I’m just as hung up on Camillus as you gideon. I just bought one from Walmart. It wasn’t being displayed. The guy pulled out the box of Camillus for me to look at and it was in there. All Walmarts have different knives its like an Easter egg hunt. Don’t just go by what they have displayed just kindly ask the employee to let you check the Camillus box under the counter. Also crkt, buck and kershaw. I promise you’ll be surprised. Thanks for the video my friend.
On a large fixed blade it can increase chopping power. On folders it is primarily used to increase sharpened edge without increasing blade length and to created a bit more cutting power by trapping material into the recurve. If you're comfortable with sharpening and using recurves, they can be useful. Otherwise, I advise people to stick with traditional blades.
I’m generally turned off by recurves, but this interesting. I’ll keep my eye open for it. Thanks
Thanks for watching, man!👍

Thanks for watching, man! I absolutely love hunting for cool knives at Wal-Mart. It's kind of my favorite part of the hobby to be honest 😂😂
Interesting to see this version. I have a Custom & Midtech Gunhammer. This would make a decent beater.
It is a very fun knife for the price. Thanks for watching!
I have camillus titanium coated fixed blade, just ordered kizer mercury, have you seen it... knife life bro
I've heard some great things about the Mercury! Not really my style, but I might review it in the future. Thanks for watching, man!👍
Kizer rules the 50 to 100 market inmho. civivi a close second.
Blade centering & detent just fine on mine.
Sweet! Thanks for watching, man👍
Mine formed a dent in the blade because it was smacking the inner connection piece near the tip. Did yours do that?
No, it didn't. I'll keep an eye out for that issue though. Thanks for watching, man!👍
Can't find the weight on their website
Me neither. According to my scale (which sucks) it's about 3 oz.
What is actually the purpose of a recurved blade?
