(I'm a woman) My first date with my future fiance was at a public Dog Park. I wanted to be able to bring my dog as a safety measure (because it can be scary to go on dates as a woman). We enjoyed ourselves a lot at the Dog Park and moved onto a restaurant with outdoor seating (so the dog could come). We've been together 12 years because i went into dating him with the mindset I wanted to get to know him, not use the entire interaction to get gifts or food. I feel like having the attitude these women have about dating doesn't make it about finding love it makes everything a transaction and if men want transactional interaction with women they can go to onlyfans or get a stripper or a prostitute.

That's something that I would never expect from a first date or a guy I haven't even been seeing very long. A first date is supposed to be low-key and easy going. That's why I NEVER go to a restaurant on a first date. As a woman, I don't want to look like a cow shoveling plates of food into my gullet with someone I don't even actually know or trust. Exactly! First dates like the movies, park, skating rink, coffee, are tame first dates to get to know the person, and to not peer pressure anyone to high expectations.
