This is the absolute BEST wax I have ever used! We have a 63 Blown Dodge 330 Viper Red and I have used every high-end wax and none of them compare to Turtle Was Ceramic & Graphene Past Wax...
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Graphene Paste Wax is my current favorite wax and one of my favorite waxes of all time. The reason...........GLOSS! And a lot of it. Its the glossiest wax I personally have ever used. EVER. VERY VERY glossy. It's a breeze to use too. The key is just applying it thin as possible. I used my mini-DA polisher with a three inch pad and it worked fantastic for spreading a really thin coat and making quick work of it too. Spread it out and let it haze over for about 15 minutes and immediately wipe it back off the paint. I used a ceramic one-step wax with a primer as the first step. Then I put down a base layer of Soft 99 Fusso Coat with two coats separated by 24 hours. Then finally I put down two coats of this Turtle Wax Graphene Paste wax and the car looks like it has a bright, candy apple type of finish. I get so many complement's on the car when I take it out for a drive. If you have never tried this wax, give it a shot. It's still for sale, although it's not the original 75th anniversary special tin, it's still the exact same wax in the regular tin that doesn't have the 75 Anniversary livery on it. Give it a try, you'll be happy you did. It's a truly amazing wax for adding some glossiness to your paint. I DID PREP MY PAINT, HIGH PH WASH, IRON REMOVER, CLAY MITT, and ONE STEP CERAMIC POLISH, so my paint looked really nice before I laid down the waxes. And you can easily top it off after a few months and you get the benefits of a fresh coat of wax and the hydrophobics are fully restored. I just wax right over what I put on 3 months before and I have never had an issue topping waxes either with the same wax or with a spray wax topper. My favorite spray topper is either NV Car Care Lustre Spray Sealant (incredible stuff) and/or Technicians Choice Ceramic Spray Sealant, both of which leave a buttery smooth finish after use and great hydrophobics.
Turtle Wax destroyed every wax imo last year and is on the roll to do the same again, I'm glad they didn't give up... for the price its a no brainer, I spent hundreds on care detailing products, many are not worth the price, Turtle Wax is giving us quality at a discount and its not cheap quality either...
The sister product, Flex Wax, I use as a topper on ceramic when restoring faded trim and wheelwell liners. It really improves the trim restoration over ceramic alone. Splits the difference between a basic ceramic job and dye products without the mess of the latter and unlike the latter is not a disaster to get on your paint or windshield when restoring those tricky tight spots.
Dave, testament to you and your hard work and late nights. Super video with a lot packed in. Looks like a great product and looking forward to longevity reports another time. Also publicly, thank you for the support you've shown me this week in particular ♥️
I've just ordered some along with the Flex Spray wax for maintenance. Can't wait to try it as everyone on TH-cam has only excellent things to say. Very honest and informative review. I'll be subscribing to your channel from now on 😊
Thank you Archie, have a look through my previous, pretty much all in the same style. I have a no bull approach, some like it, some dont, but I wouldnt have it any other way. 👍😉
Is it just me, but are all these waxes and sealants starting to perform about the same as one another. The results from this 2021 wax appear to be on par with their Ice Past Wax. Am I wrong?
As I understand it, it’s the ‘75 anniversary’ lids that are ltd edition... I’ve got two pots with plain lids. Used once so far, it’s a lovely wax to use.
Yeah that's how its come to be. The lid really is nothing to shout about either. I genuinely believe it WAS the wax that was ltd before they've seen how popular it is. Why kill a good thing? But yes, agree, a top wax, that I have thoroughly enjoyed up to now. 👍
Applied the TW Flex Wax to one side of my car and 303 Graphene spray to the other, wanting to see the durability in real world conditions. What I can say is 303 is grabby to remove but both look very similar with the Flex Wax feeling smoother to the touch. Great video mate👍
Good early video. Just two things in passing: (1) use a panel pen to mark what panel is where and remove the tape before washing as the adhesive in the tape compromises the test. (2) it looks like there is failure far before noted. I'm no expert but I don't think sheeting necessarily means the product is in tact and I would deem that a failure at the end. The panel is stood up so there will always be some sheeting.
