Thinking about it, could you have cut the spreader plate off the bottom of the brackets and incorporated the nut plate for the door catch brace? 🤔

Good idea, too late now. Thinking about it, it wouldn’t have worked as the leg was too short and I wasn’t gonna cut it off once aligned 🤓🤓

Yes mate, it sure is driveable. She’s over 4 yrs old now and has about 1300 miles on her.
