    Why are four bolts so expensive?
    Sorry a very girly question I guess 😂

      Yeah I know but it's the special material that costs the most.

    Love it... It may be lockdown fever, but I find that I'm talking to myself as well these days, and I'm not doing it to camera. I do have a dog, though... She's not such a good conversationalist but she's a good listener 🤭

    Hi Will. Rather than measure the old gap would it be better to get the engine alignment sorted as the old gaps will be wrong due to the collapsed rubber?

      The engine was perfectly aligned when I replaced the prop shaft coupling. So I aligned it with the crushed mount so it should be the same on the new mount. Get me? So hard to explain in text isn't it. As long as that engine aligns perfect that's all that matters. Cheers

    I get you. Spot on. Was hoping to get an Aqua Drive on my new boat to help with engine alignment but don’t think it worth the extra £700 + cost. Do you?

      As long as you can align the engine yourself a flexy coupling is perfect. I would look into longevity of using both before deciding. It is a very very important part. Thanks

    We’re the old mounts the correct ones? The steel on the bottom looked thinner? Might be pattern parts

      Thank you so much for your comments. When I look up engine mount vlog I couldn't find one for my engine and there's alot of beta owners that might find this useful. I'm still doing um right now.

    Hi will. What were the symptoms that told you they needed done?

    • @NarrowboatWill
      @NarrowboatWill  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Propshaft coupling went first because engine goes out of alignment.

      A job like this you need to get the right parts. Jobs that are really difficult to do get the best parts you can because I don't want to do it again. Cheers for the info anyway buddy.

      Not a lot of money for a quality part that has been properly designed and engineered.

      It would of been treble that in a marine workshop. Oh the savings...i can see why it cost so much in marine workshops. Just no space to work in.