Two quick responses that I noted are important but missing from the voice over. 1. The bonnet is at a much lower angle after the initial wash test 2. After each round of chemical, I rewashed with the pure shampoo to remove anything left behind and potentially masking the results. This is what you are seeing. The rest of the panel 100% shows a huge difference and none of these products have failed, far from it. I'm doing a test on all 5 later in the month so I'll try and show it better there, on a flatter laid panel. They are all crazy resistant products and let's not forget, shouldn't be hit with truck wash TFR, decon shampoos, and acidic wheel cleaners!
The pen is a good idea, on my previous vids I've used vinyl stickers but my cutter has been out of action for a week or so. Go and take a look at either the Megs Scratch X video to see what I usually do and let me know what you think.
i would have liked to have seen the bottom half of the sections taped off and only that bottom half hit with the different chemicals, that way you could see the deterioration.
I used this stuff today on my 20 Camaro and I wasn't too impressed by it. I ended up using Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spay on the rest of the car which has given me amazing results.
Excellent review Dave. I’ve gone off wax in recent years . But will look out to get this . Looks an excellent product. Even though I’m not a turtle wax fan.
i thought this works for dark surfaces...i didn't know white color surfaces can shine too with this wax...it should work pretty good on silver be it light or darker tone...
I hit my car with that turtle wax paste and 3 weeks later gave it the first wash and it didn’t bead up after the rinse the car does sit outside . Now i just hit it with the Fusso and we’ll see how it holds up in the Florida weather
I've done follow ups on this wax. I was the only youtuber to do so in a perfectly impartial manner. It didn't last as long as I had hoped. Fusso will destroy this in terms of longevity.
I see you have the Hybrid Ceramic Spray on the left to the wax, I wanna know does the wax helps with swirl marks better than Ceramic Spray?? I have been using the spay, but I wanna try the wax now but only if it help with reducing the swirl marks temporarily even with little bit. Because the spray doesn't.
How did all other products on the panel perform in comparison? I have got the HS ceramic spray coating, HS graphene flex wax and just received the 75th anniversary last week...really don't know which one to put onto my car now...top review by the way...
I've actually got the panel still with all 5 of the TW products, waiting to be tested to destruction! Gonna be foing that this weekend hopefully! They all held up to these tests really well, so I'm gonna step it up and get an actual order of failure (if I can).
@@DetailingandtheBeast look forward to the update and we can finally have a comparison on the comprehensive hot products currently on the market...that will be one of the first 😀
TW said to use the wax as your base layer and then use the flex wax as the top up. But honestly I dont see this out lasting seal n shine. So I'd say either way is fine but needs to be long term tested to determine either way.
Cracking good review of this new paste wax from TW. Looking forward to seeing further durability testing with other TW products. It would be useful to see how it protects against hard water spotting. New subscriber from Nevada.
I'm gonna be comparing the 5 TW products in a future videos. The Max Wax is very good. Not entirely sure yet which of the Pro products I prefer, I'm leaning towards Flex at the minute just for speed. I have recently fell out of love with paste waxes, but this has made me stop and take note for sure.
My absolute favorite has been the Meguiars ultimate paste wax. Phenomenal hydrophobics, shine, and protection. (I am a DIY guy). After watching several reviews on this Turtle wax, I ordered some and cannot wait to try it out!
I dont have the EZ extreme version. Just the regular ceramic wax, which I am a big fan. I cant comment on the longevity of this TW one just yet, but from the torture tests I am MASSIVELY impressed. I think I need to get it on a darker motor soon, but I think this could be a new found favourite! It smells better too!
