Cell has superb engineering in tucking the planet mode into the robot mode, but to get him from one mode to the other.... For me, it's not fun. At all. Look, I perfectly understand some of the gripes (like the price, the kibble, or the unpainted bottom teeth [that looks ridiculous]). But for me, Rule #1 of a Transformer toy is that it has to be fun to mess with, especially in _transforming_ them (why else it's called a Transformer?), not a living hell. Indeed, Rule #1 of any toy for me would be that it's fun to play with. To me, it's not truly a toy if you don't want to play and mess with it. Cell disappointed me in that regard, while Hasbro did reasonably well at balancing things out. Cell's robot form looks far better, but planet mode-wise and as a whole package, Hasbro wins in my book. Jesus...where would one even STORE something as big as this?
The detail on that thing is insane. The molding, looks and size make the 575$ sound pretty cheap and atleast well worth the price. Especially compared to some not-even-vintage stuff I collect
I can see the hype one would have for something this grand of something you yourself helped fund, and of a character who has never had a proper figure, watching Thew be in total awe of something this massive was fantastic. I just think that there's a better solution than curling the robot into a ball and unfold multiple layers of panels. I feel like all the budget was focused on sheer size, which I do respect (It does size really well)
Same. At the time I couldn't afford it but now, I wish I had a second chance. The backing price is a steal for what scalpers want. There's one on Ebay for 10k!
Oh my, I'd be terrified of cracking one of those various hinges or arms. That said the transformation looks easier than I imagined, it's just the sheer size that makes it a struggle!
Love the review! And personally speaking, I think both are fantastic figures in their own way... That being said, Haslab Unicron was never going to be a purchase for me solely based on the selling point: his size. I have nothing that could hold him or display him properly like it deserves. Which is a damn shame since it is a magnificent piece.
If we could get a unicron that looks as good as the haslab, is as big as the haslab, but had a better version of cell's transformation, it would be perfect.
Strange fact. He costs more than my grandmothers truck. I'd say that both are worth the price since unicron is gigantic and my grandma's truck has 8 seats and and surprisingly large space for a small pickup truck based Suv.

@@emgo316 He truly is a crown jewel for any Transformers collection
Thanks, Emgo, that actually settled the debate in a very reasonable way
1 Word to describe this: C H A O S
Money
Am I the only one who is just as excited for the skits and the review?
FORGET BIG BOY, HE MIGHT BE THE BIGGEST BOY
This is for sure one of if not the best transformation vid!
This figure. I will have this figure. Somehow.
Me too, somehow
Same some how
Man to see this compared to the Armada Unicron which I finally got puts it to shame, not that I could even afford this one. Glad I at least got to see a review of it. Keep up the great work.
Girl:He doesn't like that
Guy:who?
UNICRON
Edit:yes more vidsss from emgo
@TF Fan calm down. you don't have to talk to people like that. be respectful or you're gone.
@@emgo316 thx that line or thing was just a thing i remembered in tlk anyways thanks its ok if they are saying bad words im used to it
@@montybear_8270 Yeag, but you shouldn't have to be. We all need to be treated well.
I understood that reference
@@obiwankenobi8271ok thnx
I love how Hot Rod just gets dropped every time
"I just felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of wallets suddenly cried out in terror, then were suddenly silenced..."
Wrong franchise i know, but hey, it fits.
31:36 Has anyone else spotted the Toe-Faces on Unicron? Siriously, they guy has a face on each toe.
Jesus...where would one even STORE something as big as this?
I love your endings - they are hilarious!
The detail on that thing is insane. The molding, looks and size make the 575$ sound pretty cheap and atleast well worth the price. Especially compared to some not-even-vintage stuff I collect
Yeah, I agree that the detail on this figure in general is very much solid.
I can see the hype one would have for something this grand of something you yourself helped fund, and of a character who has never had a proper figure, watching Thew be in total awe of something this massive was fantastic. I just think that there's a better solution than curling the robot into a ball and unfold multiple layers of panels. I feel like all the budget was focused on sheer size, which I do respect (It does size really well)
A video of epic proportions!
Easily the most terrifying inner face behind the interchangeable plates I have seen.
I wished I was on board when this came out. Wow that's massive. Love it.
Same. At the time I couldn't afford it but now, I wish I had a second chance. The backing price is a steal for what scalpers want. There's one on Ebay for 10k!
You know what else is strong? Whatever SHELF he puts that thing on!
I have to keep reminding myself that I don't have the room for this. It's the only thing stopping me from getting it.
and not the crazy price on ebay?
@@Nytrusdeathcyde Man them prices!!! $1800+, even seen one for $10,000! No joke!
My new favorite transformer Toy reviewer. Can't wait to do my own.
I thought Emgo wasn't going to get one, but here we are...
I posted two community posts about this...
He really did.
Yea
Nice echo on the voice on the skit my man 👍🏽 much love from the UK. Good work as always
Am I the only one who noticed that, besides the massive shell, he transforms exactly how he does in the 1986 movie?
Yep and I don't mind the shell
not really tbh. the arms are the only similar part.
This WFC toy is a freakin workout tool
If 01 cell was as big as this one it would be the perfect Unicron toy
I hope some other 3rd party or 01 studio themselvee will make a bigger version
But honsetly the transtormation process would be more tidious
Oh my, I'd be terrified of cracking one of those various hinges or arms. That said the transformation looks easier than I imagined, it's just the sheer size that makes it a struggle!
Love the review! And personally speaking, I think both are fantastic figures in their own way...
That being said, Haslab Unicron was never going to be a purchase for me solely based on the selling point: his size. I have nothing that could hold him or display him properly like it deserves. Which is a damn shame since it is a magnificent piece.
The way you said “muscles” was kind of funny
If we could get a unicron that looks as good as the haslab, is as big as the haslab, but had a better version of cell's transformation, it would be perfect.
BEHOLD! the BIGGEST And most impressive Shell former you have ever seen XD
Armada Unicron: Death Star 1
01 Studio Cell Unicron: Death Star 2
Haslab Unicron: Starkiller Base
I never knew these actually came out until now. Man this figure is awesome!
Lord of Chaos in the building...
Strange fact. He costs more than my grandmothers truck. I'd say that both are worth the price since unicron is gigantic and my grandma's truck has 8 seats and and surprisingly large space for a small pickup truck based Suv.
I have summoned you here for a purpose to review the haslab unicron
Now we need a Cybertron Primus in this size and scale.
