- In this video we add and register a new cisco spine switch to an excisting cisco aci fabric.
Its the same process for leaf switches aswell.
All new nodes shows up with serial number so when racking devices and connecting them to a fabric, make sure to write down the serial numbers so its easier to register them to the fabric.
Video is recorded on Cisco ACI 4.2x - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Good Job , Thanks Magnus
Excellent video
Rizwan Rashid thank you :)
Mag wonderful , apperciating your effort ,you are good with it awesome
thank you :)
Thank you.
After adding a switch you should go to the "Tenant/mgmt/Static node management address" page and give and mgmt address to switch :)
Your welcome, yes that’s correct, I made many short videos for each step so there is one on how to add the mgmt ip aswell
you also need a switch profile, an Interface profile, maybe a vpc cluster pairing...
Thank you Magnus.
No worries!
hi Magnus Holmberg,
Thank you for the video.
I have deployed aci in ESXi, i am able to login to leaf but there is no privileged mode hence I am not able to execute any commands on the leaf
Kindly let me know how can i enter the leaf in privilege mode so that i can apply contracts and check to route
Great video
Thanks! :)
Hi Magnus. Great video much appreciated. One question. Should you connect each leaf to each APIC (i have 2 APIC's) or just to a certain number of leaf's?
All leafs within the same POD should be connected to all spines. (There are exception if you have tier2 leafs)
All APIC should be connected to 2 Leaf switches.
Topology for ACI.