@@DetailingandtheBeast ty for the reply (Y) I was thinking the same, I want to try this TW on my Mrs' black car after seeing the difference it made in your video, 30 quid a tub has gotta be worth a go when it's available : The EZ Extreme has been used on my white car - granted it's only been on a week so too early to tell longevity.
Intresting, lots out there slagging off TW ,i used it for years on my old VWT4 ,it was the go to of detailing back in the day ,to be honest I washed it in fairy liquid for 15 years and not a single problem and it is still a head turner today with over 230000 on the clock as I drove past it in town yesterday and thought she still looks good
I think they went seriously down hill, and in the past couple fo years have really upped their game, to the point they are now setting some of the benchmarks - especially in the chemical resistance tests.
I received mine today finally 😀, two things, the smell isn’t that great, after watching your video I was excited to smell it. Personally think the marzipan smell of EZ CAR CARE is nicer, but that’s just me. Also on the label that you didn’t mention it has a P65warning? Is this something to be concerned about before I use the product? Hope to hear your thoughts on this, 😉, chris
I've read the p65 thing, and my conclusion was that "at least they put it on the label". The warning has to go on for certain chemicals, but it doesnt state how much is in there, or how much makes a human sick. It is a warning we should take note of, but ultimately my conclusion was that more brands arent including these warning who probably should be. And a final point, as serious as it is, it is technically only a warning in law for Californians! I have EZ ceramic and that does smell very nice, I've reviewed that one myself too. Their graphene on the other hand is ghastly. I prefer the TW sweets smell myself, I've since been told it could smell of Pez sweets! Remember those??
@@DetailingandtheBeast thank you for your reply, In my opinion your a car detailing influencer, one of the reasons I bought the product was because of your review, I’ve had a look on their website and can’t find anything on what chemicals they are and if it only for the USA market. Maybe this is something you could make a video on (with any products) since the community is dealing with all sorts or potentially harmful chemicals.. I’d never heard of p65 until today The EZ ceramic is my go to at the moment because of how it works on the paint and smell to work with.. your right about the EZ graphene wax though, not a pleasurable application or smell experience, in my early 30’s and do remember pez sweets 😁
"A detailing influencer" 🤣 NOOOO! I'm simply a guy in his garage trying stuff out, I started videoing it to stop people asking me what I was up to this week, and its grown from there. I've been getting random amd unnecessary detailing stuff since around 2005. Trying out different things, testing stuff against others, and upsetting many brands along the way. Videos for me just allow me to not have to repeat myself 250 times on the same subjects. I never push products down peoples throats, I'm always of the opinion that we're all grown adults, that control our own finances (hopefully!). If I show something I like, of course itll come across enthusiastically, but on the flip side, if I dislike something you'll also get to know about it with similar enthusiasm. But ultimately nobody should buy anything based on a single "review". Always gather as much info as you can from multiple sources, regardless of what it is you are buying. 😎🍻
Prop65 is ridiculous. Aspirine and other commonly ingested "chemicals." I suggest looking at the list of thousands of items we use everyday. I'm sure it started off with good intentions but, as with all bureaucracies, it became unwieldy and useless. I advise companies to put that label on everything or else they have to constantly review the reg to see if the latest version added something they have in the product resulting in unknown and unexpected corporate liability.
Hi Dave. My new black metallic car is coming soon. I already bought the graphene flex wax. Now I think I use this paste wax and use the graphene flex wax as a topper and for maintenance. How you feel about this?
Now theres a question. After my testing, I'd guess at around 6 to 9 months. Nobody (not even turtle wax) knows the longevity in the real world, and there are so many environmental factors it's difficult to give a sweeping answer on longevity.
I will do the base with the paste wax, ad flex wax as topper. After two and four months I top up with flex wax. After 6 months I will do the paste again with flex etc etc. I am kind of a planning guy 😃
Interesting question because I'd say it could actually be the other way around. But realistically, I'd say one or the other product, probably not both.
@@DetailingandtheBeast thanks! Just confusrd as watched a few of this paste wax videos, particularly one from Pan, saying it can be applied on top of any coating wsx or sealant, and others said differently.
