Noticed my bulk head rotting round the door lock brace - might need a aluminium patch from the back in the wheel arch, but have some 1mm rubber sheet that I use to electrically isolate any steel aluminium contact for the bolt stud plate. Was looking at your bulkhead condition in the same area with envy !
Can you just make a shim plate to fit in the gap on the wheel tub? Would be a shame to distort the aluminum plate after all the work you did to make it look so clean. Ain’t fab work fun 😡?!

Wait till you see part 4…. Let’s just say I’ve had the cutters grinders and welder out, and I can’t weld Aluminium🤓🤓
