From Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures comes "Man of Steel", starring Henry Cavill, directed by Zach Snyder. The film also stars Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Henry Lennix, Christopher Meloni and Laurence Fishburne.

Goes a long way to show that the modern world does not need Plots to make sense; at all; cause this world is a world with flat-earthers, so duh.

@@zarcperalta6378 Considering the kind of things Marvel was putting out by 2013 and the fact that audiences were most likely expecting a lighthearted popcorn flick like the 1978 movie, I wholeheartedly agree.
The movie completely misses the whole point on how superman works..

May your father's soul be in peace brother, he surely was a great man
One love!
"He was convinced that the world wasn't ready"
Well, he was right. This movie was ahead of its time.
To say that it was ahead of it's time would imply that:
1. It influenced subsequent superhero movies. It didn't. In fact, the DCEU is actively moving away from the dark and brooding atmosphere established by Man of Steel, and the comparatively light-hearted MCU is raking in the cash.
2. It did something revolutionary. It didn't. It's just Hack Snyder seeing The Dark Knight and trying to emulate Christopher Nolan's directorial and storytelling style, without fully understanding it.
The modern DC fan is such a brain-dead dolt.
@@SteamGrace Can you reply to me? I wanna write my arguments and stuff but rn I'm too tired to do so.
@@friedmiracle9960 ight

What even crazier is how that line predicted the reaction to the public reception to the film. It was very intentionally Metaphorical. That's why I believe that they had this universe planned all along. Also they film the movie in a documentary style to make the movie feel "real". Yeah, once again one of those cases the trailers were so much better than the actual movie. A shame. That feeling of "wasted potential" yet again
It's interesting how all the timeless masterpieces were disliked by many fans and critics when they first came out, mostly because they broke new ground. Critics didn't like Alien, gave 2001: A Space Odyssey bad reviews, weren't too keen on Batman Begins, et cetera. Then a few years go by, and the same people laud them as landmark films. I think we will see that with Man of Steel. Once the DC Universe movies are in full swing, Man of Steel with get some reevaluation in a new light, and it will get the praise it deserves (though already some critics are already changing their minds about it... it's amazing how fast that happens these days).

