Great review brother! That mini turned out great! Can’t wait to try mine out. You’re final thoughts were great and on point and love how it had you speechless. Looking forward to some durability videos.
Thanks Brother!!! Appreciate it man! Yes, honestly been sooo long since I've used a paste wax this was very nice. Enjoyed it!!! You will love it! Look forward to you using it! Take care Mr Q!!!!
I actually found that it was a little harder to apply than some of the other waxes that I've been using, including To The Max Wax. It did come off easy- but application was a little tougher. I've found that putting ceramic coating is easier than applying this. I used the same foam applicator too.
Yeah, definitely not as easy as any liquid wax... like max wax. Idk some coatings are a pain from what I hear! Although more companies are coming out with some very easy to use coatings.. so, I can't disagree there. 👍

I don’t blame them at all, I don’t think Turtle Wax anticipated the demand. I am disappointed that TW sent an email a couple of weeks ago stating they had shipped it and finding out they hadn’t is quite disappointing. I would rather they just explain the situation. Honestly is the best policy.
Hey Eric. New to the channel and really appreciated this vid. I was so excited to use this paste wax that I didn't even do a paint prep first. I did do a si02 rinseless wash first though. Anyway I also found it a little grabby but it's paste wax. 4 hrs after I finished it poured sheets of 🌧 hard rain. All I could do was smile when I saw the hydros. This stuff is legit! One more thing...how do I contact you for a detail?
Hey Kathryn! Thank you so much! Ehhh I thunk that si02 rinseless will be just fine as a prep. Slightly grabby but, as you said it's a paste wax😁 stuff is awesome. 4hrs shoot that's a bummer. Didn't even get a chance to cure. But 4hrs should be plenty for just water. You can email me at Papasmurf918detail@gmail.com... on Instagram or I'm now on tiktok!🤙
Nice video Eric, it's good to know there is a quality paste wax available for those who prefer paste waxes over sprays & liquids - especially the easy removal part. It's been a LONG time since I've tried to use a paste wax, I think it was Collinite 476 and that was a nightmare, both application AND removal, and that was over 10 years ago. I don't think I'll be getting it though, I'm kind of stuck on the Turtle Wax HS Ceramic and now the Graphene Flex Wax (you've seen the pics of the Camaro after 2 coats of Flex Wax). I agree with trying out the 75th Anniversary Paste with a polisher and application pad for thinner, more even and faster coverage.
Thanks man!!! Yeah paste wax a long time ago for me was a struggle. This stuff is awesome.. yeah your golden with your setup.. future maybe pick some up down the road cheap and try it. Think you'd like it! Thanks for watching man!👍
Jose, it would be more grabby yeah.. I like the low pile towels for removing waxes... as well as compounds and polishes as long as it's not soft black paint hahaha. Then I gotta grab a soft plush towel
@@PapaSmurf918Detail yeah i hear you... I use my 365s for compound/polish But try to use a softer one for paste wax. I wonder if there's a "hidden" damp towel trick for this product removal too lol
I’ve found it has a beautiful finish and the water beads nicely. However, it doesn’t run as well as the Meguiar’s hybrid ceramic liquid wax. But, it has a nicer finish and slickness to the touch
He Smurf, my black metallic car is coming in soon. I am thinking to use this wax as a base coat on month one. Then use the TW graphene infused flex wax as a topper on month two and three. Month 4 start routine again. What you think of this?
Hey my friend! I think that would work awesome man!!! The flex will be a great topper for this Paste wax👍👍 if you have ANY issues with streaking remember a damp towel will be your best friend!👍
I don't think you could've picked a better color to show that paste off. Just luv that green! Am anxious to try it but have just applied the MAX and FLEX to my Tornado red GTI - applied over a light after winter correction with the TW Hybrid Ceramic Polish - stuff is sick. Sooo...gonna give that combo a month or so to gaze at then have a go with the paste. Pride in the ride man!...shine on you crazy diamond.

Another good video and the wax looks really cool when applying it. I saw Rad use the Gyeon wax over a ceramic coating earlier this year and it looked amazing. The turtle wax looks super glossy and is something I need to try this year. Here in the south this product should last a month in the summer time. For me this wax should make an excellent topper and it is easy to use.

Great video as always! That wax is legit and should make a lot of people happy. The green thinner towels are great for taking that off faster. Thicker and fluffier towels don't work as well on it. Good stuff dude!
I guess I missed this video too but just watched it. Excellent Result with the wax! I almost grabbed the deal from Glovebox but in the end I decided against it because I have too many products and want to use some of them up. I did finally bite the bullet and get some 3D One in the 8 oz size so i can try that. I've been up all night. Still wide awake. Might not sleep today. Still have lots of things to put away and arrange at my new place. Most importantly my new computer.

