I managed to get 3 from 10! I got Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela, I got Puerto Rico and Cuba the wrong way around as I wasn’t listening so much to the context and looming for more characteristics!!
Maybe stick ‘girlfriend’ in the title to cheat the TH-cam algorithm, works a treat in the UK!

This was fun! Thanks for sharing. Where or how did you find all the audio clips? Was it just TH-cam, or is there some cool website with many or long clips like this with different accents categorised? It seems like a pretty nifty way to practice.

That first accent sounded pretty caribeño I didn't think it was Peru either. The boricua and the peruana I actually thought might have been chilapas.

Where is the Peruvian one from? Because my tias don't sound like that when they speak. I have family from Peru Bolivia and Argentina and I grew up in a predominantly Mexican area. That didn't sound Peruvian to me I agree with the Venezuelan it sounded very like heavily like Spain influenced which you don't find in Peruvian Spanish.

@@BasilBerryQueer interesting since Spanish people are from neither and Indigenous people encompass every section of the Americas wether you like it our not.
The accent portrayed here wasn't a Peruvian speaking Spanish it was a conquistador descendant speaking Spanish. Indigenous people have a higher population. So it should've been them representing their actual homeland.
Mesoamérica and South America, Central America, and North America.... All indigenous land indigenous people are from all four. Non indigenous people aren't. Sorry to break it to you but white people aren't native to south America at all or any part of the Americas.