You klnow what - filling is underated. Ipolish my car, but any nerd knows with a black car you bascially have to polish every 18m to be perfect. Well if you are 'waxing' then a filler that hides the micro swirls is great! I'm keen on this. Turtle Wax may be 'uncool' but they are killing it with this new gen of products.
Sounds like good stuff! 😎 So even though the jar you have is a 75th anniversary special do TW have plans to release a mainstream version that'll be available to buy all year round?
I honestly dont know! But they damned well should! I thinks going to be available everywhere, but only for a limited time, so I'd say maybe the year??? But yes totally agree it should then be repotted/relabelled to something more "permanent".
They changed there formula it is now made with no smooth slick finish took me 10 min just to get it off my front hood so hard to hand buff off its bs now
Just found your channel with this video, and I like it. Nice effort and detailed results. Thanks for putting it out here. :) One question I have is this - I rather like your bucket beast (sticker), have you thought of selling things like that? Any merch? I didn't see any links in the description, hence the question. :) **edited for spelling**
Thanks Eric. Yeah I sell merch. Mainly the hoodies, but bucket stickers are also do-able. I'm in the process of setting up a website but for now everything is done via email dave@Twistedonline.co.uk 👍
Thats quite surprising as i thought it would have looked like it wasn't applied with the amount of chemicals you had hit it with. Should i assume it must be a 12month wax??
@@DetailingandtheBeast going by the amount of washes and hits you did with tfr, zero 1 and wheel cleaner that'll be 50 washes if 1 a wk. If i counted that currently lol
@@DetailingandtheBeast i dont think it'll be kicking ass from 9 -12 months as not everyone will hit the vehicle's with tfr zero 1 or even putting a wheel cleaner on there cars. Great and defo a fair review 👏 id say
We cant gove an answer on how long, nobody has realistically tested it for longevity, but based on these torture tests... a LONG time. If anyone pins a number to this, they are guessing at best. A new car or an older car, it's all about the preparation to ensure a strong bond to the clearcoat. 👍
I briefly discuss it in the video. But at least a full chemical decontamination, iron fallout remover and a tar remover, full wash with a "no wax" shampoo. Optional but preferred is also a mechanical decontaminate with clay bar or towel, and a machine polish. I appreciate that a lot dont have machines, so the chemical decon should be enough. 👍
Good to see a lighter colour being used as well as the panel . Was about to suggest bringing my white one over to test on 😇 . Just needs a full decon soon once it's warmer
I thought youd never notice 😉🤣 Always see you asking about lighter coloured cars. Makes for something different right?! That's why I used the panel as well - the car came up lovely, bit it's difficult to demo the filling ability etc on anything other than black/navy.
@@DetailingandtheBeast thing is you see so many silver and lighter coloured cars on car parks these days its more likely that some will be working with lighter coloured cars . I do miss my dark blue Nissan for that deep , wet look she always had
Yeah totally get it. I enjoy working on the lighter colours to be fair. It just seems "more clean" when they're done. They are better to see tar and fallout results too. Problem is with filming cars, the darker ones always "show" better on camera.
I know right! I discovered it by mistake, but it did a good job! Maybe it would be a different result on different plastics?? But for us, this did a good job, and the less care you have to take, the quicker you can get a job done!
Thanks for the feedback, I always like reading all the comments, and reply when I can. The channel isnt big enough yet where I'm getting lost in the comments coming in. 🤣👍
Love this video. Great job man. Nice work respecting their request and waiting, like an *actual* professional adult. Super awesome it basically dresses trim too, great bonus. How about glass? 👍👌✌
Other Turtle Wax products. 😎 Not all identical, but they were being hit at the same time for a future comparison video between 5 of TWs protection products. In that video we will be testing them to destruction.