Hey, been a while but good to see your great work again. Apparently Australia isn't getting the TW Graphene paste wax which is a real shame as this is my preferred type of finish. Cheers Brenton 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Yeah that paste and liquid in the glass bottle was equivalent to a two hour gym workout to get off lol. From that to Rain Dance, NuFinish, Zymol, and countless others over the last 40 years, I used this today. By far the easiest wax to apply and remove. It is a little draggy applying with a microfiber applicator but coverage is fantastic. The slickness and shine are amazing.
sir, i have a Yamaha 2021'MT-07 thats never been washed and has been garage kept. i want to do a wash and detail on it. it has resudue left over on the rear tail sections as well as both sides of the gas tank from where stickers were removed using 3M adhesive remover. i noticed it has some smear marks also. my plan was to use the Mothers clay bar system with the quik detailer then follow that up with the turtle wax paste wax that you are using in this video. am i doing this process in the right order? and what are the best microfiber towels to use on my motorcycle? Consider me a subscriber. 2 👍's up
Hey my friend! So you've pretty much got it down. 👍 but after the adhesive remover I'd wipe down, then wash an decontamination stage.. then come in and polish. That will yield best results 👌
Lol! Knee cracks... Wait till you hit 55! 😆 You'll be crackin all day! 😆 I wanted to try this wax..... I went with the to the max liquid graphene. Haven't used it yet but looking forward. I'm going to use seal and shine with the ttmw graphene on top..... Should be a winner with that. Ty for your vids!!! Very down to earth with honest info. 👌
@@PapaSmurf918Detail One thing I HAVE found is that with paste waxes, if you use a very damp(spray with a bit of water), into a foam applicator pad, then spread the wax on the paint, much easier application and removal. Just a old school tip.
Absolutely! You can go with the Adam's wheel and tire cleaner ( which I currently use ) and it's awesome.. another great one is P&S brake buster.. very affordable and effective 👍👍
Robert.. straight lines, circular motions it doesn't matter.. I do both.. depends how I'm feeling.. just make sure application pad is clean.. car is contamination free and you will have 0 issues. I know people day don't do circular motions... but, face it... as long as your surface is clean and your application pad is clean.. it does not matter 👍👍👍
Yes you can absolutely apply this to piano black pillars. 👍 just use a soft plush quality microfiber towel to wipe off. They are soft and can scratch easy. 👍
That’s an excellent & honest review with a very thorough demonstration! Way to go Eric, thank you so much for making this! See you on the Livestream Hangout on Mike’s Auto Detailing TH-cam channel @ 9PM Eastern Time!! 🤜🏼🤜🏼
I’ll back I’m speechless just using the spray flex wax Graphene 👌👌. It’s their loss if viewers don’t believe you. What’s even more compelling is it’s priced very reasonable 🤗🤗
Hi ! I'm from Portugal. Can i use it after aplying a coat of regular polish and after the Turtle ceramic paste wax + graphene ? (My car, a VW Passat 2.0 TDI 4Motion from 2015, when i pass my hand trough the paint it feel's like a fine and thin layer of sandpaper) Oh, can i aply in the car rims too ?
Hello there. Thanks for watching. 👍 yes, you absolutely can apply after polishing. Just be sure to use a panel prep to remove the oils left by the polish. Then apply the wax👍. If the paint feels like sandpaper then your going to need to decontaminate the paint by claying. Either a clay mitt or traditional clay. That should be the first step before polishing. And yes, this wax can definitely be applied to rims. Although it may not hold up as long due to heat.
@@PapaSmurf918Detail in case you were wondering, the ceramic coating and extreme solutions Topper is rejecting the dust that's in my garage. Just a cool bonus that I wasn't expecting.
Claying or decontamination steps are definitely not 100% needed but if you want to get the longest life out of your protection is recommend it for sure. Look into a clay towel or mitt as they are less likely to marr. Typically you would wanna polish as well. Traditional clay is abrasive and will need to be followed up with a light polish. 👍
Wax on wax off Mr Miyagi, must follow the masters advice & not wax ones rubbers as premature curing could be dangerous & embarrassing explaining how. All humour aside I think your man will be chuffed to bits getting his BRG paintwork looking as good as it does. It might be nice if you can gring the car back in for a wash & qd every quarter to see what shape the turtle is in for a real durability test, just a thought. Had my name on the first pre order list for the 75 anniversary, sadly zero 75 year lids made their way across the pond without anyone knowing until they opened the box which was a disappointment as majority of purchases were for the limited edition. Schiesser happens I suppose but great to see its treating you well. Take Care Fella have a great weekend. (will try & get some uploads into instagram over the next few days, my youngests VW has come out of ywo weeks curing looking absolutely fantastic.. Soon Brother, soon.

