Preordered this set back when it was first announced and never received it. I'm glad that Amazon was able to make sure that the scalpers received theirs instead of the actually fan's.
Utterly baffling that Ratchet, freaking RATCHET, one of the big G1 legacy Autobots and chosen to be in the 2007 movie, is part of a hard to get set and not a main release AGAIN. That an Arcee recolor is part of this makes it less appealing to get for me.
All of the exclusive nonsense is frustrating. Amazon is bad enough, but Target and Walmart never seem to get them in stock so online scalping happens all the same. The Earthrise line got me into collecting as I love the look and engineering of them, but half of the mains are near impossible to get unless you want to pay 4 times the price.

I decided to go the DYI route...got the "Shattered Glass" Ratchet and customized it to G1 standards. Scalpers ain't gettin' my money on that, especially when they are reissuing the same figure, just in different colors. False scarcity.
For me, I never got the TFCC Lifeline. To get her along with Ratchet is a bonus. My only gripe with the set is that it doesn't come with any tools like the Seige Ratchet did.

All I can say about this set is that Amazon screwed me. They took my order, took my money and said it was out of stock, then in stock, then accepted a order from a friend of mine 3 months later, filled his order (he got his!) and refunded me a week later.
9:04 It drives me batty that they didn’t extend the side stripes to the front of the vehicle like on Ironhide. Why do that? It also sucks he didn’t include the same accessories that Siege Ratchet had. Also, who can we petition to get Hasbro to start painting wheels again?
Lifeline did appear in the G1 Transformers cartoon in the episode "Fight Or Flee", after the Decepticons Cyclonus & Scourge crash landed on Sandstorm's planet Paradron, Lifeline is the seen feeding Cyclonus a spoonful of liquid energon as she is 1 of the friendly Autobots nursing the Decepticons back to health. Too bad the Decepticons repay the Autobots' kindness by conjuring their planet & enslaving them.

Honestly annoyed they decided to release both Ratchet and Ironhide as two-pack exclusives that are nearly impossible to get now. I'm sorry but two of the most popular G1 characters should not be this hard to get. Ironhide I was sort of okay with because he at least came with a character like Prowl but... Honestly does anyone care about Lifeline? Like...at all?
Bumblebee is also impossible to get, and the ones I really wanted were Bumblebee and Ratchet not frigging Crossair and Bugbite. But Amazon decided not to bring the Ratchet & Lifeline set in the EU and I can't find information on whoever in Italy has the Bumblebee exclusive since I can't get it from Zavvi (which seems to carry most of the Netflix line otherwise), Smyths apparently has it in the british isles and the German speaking part of Europe but they have it available only from physical stores and on eBay the cheaper options are more expensive than what I paid for ER Optimus Prime.
I honestly still think its hilarious that Hasbro really tell people to "hide" Arcees head by turning it in vehicle mode, when literally her ENTIRE BODY is in full view lol. Trust me hasbro, rotating her head isn't going to fool anyone looking at the bottom of her vehicle mode lol.
They should have put out Lifeline first because the big backpack makes sense with a medic carrying medical supplies as well as the hover board gimmick could work as a stretcher if you flip it upside down, just like Ratchet's roof is one.
I ordered these and I've been waiting for anything saying they might come. I ordered these back in November. The last time I got any messages about it from Amazon was in the middle of December, after the original date it was supposed to come, they said that it probably wouldn't come by Christmas and it wanted me to aprove the delay or else it would cancel the order. Of course I aproved because I still wanted it, and after that I still haven't heard anything back from Amazon.

Before anyone mentions the Shattered Glass 2 pack, I have never delved into that series. I know nothing about it. I can't even get it imported because of scalpers buying them up & bumping up the price. The cheapest I've seen on eBay is about $150 and that's before postage & import duty.
Ratchet's "lightbar" confounds me. It's similar to Prowl's yet the mold for the roof shows no obvious deviation from Ironhide's. So how does it stay on?
A great set overall, sadly my version had a QC error; the right headlight on my Ratchet didn't get painted. I didn't dare try to return it to Amazon, as I'd never get get a replacement since I was utterly lucky to have gotten it in the first place. It really feels like QC has been dropping for the whole of Siege/Earthrise: I've gotten more than one figure missing pieces, and several paint errors. I don't know if that's just a result of doing business with new factories who aren't as used to chasing these things down, or if they're just pinching pennies and not paying for the level of QC they need.
@@griffinkimball2454 And that's probably true for most of the line, but so far I've had the aformentioned unpainted headlight, my Siege Astrotrain was missing it's rear thruster plate completely,and my first Jetfire one of the hands wasn't pinned properly in place(luckily I was able to return both of these for other toys). Other than that it's been several minor paint quibbles: some stuff not quite painted smoothly, or smears of paint where it shouldn't be. Now, it may just be that I'm a lightning rod for this stuff since I've been basically buying the entire lineup to build an updated G1 Shelf but I've seen complaints from other people about similar issues. Maybe it just feels like there's worse QC overall since I apparently won the failure lottery this time around, but for as good as the last year of figures have been design-wise, it makes me feel they deserve better in consistency.

I’m wondering if you put a Autobot reprolabel on the connection hinge below the front windshield if it rubs against anything? It’ll look more show accurate but it’s pointless if it keeps getting scratched off.