I've used Fusso, it was a stable product of mine for probably 4 years. I did a winter prep video about 15-18 months ago using Fusso. It's a bead monster and also very chemically resistant. Without testing them side by side I couldn't honestly call it yet. I'd say from the start this TW offering is slicker to the touch for sure and easier to remove, but other than that I have no direct comparisons I can offer.
I think this is going to sell out fast. It's ok checking out TH-cam reviews, but as soon as people start reporting this back on general social media its gonna explode! I'm predicting a reaction from the community like there was when Fusso coat came out.
Subscribed and liked. Great work on your test, your prep, and presentation. I might add for future tests, especially ones using chemical testing, is a wet wipe before assessing the water behavior, as it can mask the performance. I would also Like to see a bit more variation in the water supply (open hose, shower head), as pressure washers usually use very little water and tilt the results toward sheeting vs flooding.
Appreciate your comments, cheers! Regards the masking, it was something I didnt show (in an attempt to keep the video under and hour), but I did wash after every chemical subset with the pure shampoo for exactly the issue of masking. 😉👍
Great video Dave, but I would love to see a true torture test by applying it to a car and doing some wet motorway miles, the abrasive effect of gritty water at 70 mph is a true test of its durability.
Whilst I ultimately agree - there are a few things to highlight. 1. As a product reviewer I cant reasonably offer long term testing against every product. I did this on my own Ranger with the Garage Therapy Three CS, and effectively degraded it to a state of being starting to be degraded down the sides of the car within 5 months. It just isnt possible to try every product when things nowadays are lasting longer and longer. 2. By the time such meaningful results come in, the "scene" has moved on and nobody is ultimately interested because it's now "Company X Nano/Ceramic/Graphene/Kryptonite Sealant 3.0" what they want to see. But yes, again, in an ideal world we would test stuff in the real world in real conditions, every single time (and be able to do it quickly!)
@@DetailingandtheBeast The reason I say this is, every product I have seen recommended by yourself, Pan, John at Forensic Detailing, nothing lasts a wet drive to Aberdeen and back from Stirling. TBF that is 250 miles which isn’t exactly practical for yourself. Although the roof and bonnet last well the side panels are done by the time I get back and carry out my weekly maintenance wash, even the mighty seal and shine failed. Anyway, keep up the good work and I hope your channel goes from strength to strength.
Do you think this wax type of product is making a comeback because they can't get what they need into a spray type product, looks like wax maybe coming back into it's own, certainly seems to be a niche market for them until others catch up.
Maybe... for me the biggest drawback nowadays will always be the time it takes to apply and remove compared to a sprayable product. I was well on the road to never using wax again, but I have had to stop and think twice after seeing this for myself.
@@DetailingandtheBeast I'm with you on the wax application side of things, everyone's lives have got busier and the need for something quick to apply doesn't necessarily mean it's better, I've always found if you put the hard work in you get the results, however paint on new cars is different to what was years ago and polish and wax were the products that worked, weather I was sucked in by the spray waxes, QD and sealant type products etc claiming this that or the other, when a wax was probably good enough and usually gives a warm glow and depth to the new type of paintwork. I've recently bought a black focus that needs a complete strip back etc paint wise,I'm now in to minds what to put on it,I've got 3cs which I've applied to a citroen c1 we have as the local runaround and it's really good, this was going to be applied to the focus after it's decon and 2 stage compound and polish, I'm now in 2 minds, help. Thanks for an answer in advance 👍
@@mikethomas8782 only something you can answer! But I've got the same conundrum, when summer rolls around, do I go this wax with Sigma top, or 3CS and Sigma top. Up to now I'm totally undecided. Definitely lots of Sigma though!
Nice vid Dave. I like paste waxes as they seem to give a warm that other coatings don't. But as much as I like paste waxes, my arms don't! So with that in mind I had GT Three CS and Sigma in mind, then AM Details new Hybrid line. Then TW new Flex and Max wax came out over here and I thought hmmm maybe. Now this thing arrives and I'm back at square one. HELP!!!