Hey, been a while but good to see your great work again. Apparently Australia isn't getting the TW Graphene paste wax which is a real shame as this is my preferred type of finish. Cheers Brenton 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Hey Brenton! Hope all is well my friend. Thank you... that's a bummer, this stuff is pretty good!! Appreciate you tuning in my friend 👍👍

Turtle has some good products now, when I first started out in 1977 not so good, you had to remove the wax with a chisel...
🤣 yeah, so I've heard!! This, this stuff is great... really enjoyed using it!! Thanks for tuning in and watching!🤜🤛🤝
@@ronnymb67 I been testing infinity wax Graphene paste and their QDX Graphene topper, had it shipped from the U.K.
@@ronnymb67 awesome that you had a good experience.. haha they have really did good Jon with this. !! Very enjoyable.
sir,
i have a Yamaha 2021'MT-07 thats never been washed and has been garage kept. i want to do a wash and detail on it. it has resudue left over on the rear tail sections as well as both sides of the gas tank from where stickers were removed using 3M adhesive remover. i noticed it has some smear marks also. my plan was to use the Mothers clay bar system with the quik detailer then follow that up with the turtle wax paste wax that you are using in this video. am i doing this process in the right order? and what are the best microfiber towels to use on my motorcycle?
John oh man!!! I CAN wait LOL 😆 hey, that max wax is good as well. Either way you'd be happy. Appreciate you tuning in my friend!!🤝
@@PapaSmurf918Detail One thing I HAVE found is that with paste waxes, if you use a very damp(spray with a bit of water), into a foam applicator pad, then spread the wax on the paint, much easier application and removal. Just a old school tip.
@@johnwagner4559 John that's a great tip my friend!!!
Hello could you help out . I have black wheels on my car . What's a great safe none acid wheel cleaner
Thanks ...
Absolutely! You can go with the Adam's wheel and tire cleaner ( which I currently use ) and it's awesome.. another great one is P&S brake buster.. very affordable and effective 👍👍
Do you know where I can buy it?
Fantastic product . But in my country detailing shops don't even have it 😭
Oh noooo!!! Can you order it?? Will they ship to you?
@@PapaSmurf918Detail the stores won't even get it in their collection and if I order on amazon the shipping adds it up to over 100$
Dam man. That's not worth it imo.. it's good but not 100 dollars good... 😪
PapaSmurf Question what is the proper way to apply the wax. I’ve seen Circular overlap and straight lines does it matter.
Robert.. straight lines, circular motions it doesn't matter.. I do both.. depends how I'm feeling.. just make sure application pad is clean.. car is contamination free and you will have 0 issues. I know people day don't do circular motions... but, face it... as long as your surface is clean and your application pad is clean.. it does not matter 👍👍👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail awesome thank you so much. It was also nice to meet you the other night in the glovebox chat.

Can we apply this wax at A pillar(door post) of car. I have kia seltos car and it has shining black color plastic A pillar frame above front windows
Yes you can absolutely apply this to piano black pillars. 👍 just use a soft plush quality microfiber towel to wipe off. They are soft and can scratch easy. 👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detailthank you so much. But we must not apply this on moldings, trims, alloys and matte plastic under wiper area right?
@@PapaSmurf918Detail and what can we apply on door visors

Did you think we could apply this wax on top a ceramic graphene like Onyx coating ?
Im not 100% sure.. but I imagine so!!

@@PapaSmurf918Detail Thanks.
No problem!
Hi can I use the flex wax to do maintenance after the wash?
Yes, you can absolutely use the flex wax as a topper for this👍
Do you know where I can buy do you k ow where I can get my hands on this??
Turtlewax should sell it. May not be the 75th anniversary one but same wax👍

@@PapaSmurf918Detail in case you were wondering, the ceramic coating and extreme solutions Topper is rejecting the dust that's in my garage. Just a cool bonus that I wasn't expecting.
That's great... I've noticed with topper it's GREAT with not attesting dust... 👍 it's my go to for my gsx after every wash
Should we apply clay bar before applying this
Claying or decontamination steps are definitely not 100% needed but if you want to get the longest life out of your protection is recommend it for sure. Look into a clay towel or mitt as they are less likely to marr. Typically you would wanna polish as well. Traditional clay is abrasive and will need to be followed up with a light polish. 👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail thanks
No problem!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail could you please help me with one more query. I have just asked under this video. Would be grateful 🙂
@@smartaquarius2021 Absolutely. Ask away my friend!
Hahaha wax on wax off indeed!! Thanks Mike! Sorry you didn't get the 75th edition.. at least it's the same wax! Owner was excited for sure. Appreciate you tuning in as always!!
Durability is not my goal. I am looking for gloss mainly
Milan, then this would work perfectly for you! I'm not 100% on the durability but I know it adds deep rich gloss and very nice slickness!
How much it last?
Depending on how you take care of it 6-9 months is a good prediction 👍
Does that orange peel in paint not bother anybody?