Did you guys know Man of Steel was the highest ever box office opening movie in June at the time of its release- second now- and sold over $100 million's worth of Blu Rays in three months? Furthermore, it had an A- Cinemascore on release and got really good word of mouth, which is largely why a lot of my family wanted to see it with me. Still holds a 7.2 on IMDB which is by no means a bad score.
I truly do think a lot of the hate is bandwagon internet hate, and not just from people's inability to express most of their 'criticism.' That's not to say it's without valid criticism, but most people I talk to in real life, recognizing a great deal of people just don't look at Rotten Tomatoes, let alone actually read a lot of reviews, think it was pretty great.
It would be completely true to say it was a successful movie; both financially, and, despite what random hate might tell you, on whole, critically. And now we show some love for this trailer. GIMME THE NEXT BVS ONE.
+Darth TARDIS This movie is a feast of flaws.
Carlo Henrique Valentini It's not perfect, but it has a heap of great stuff about it which makes it a great movie for me that overcomes its flaws. So I disagree.
Darth TARDIS "Great stuff" is a bit too much, but I don't hate this movie, it's 6 out of 10,
Carlo Henrique Valentini Personally I loved a lot of it. 8 out of 10 easily for me. There's no empirical view that's 'correct,' it's subjective.
+Darth TARDIS " Personally I loved a lot of it. 8 out of 10 easily for me."
Really?! Of all the great movies already made, from the oldest to the newest, you give a flawed Superman movie a 8 score? C'mon, go watch the real good movies of the past and of the present, they are much better in matters of concept than your Man of Steel, and most of them didn't even get a 7.
"There's no empirical view that's 'correct,' it's subjective."
So let's talk about what isn't subjective: Jor-El was portrayed perfectly in the beginning, but they changed him in the ending, it's a big mistake to change something that is perfect. Faora turns her reasons into mysteries, making her a better villain than Zod. The best actors of the movie die very soon, they could at least help carrying the movie. The story was working greatly, until Snyder discarded it to show noisy fights.
Man, I loved this movie. I grew up my whole life being an outcast and a loner and bullied since I was a little kid. I'm a Batman fan, but this is one of the best trailers i've ever seen!
ricardo vazquez It' s okay to like them both you know.
***** the song is from which movie plss tell to me I wan to hear tht song
ricardo vazquez god trailers, crap film.
MovieTalk 1863 i am too ,,but ZACK SNYDER literally gave the best portrait of Man of Steel,,he made him suffer like a human inspite of being a god and then emerged him as a symbol of HOPE as JESUS CHRIST
Inspirational
Whenever I feel low and depressed this gives me HOPE to Rise
why? superman literally must’ve killed over 10,000 people bro 😭
this is not a superman movie, it’s a slaughterhouse
-The world wasn't ready , what do you think ?
Me: It definitely wasn't
Such an under rated film. Great movie!!!!
Definitely one of my favorites
Kal-El: He was convinced, that the world, wasn't ready. What do you think?
I believe some parts of the world wasn't ready for a new and fresh look on Superman, but a lot of us were.
Superman isn't a brooding emo
Wise Ass Ackbar and neither was cavills superman.
Wise Ass Ackbar Such a childish accusation. He wasn't emo...he has the fucking world on his shoulders you coddled brat.
It seriously takes both worlds, The REAL world wasn’t ready for a serious take on supes and The DCEU world was wasn’t ready for a “Superman”
Alan Ackbar if you want emo, look at batman
Watching this film as a kid was the coolest thing in the world. The casting was perfection and the atmosphere being breathtaking. Then there’s the Man of Steel himself. Thank you Henry for donning the cape and being one of the greatest of Supermen to grace the big screen. The cape will be passed but the legacy lives on.
Jesus fucking Christ. I have seen this movie like 15 times. I have seen ZSJL 4 times now and its a masterpiece. I dont understand how WB decided to not follow through with this storyboard. Its insane... Man of Steel and ZSJL is the greatest combic book movies I have seen (my opinion). Fyi I find Infinty war and engame really good too, so no fanboying on me plz.
I love how this is one of the worst superman movies (not just as an succesor of the comics) and the Kryptionias made it into a yt-video named 'Advancd Sci Fi Civilizations Too Stupid To Really Exist' but everyone in this commentsection is high-on-sugar about this.
Goes a long way to show that the modern world does not need Plots to make sense; at all; cause this world is a world with flat-earthers, so duh.
@@slevinchannel7589 Ok
Art : Man of steel
Artist : Snyder
Yup
This movie was WAYYY ahead of time. Masterpiece 🔥
I can't agree more
THIS is Superman!!! You can’t change my mind!!! I get teary eyed every time I watch these trailers. Everything about this movie is perfect!!!
This is not superman you don’t understand superman’s character
We're ready for you, Superman. You're my hero, my inspiration, my ideal.
Αn Ideal of Hope .
Thank you Henry Cavill, for everything. We will miss you…😢

the most underrated movie in the history of the world!
the best superhero movie of all time
it's not my personnal favorite superhero movie, but it's the most underrated
Worst film ever. If you think this film is underrated then i bet you also thought Green Lantern was too. Spoiler Alert! Superman fans eagerly awaiting this film were all met with some bull shit disaster porn that had the man of steel kill his enemy, destroy Metropolis and some how do this with barely any lines of dialog from the man himself. Don't even mention Russell Crow......
I can give some negatives...Kevin Costner's performance is pretty bad?
Dominique Deguire BS he did a great job, Amy Adams maybe, but Costner was great
Best Superman movie ever.
How sad is that fact..
Yes
Now THIS is a freakin Superman trailer!
No
@Thedarkknight27474 cry more gunn fanboy
The second song is:
STORM (Craig Armstrong And A.R Rahman)
Thumbs up!
Thanks! And the first one? It's very gladiator esque
@@Dieregorn Elegy Lisa Gerrard
Can't lie..Henry Cavill is my favorite Superman/Man Of Steel...his suit makes sense, his origin...hes the man's man! He physically looks the part & OWNS IT.
A superhero origin movie that never been topped by any other creation. Timeless masterpiece which allowed all the world reawaken love to this character. Cavill's Superman showed us how the true symbol of hope was born. It's a shame that we wasn't able to see him after that development process... WB ruined that chance in the crucial moment
Goodbye Cavil ❤😢
Better than Gunn’s trailer. I miss it when movies were made like this. This is how a trailer is done.
Still one of the best trailers of all time ❤
This movie is aging like a fine wine year after year
Man of steel will be hard to top IMO
The most underrated movie I've ever seen.
Superman returns
One of the all time greatest among trailers ever made. Hands Down.
Still the best Trailer ever made ❤
This trailer still sends a shiver down my spine, the mixture of those two scores are perfect
The score when Suoerman takes flight is by Craig Armstrong. It is called "Storm".
Yeah even before this trailer finished I knew I won't miss the movie in the cinema no matter the reviews and I'll like it. And it didn't disappoint.
Thank you Henry Cavill 🤧😭😭😭