I totally get what you're saying. The application and removal of the paste waxes 100% is more difficult. 3cS is a breeze to apply and remove, Sigma is ridiculously simple. I hadn't used a paste wax for a while because ease of products is a big factor for me. But, as much extra work as this is, I'm impressed and will be putting this new wax to use more over the coming months.
Brother the other areas to each side of the paste wax were performing just as well. Also if wonder wheels is truly a harsh chemical you should’ve had on gloves...so I’m not so convinced it was harsh.
The other sides (all 5 segments) are the other TW protection products, and yes they all performed well too! More on them in a future vid 😉 I'll post you this wonder wheels out and you can have a bath in it. 🤣 Yes I 100% should have been wearing gloves with this, the GT and the JennyChem. My hands are a tad dry and sore today.
@@DetailingandtheBeast 😂😂I’ll take your word on the wonder wheels. We, of course, have nasty stuff in the US too that only get used in extreme circumstances. The paste started to sheet after a couple of hits of your test and that was on a vertical panel. That means the sheeting would’ve been more apparent on a hood(bonnet) and roof. You know how folks are once it stops beading they think it’s finished.
Yeah I've have seen a LOT of you guys stressing this point, maybe now Turtle wax (and others to be fair) will take notice and do a proper distribution to Aus.
I cannot win! If you've been on the channel for a while, you'll see I test a lot of products on darker cars, then get hammered for never using lighter cars. Do a light car, people want dark! I do white car with black test panel and people STILL comment!
Lol...so it's a good, new type, wax. Don't see a big difference between most good waxes, I guess it's the time frame it stays and protects is the big thing
Fantastic job Dave! Firstly, loving the limited edition green intro - it's the little details that make a big difference lol Durability looks incredible - I thought the other products looked woefully overpriced but this seems like a bargain at £30! You even managed to make a white Dacia Sandero look decent 🤣 You need to bin that Wonder Wheels before it becomes a bio-hazard 🤣👍🏼 Really enjoyed that mate. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Showing me how supporting others videos should be done! 😉👌 Thank you pal, yeah I thought that green intro was a quick easy change. The price is a bargain, and yes the Dacia is a turd 🤣🤣
Tripled I think... 🤣 For £30 for that size, I dont think they need to offer anything really. But it does! They're are plenty of waxes around that are massively up in price compared to this... I have a lot of them... and they dont do even a tenth of the job in the torture tests.
How do mere mortals, weekend warriors, wing men, keen armatures and nostalgia junkies actually get their hands on a pot of this mystical brew? Both 75th Anniversary and black lid varieties appear to be sold out everywhere from large rivers in South America to high streets up and down the nation. Will it be back in stock anywhere, anytime soon?
Damn good question. I've just checked and it is indeed sold out. I know loads of people who have received theirs last week. Guess there was a mad rush?? 🙈 There will be more, TW are committed to keeping this for the year at least.
If garage therapy zero is as good as most of the detailing channels claim. 20 washes would that have removed it. Another test for you. Or wait until its been on a month or two.
I do get the impression (and dont take this as gospel) that this stuff might need a machine to remove it... I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve to try and smash it (neat Zero and neat PM TFR).

The panel is stood up so there will always be some sheeting.
Two quick responses that I noted are important but missing from the voice over.
1. The bonnet is at a much lower angle after the initial wash test
Great video 👍 I use that stuff and love it, . I want one of them orange pullovers, where you get them??
What do I apply first. This wax or the “to the Max Wax”?
I used this stuff today on my 20 Camaro and I wasn't too impressed by it. I ended up using Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spay on the rest of the car which has given me amazing results.
Excellent review Dave. I’ve gone off wax in recent years . But will look out to get this . Looks an excellent product. Even though I’m not a turtle wax fan.
I've been "off" it too, its far too time consuming for me and my busy schedule. But I think this is winning me back around. It is impressive.
