wildfire" (My personal song of the year 2023, and I somehow knew that like two weeks after it came out in early spring - because it is hard to beat by ANYTHING this year in terms of creativity, taste, originality, production and fun.)
Yeah.
Another novel by me.
Sorry.
Have a fantastic week and lots of fun with whatever you do and
keep up with what you are doing. Still LOVE your videos.
All the best regards, my wonderful Scottish dudette!
🤘😎🫀🍻☕
I discovered them on Drumeo when 2 did interview and played. I am hooked!!!
Euclid is probably my favorite Sleep Token track. Listen to their first album Sundowning and then it becomes even better.
definitely recommend the whole album
Will do! 😊
Almost every song from this band gives me an Eargasm
I love that for you 😆💜
@@SoulSingerDiscovers Lol, thx ❣️😆 But for real though, this band is awesome 🤘🏻
Finaly, someone who does react videos and has actual genuine charisma. Do Granite by Sleep Token next, the lyrics will break you.
yes
No problem! 😊
Subbed - your evil dead poster is great! Another modern metal band with a great singer who screams too is Invent Animate - I’d recommend without a whisper or Heavener
Thank you so much my dude! I will add it to my discovery list 💜😊
Oh! I forgot about "Blood Sport" It's kind of a sappy love song, but it's great
You should really check out their whole back catalogue. I have been a fan since 2018 and all their shit is amazing.
I will do! They are absolutely fantastic 😊💪
More Sleep Token? You can choose either Take Me Back to Eden album (their 3rd and where The Summoning is from) or the very beginning which would be The Night Belongs to God from Sundowning. There is no bad choice
Thanks for the recommendations Ruby 😊💪
I highly recommend you check out the live version of this track as the drummer does an awesome solo over the ambient part 👌
I'll check it out!😊
Please listen to all of their 3 albums in order. It’s beautiful and magical. Some of my favourite songs: Agua Regia, Atlantic, Fall For Me, Euclid, Give and Levitate
Thank you for these! I’ll check them out. And thank you for watching 😊💜
Thank you for this I will get tucked into these recommendations! And Thank you for watching my dude 😊
Great reaction amazing band you need to dive into them more
They change their sound each album a little but they have always had the style like this. Honestly you have a wild journey of music to go through with them. If you want to try some of the RnB style they have try Ascensionism or Take me back to Eden
Can’t with to discover more 😊
I cant help but think Messa would be totally up your alley considering you used to title your videos "soul singer" , Sara the lead singer of Messa has a really soulful voice in my opinion , mix that with some classic doomy riffs and a little bit of wackyness and u have a recipe for success.
I’m looking forward to discovering more. Thanks so much for watching my dude 😊💜
Yes! Welcome to the ride. More ST please!
Omg! That’s so me! I always prefer a more melodic song. I want some type of melody. If not in the voice , the music. New subscriber!
It just gives that little something I’m looking for that I don’t always get from the more aggressive stuff. Thanks for subbing and taking the time Angela 💜😊
Welcome to the deepest rabbit hole I ever found, listened to more Sleep Token in 2023 than any other band.

Awesome reaction! Love it. I'd like to recommend their song 'Granite.' It's my favorite. They don't have any bad songs actually. Great band.
Oooohhh I listen to it the other day and it was phenomenal! Thanks for taking the time my dude 😊💪
Thank you for watching my dude 😊
They're amazing ❤
They really are! Thanks for watching my dude 😊
The reaction is cool and all, but then I noticed the Discworld books. Love it!
I will do! Thanks so much for watching my dude 😊💪
They continually remain an exciting band to follow. You just don’t know what you will hear and the way they release music also has you staying up until midnight after thinking you’ve worked out a pattern and then get nothing! Did I say they were frustrating at times?? 😂
"Are they always like this?"
Yes. No.
No other songs of theirs have this set of genres in this order.
But they are always like this in the sense that going in to a new song you have no idea what genres and twists and turns you're gonna get.
Awesomesauce!
Amazing reaction love. You def need to try Take me back to Eden, Hypnosis, Elucid you'll love em
I just subscribed in the hopes you go down the full Sleep Token rabbit hole...
I will definitely be dipping my toe at the very least. Amazing band 😊💪
Sleep Token was the best band I 'discovered' in 2023. You owe it to yourself to listen to Granite, Aqua Regia, and Ascensionism. I wish I had found out about them sooner.
Yeah, welcome to Sleep Token. This is just a start. They don't make regulair song. They just do what they want and surprise you every time.
I’m looking forward to it 😊💪
I get tearful watching someone discover Sleep Token for the first time. Jealous too. Because I can’t relive that first listen. Fill your boots kid. There’s nothing you’ll find by these lads that you won’t enjoy. Bring up a playlist, stick a pin in it and go.
