I should get my Arrow Video Empire of Screams boxset tomorrow, The only one I remember renting at the video store was Robot Jox. Hopefully they make more of these video rental type boxsets in the future.

looking forward to that Arrow box. I saw Dolls, Celler Dweller and The Dungeon Master in their original releases. DM, and CD are dumb fun but Dolls is really good on of Gordon’s best albeit short, I think its 80 minutes. Robo Jox (they’re mech battles no RoboCop) is really good as well. I’ve never seen Arena.
I'm extremely excited for that Arrow Empire boxset. I haven't seen any of the movies. The nerdy collector in me is just so interested in that packaging. I've also got Waterworld and Mallrats coming. I know people like to poop on Waterworld, but I've always loved that movie. Very excited Arrow is giving it one of their premium limited editions.
Not sure about the Arrow box. I've seen a ton of movies....but none of those. Not sure if they just put together a bunch of crappy movies and put some lipstick on a pig..?
Great unboxing of the Empire Box, it is stunning! I snagged one at TFW. I agree with CHH, strong early contender for release of the year between the packaging, extras, and picture quality.
Just picked up Mallrats 4K at Best Buy for $24.99. I haven’t seen it in many years so, this will be fun to revisit. I might even do a 90’s Kevin Smith marathon from Clerks to Dogma.
Charlie Band produced all of those Enter the Video Store movies under Empire, which was the predecessor to Full Moon. He tried to expand too quickly and got into huge financial trouble, so he ended up selling off most of his library to MGM, then he started Full Moon shortly after shutting Empire down. I'm looking very forward to receiving my set. I'm excited to get some of the other movies Band produced that are OOP now, like Spellcaster and Prison, and a better version of TerrorVision. I could see MVD possibly using Vin Syn's transfer for a Spellcaster release like they did with Witchtrap. I'd be all for it.
If you would like for posters have framed with clear frames so you can choose which side you want look at And you don't have to worry about any posters getting ripped
I’m pretty sure I went to my local Best Buy three weeks ago on a Tuesday and they’d already put “Rain Man” out on the shelf for $24.99. They had a card for it printed with the price. I went back a couple days later, and they’d already taken it off the shelf.
Ken, they did add a special feature to the 'Mallrats' release: the commentary track. That was not on the BluRay release, which was surprising to me at the time as the majority of special features on the BluRay/4K are featured on the original Universal DVD and BluRay releases.
I feel like the arrow box will drop to sub $50. I want for the Stu Gordon, but I can wait. I want that waterworld but I have the universal 4k steel and iirc there's no real difference. Ditto mallrats, I have the earlier bluray and still haven't opened it.

Hi have you seen animated series called switch blade and tnt live action of switch blade tv show my son would like to own both of them animated series is in Japanese or Chinese don't for get to add dubbed in english version because Japanese animated series of van hellsing only has 13 episodes and other one With more episodes van hellsing ultimate with 3 or .4 some of the show my son come across animated series like 15or to 2o years, age i s on TH-cam Its a vampire series in blu ray

That Arrow Set is really good, it's like a primer for Full Moon theatrical flicks. Robot Jox is a giant mecha movie before Pacific Rim. Enjoy!

Also the arrow bluray version has the TV cut. the 4k release doesn't even have that.

Dungeonmaster, Dolls and Cellar Dweller were Saturday afternoon delights thanks to Detroit's Thriller Double Feature back in the day.

Robot Jax is kinda like Pacific Rim. Except in fighting an alien race, its Arena fighting amongst to giant robots see who is the best
