    Nice video on above subject. For learners information There are other factors which also contribute for the rudder carrier bearing wear down and increased rudder drop, they are water Ingress into rudder through hairline crack on body ,damaged bottom plug ,Shear off of securing Bolt on the rudder stock, excessive pintle clearances. But the most probable cause wud be Hydraulic oil contamination & insufficient lubrication.