Course you put this wax on painted diamond cut alloy? Also roughly how long will it last? I have a brand new car but zero clue about cleaning them.
i thought this works for dark surfaces...i didn't know white color surfaces can shine too with this wax...it should work pretty good on silver be it light or darker tone...
I wonder how long this will last? Graphine Flex spray lasts about 6 months.
No this has no paint correcting properties same with the spray it's just a protectant
@@DetailingandtheBeast look forward to the update and we can finally have a comparison on the comprehensive hot products currently on the market...that will be one of the first 😀
Can't wait to try it on my next wash, should I seal with seal n shine or ceramic spray then apply this?
TW said to use the wax as your base layer and then use the flex wax as the top up. But honestly I dont see this out lasting seal n shine. So I'd say either way is fine but needs to be long term tested to determine either way.
@@DetailingandtheBeast you think seal n shine would last longer!?
I reckon it's close yeah!
I've got a vlog going for longevity of the wax. We are at week 6 now, might get an update out tomorrow. 😉👍
Excellent honest review!!!! Also the other products looks pretty damn awesome too!!!! Good old seal and shine!!!!
Cheers Adrian. I try my best 😉
Cracking good review of this new paste wax from TW. Looking forward to seeing further durability testing with other TW products. It would be useful to see how it protects against hard water spotting. New subscriber from Nevada.
Welcome to the channel! I hope you enjoy the videos. 👍
How did this compare to the liquid wax version?
My go to wax is the meguiars ultimate paste wax so hope it's better than this :)
Absolutely cracking video mate
Thank you!
Great honest video - Never really fancied using Turtle Wax before, may, may get this as it does seem bomb proof.
I'm gonna smash it some more and see waht/if/when I can kill it.
Can i apply this graphene-ceramic wax over carnauba wax?
This has carnauba as part of its make-up. 10 different waxes apparently!
@@DetailingandtheBeast appreciated 👍
Hi Dave. Great video. Sorry if you may have been asked this. Which do you prefer; This or EZ Ceramic Extreme?
It looks great but I'm struggling to find it in the UK. Hopefully it will become available later in the year.
Turtle wax UK website has them on preorder for shipping on 17th. 👍
I’d never heard of p65 until today
The EZ ceramic is my go to at the moment because of how it works on the paint and smell to work with.. your right about the EZ graphene wax though, not a pleasurable application or smell experience, in my early 30’s and do remember pez sweets 😁
Seriously brilliant. Much appreciated 😎
Thanks!
Hi Dave. My new black metallic car is coming soon. I already bought the graphene flex wax. Now I think I use this paste wax and use the graphene flex wax as a topper and for maintenance. How you feel about this?
That would be my way of doing it with the TW products. 100% use the paste wax as the base.
@@DetailingandtheBeast tnx. After what time I would need to re-apply the paste wax you think?
Now theres a question. After my testing, I'd guess at around 6 to 9 months. Nobody (not even turtle wax) knows the longevity in the real world, and there are so many environmental factors it's difficult to give a sweeping answer on longevity.
I will do the base with the paste wax, ad flex wax as topper. After two and four months I top up with flex wax. After 6 months I will do the paste again with flex etc etc. I am kind of a planning guy 😃
What I specially looking for is ultimate gloss, easy maintenance, easy application and I prefer sheeting over beading
Ordered some last night can't wait to try out on a black audi tt looks awesome stuff great video as well thanks

Thank you. I did put a hell of a lot of effort into this one! Was a very very late night last night. 😔
Can this be applied on top of hybrid ceramix spray wax as a topper?
Interesting question because I'd say it could actually be the other way around. But realistically, I'd say one or the other product, probably not both.
@@DetailingandtheBeast thanks! Just confusrd as watched a few of this paste wax videos, particularly one from Pan, saying it can be applied on top of any coating wsx or sealant, and others said differently.
I'd definitely say it's more a base product
what u favorite between this turtle wax or fusso?
Absolutely no contest... Fusso.
