Thank u guys for the sweet replies, we saw the Batman and we absolutely loved it! My dad was the biggest Batman nerd ever, he always said he’d love it if I worked for DC. I made a drawing of Batman and Joker for him when I was 9 and he never took it off the fridge. He never gave up on me, bought me a ton of art supplies and everything I needed. Right now I’m working on a piece of him as Batman :) I hope he’s proud of where I am in life now.
I agree,man. There´s no need to DC for creating an cinematic universe like Marvel. Stand alone films are way better. Besides, not all MCU films have their identity,except the first Iron Man, Winter Soldier or Guardians of the Galaxy.

But they all feel like the same movie with different settings and characters. Ig they successfully created a Marvel Universe because it feels like every film since 2012 is set in the Avengers world.
Unfortunately they cast a much less handsome and sophisticated-looking actor to play a handsome and sophisticated character. Pattinson just looks silly as Batman. I will admit, though, playing Batman as a nutter is pretty interesting. I think it’s a Batman who would be very defined by his relationship with his version of the Joker.

That scene where Penguin's upside-down and Batman slowly approaches him with flames burning behind him is absolutely chilling/stunning. Looks like Matt Reeves has done the unthinkable with live-action Batman - make him terrifying.
The use of The Batman theme throughout the movie makes the entire film honestly. Every time that song either subtly starts up or just pops in out of no where always sends me chills.

They’re truly trying to portray Batman as a terrifying character from the perspective of the villains in Gotham; the final shot for example is a role reversal of a typical horror trope, that being the killer walking slowly towards the car while the helpless victim waits terrified. There’s even a low angled shot of his feet which you could easily swap out for Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees and the Penguin out for a victim

I remember watching Spiderman's Home coming Trailer, and i saw the start, middle, and end, JUST by watching that trailer. THIS trailer however. THE BATMAN looks to be epic, and not much is shown, as it should be!
He's right around a year-and-a-half in, so it's not an origin and at the same time he's not seasoned like Affleck was by the time we first met his Batman. Since Affleck is my favorite live-action version, it'll be interesting to see where Pattinson ranks (of course, pretty much everyone is ahead of Clooney just based on their trailers alone, especially here).
Yes mate. Bruce Wayne is Batman for less than 2 years in this movie, so he’s still kinda confused, bothered or you could say rough. Not like seasoned Batman in Nolan’s TDK/TDKR nor Batfleck.

The Riddler is a PERFECT villain for a young Batman! We have rarely seen any detective work from Batman in the live-action movies, and he's going to have to go full on detective to crack Riddler.

I love how Catwoman says: "Maybe we're not so different" and later as she sees Batman beating a man to death with his bare hands, she realizes they are very, very different.
I'm here after finishing watching the Penguin and all I can say is that the universe Reeves started with this movie is to become the ultimate Batman experience.

Just in case anyone is hesitant to see this movie because of Robert Pattinson or any other reason, think twice. The movie is dark, chilling, and action packed. The riddler is disturbing and amazing an absolute 10/10 must watch
Play the Arkham games. He's basically an angry God. When you do those multiple people take downs, the way he moves and the speed makes you think exactly what all the criminals say in the comics when they see him fight "Is that actually a human?!"
Mehh, this trailer doesn't make him terrifying. I would love so much though if they make a Batman movie that's more like a horror movie through the eyes of criminals. Kinda like in Batman v Superman when Batman rescued the victims of human trafficking. Batman has huge potential as a horror movie.

So i have a bad feeling about this Batman but then again gotta give it a chance coz why not, maybe one day WB will finally nail Batman perfectly and actually produce a franchise that can go toe to toe with Marvel.

He's right around a year-and-a-half in, so it's not an origin and at the same time he's not seasoned like Affleck was by the time we first met his Batman. Since Affleck is my favorite live-action version, it'll be interesting to see where Pattinson ranks (of course, pretty much everyone is ahead of Clooney just based on their trailers alone, especially here).

I'm here after finishing watching the Penguin and all I can say is that the universe Reeves started with this movie is to become the ultimate Batman experience.

Play the Arkham games. He's basically an angry God. When you do those multiple people take downs, the way he moves and the speed makes you think exactly what all the criminals say in the comics when they see him fight "Is that actually a human?!"

The dark cinematography with mixtures of neon lights, the aesthetic shots and visuals, the atmosphere of no hope, the mysterious dystopian vibe. This is gonna be the PERFECT Batman film.

That's why Gotham’s aesthetic looks like is straight up ripped from the comics😉

That’s why I love this Batman. He’s not just a pure good, hero type. This is a man you actually have to fear. As he said, you see that bat symbol in the sky, you don’t see it as a call, but a warning that Batman is coming.
