I loved seeing your reaction. FIR is an amazing band. Ronnie is so ultimately talented no matter which genre he sings. You'll get a lot of followers if you go down this rabbithole. The Ronsters are a very good group of people who say it like it is. Try doing his original Immot a Vampire then his Im not a vampire revamped. Then original The drug in me is you and then The drug in me is reimagined. The new album Popular Monster is a great album with every style of music on it! Can't wait for the next one!

Ronnie is a polarizing figure, both musically and personally. I'm a little surprised by how positive this comment section is given that he typically generates a lot of hate. I personally really enjoy his newer work. Your reaction to the abrubtness of this video's ending is because it leads straight into "Watch the World Burn", which is also a huge video in the reaction scene. My absolute favorite though is Ronnie's collab with Jelly Roll, "All My Life". I don't want to say anything else about it. It's worth the watch.

it's like we're watching two closed friends met again after a long time :) What's suprising to me is that she's self taught. i'm sure she doesn't know about singing technics as much as you do. i think this reason is stoping her to show her full potential in some degree. In addition, the boys love to compose complex things and it makes her job more difficult. i don't think she's no 1 singer as regular singer but has a natural, unique colour. Some fans don't want to hear and get angry but i can objectively say she was such a garage singer yelling and shouting 12 years ago (if you're curious watch their "Destroy" live session from 2012).

11:04. Well, since you asked. I'm lukewarm on Jinjer, don't know why, I just am. This song specifically, there is something with the instrument mixture that irks me. The overdriven guitar; I am pretty sure he is playing different notes, but it sounds like only one note with bends and different timing. All the instruments are playing dynamically, but it sounds flat. I wish I knew more about recording so I could explain my problem with it more eloquently. Tatiana's singing is as great as it ever was.

A bird seems to have set up residence upon your bonce! I agree with you, simply a fantastic band and one I'm so happy to have stumbled across in 2018. The problem with listening to music only for a reaction channel is that you miss the development that's happened in the band over the years. Listening to Pisces (the song itself is 2 years older than the video from 2018) you're hearing a band seven years ago. The commentors that insist on recommending the same old videos to reactors means that the perception of the band is held to 10 years, 8 years, 5 years ago. I mean the last studio album was in 2021! The new stuff they are currently shipping ahead of the next album release is simply brilliant and much different to their last album. I don't envy anyone that has to restrict their listening for the sake of a "genuine first time" reaction on their YT channel.

I would highly recommend to check out more Falling in Reverse. Every song is a banger. For something melodic go for "I'm not a vampire revamped" (great example of a song that keeps building) Want more rap? do "watch the World burn"

this wasn't the song to start with since there is 8 years or so of songs leading up to this one... but keep the FIR coming you'll be happy ya did... theres a long list of songs i could type out but just start with doing the ORIGINAL i'm not a vampire and then follow that back to back with the REVAMPED version.... first is 14 or so years ago (their old style)... then Popular Monster, Watch The World Burn and the LIVE version from CaliberTV from the show in cali...voices in my head, and then just go back and pick any song and go for it... you can't miss everything is fantastic!

This 5th album isn't out yet, sched for 7 Feb. "Green Serpent" is the 4th single from that record. I do love the song, but it's #2 for me so far on the album, behind the 1st single "Someone's Daughter". Btw, Tatiana is married, to Alex Lopez ,who is currently the touring drummer for P.O.D.. But, she has said her cat takes priority over her husband.😼

As people have already mentioned the Green Serpent is an Eastern European metaphor for alcoholism. Tatiana has posted about her sobriety as well as giving interviews about it. You may be interested in Tatiana's collaboration with Spiritbox on a live performance of "Circle with Me". Great reaction as always.

Just saw Jinjer this past October. They were great. Hope you get the chance to see them it’s so worth it. One of the best live band I have seen.

lol Green Serpent is metaphorically referred to alcohol in russian. Dammmm I don't think I've ever laughed that many times listening to the introduction of a reaction video. I'll check out the album, if only because it's a worthy cause haha. Fortunately, you're not in the states, folks have gone to prison here for less. :(

This is some of my favourite vocal melodic composition from Tati, & I love her extensive use of her *gorgeous* head voice to hit highs in this piece, a part of her vocal repertoire that we've heard very little of before now. The section with the combined guitar & bass tapping with great tom drum groove is incredible, & I love the Opethy outro. Even the stripped down, simple chuggy riffs in the last two heavy sections are a welcome addition, as Jinjer fans usually have to struggle to head bang to Jinjer's weird rhythms & unusual, shifting time signatures (which I also love, of course). This is a *great,* *beautiful* song, an instant Jinjer classic, IMO.

That's the first time I've heard Tati do that much head voice. It's a small thing but the last "down" she sings in this song is pronounced in such a way to bring forth goosebumps. Love it. She has said in interviews that every time they take a break from touring (rare) when she comes back she has to "relearn" the harsh vocals. I'm sure only in a minor way but due to that all throughout their discography including live clips you can see that it does change at specific times. The thing is every iteration could have easily been her sound period for the entirety of her career including what she started with and it would be just as amazing. I can't remember a singer who has done that. So speaking of grapes and wine her harsh vocals and to some extent her clean vocals are like wine vintages.

A glorious soul singer listening to a glorious metal song, gotta love it.

That was one of the most interesting ive heard from Jinjer in a while! I do feel they sometimes when they go heavy revert to fairly typical and uninspired metalcore riffs but this didnt feel like that so much. I agree those vocal melodies were very lovely! I feel like Jinjer sound better live/sessions than they do on the records - not sure what it is about the production but there's something in those that connect with me more.