100% agreed! You simply cant keep polishing away clearcoat, at some point you have to get smart! 😉👍
@@DetailingandtheBeast is this the best filler wax with hydrophobics you know of ?
I am from India very good test.. Really good
That looks like great stuff. I think I’d be topping that off with a couple of layers of GT Sigma then you’d be good for six months.
What the hell is gt sigma? Never heard about it
Look up "Garage Therapy UK". I also have a review on this channel. Go check it out!
@@DetailingandtheBeast I top it off with TW sprays.
@@DetailingandtheBeast Yeah and maybe a smaller pot as that one you have would last me as long as your bottle of Wonder Wheels. 😁

Just found your channel with this video, and I like it. Nice effort and detailed results. Thanks for putting it out here. :)
One question I have is this - I rather like your bucket beast (sticker), have you thought of selling things like that? Any merch? I didn't see any links in the description, hence the question. :)
**edited for spelling**
Thanks Eric. Yeah I sell merch. Mainly the hoodies, but bucket stickers are also do-able. I'm in the process of setting up a website but for now everything is done via email dave@Twistedonline.co.uk 👍
Thats quite surprising as i thought it would have looked like it wasn't applied with the amount of chemicals you had hit it with. Should i assume it must be a 12month wax??
Guess so, but again no claims unless its seen by myself! All I can do is try and kill it and judge from that how I think it will perform.
@@DetailingandtheBeast going by the amount of washes and hits you did with tfr, zero 1 and wheel cleaner that'll be 50 washes if 1 a wk. If i counted that currently lol
It's just the environmental impact isnt it! So grit, sand, gravel, motorway "wash", etc etc. But yeah I'd say you're in the right sort of area.
@@DetailingandtheBeast i dont think it'll be kicking ass from 9 -12 months as not everyone will hit the vehicle's with tfr zero 1 or even putting a wheel cleaner on there cars.
Great and defo a fair review 👏 id say
Thanks David. Appreciate it.
Thanks for the video, how long will this wax last? Good to use on a brand new vehicle?
We cant gove an answer on how long, nobody has realistically tested it for longevity, but based on these torture tests... a LONG time. If anyone pins a number to this, they are guessing at best.
A new car or an older car, it's all about the preparation to ensure a strong bond to the clearcoat. 👍
@@DetailingandtheBeast what would you use to prep the car? Complete novice here!
@@DetailingandtheBeast exactly harder to show a shine on lighter . Saw Apex Detail has used a white Range Rover on his video of this product

Awesome video, looks impressive
Whats it like compared to the Fusso coat wax for 20-30quid? Not sure if you ever tried that one out.
Edit: nevermind you have lol
I've used Fusso, it was a stable product of mine for probably 4 years. I did a winter prep video about 15-18 months ago using Fusso. It's a bead monster and also very chemically resistant. Without testing them side by side I couldn't honestly call it yet. I'd say from the start this TW offering is slicker to the touch for sure and easier to remove, but other than that I have no direct comparisons I can offer.
Great product Dave, have just placed an order
I think this is going to sell out fast. It's ok checking out TH-cam reviews, but as soon as people start reporting this back on general social media its gonna explode!
I'm predicting a reaction from the community like there was when Fusso coat came out.
Just ordered it - stonking review.
Cheers man!
Great test....where can one purchase it in the UK? cheers!
Turtle Wax UK website only at the minute.
Think it's on preorder.
@@DetailingandtheBeast Got one in Halfords
How's the sns perform after all the torture test? Thanks!

Looks fantastic man , be great to see it in a head to head with some other paste waxes .
Maybe in the future Nicky. Got a few ideas already!
Sounds great man look forward to it , balls they don't ship to Ireland from the states 🤬
@@DetailingandtheBeast I thought 3cs and wax ( your choice ) on top !!
I'd use this wax as a base in place of 3CS, I think it's strong enough. Sigma will go on top of pretty much any LSP.
