Will give this a try as it’s a bit different from my usual meatloaf..halving salt and bacon of dietary necessity. Being ‘vintage’ necessitates adjustments 🤣 Gave this book to a sister years ago and it remains her favorite. I however never got one myself...my current study is British rationing cookbooks. Hi Michelle, I enjoyed this video after hearing about you finding them and bringing them home on The Homemaker Husband Channel. I would love to hearing a bit more about that special deal and how you became a connoisseur of cookbooks. I have this love too but have more new ones now than older ones, as I am switching my diet to more plant-based. But I still use my old Better Homes Cookbook for some of the recipes I grew up on. Some of my favorite cookbooks are the community and church cookbooks. They always have good and easy recipes.

I watched this video because Cooking with Neighbors recommended it. First video. Congratulations. I still have many cookbooks despite the ease of recipes online. And remember how my mother and grandmother's cookbooks and recipe cards were well loved. I never had a Fannie Farmer cookbook but love the options for the recipe. Looks delicious without fussy ingredients.

I'm from the UK, just about 40 minutes drive from Worcestershire where Worcestershire sauce was invented. Pronouncing it's name can be very difficult for many people including many brits. So very very often you would hear folks call it just 'Worcester' sauce. It's much easier than it's full name. I too call it Worcester sauce. Hope that helps because it is a mouthful, if you'll pardon the pun. 🙂
Hi Michelle. You certainly don't sound like a new content creator. It sounds like you have done many videos! I am so looking forward to this new channel. I couldn't believe the Fannie Farmer was the first review you did. I gave my copy away a few years ago and have missed it ever since. Another cookbook is not something I need, but I think I will have to replace this one. Meatloaf looked delicious, very similar to what I usually make with the addition of a little ketchup on top. Have subscribed for all.
Thank you for the nice comment. I did the same thing. Got rid of my Fannie Farmer and was regretful as soon as I did it. Got this copy a little while back. I wont make that mistake again. Yes ketchup would definitely be goon on this.
