Nice video on above subject. For learners information There are other factors which also contribute for the rudder carrier bearing wear down and increased rudder drop, they are water Ingress into rudder through hairline crack on body ,damaged bottom plug ,Shear off of securing Bolt on the rudder stock, excessive pintle clearances. But the most probable cause wud be Hydraulic oil contamination & insufficient lubrication.
Very good animated vedios and clear cut explinations, no need to study theory part , anyone preparing for exams can just watch this vedios and and able to clear it, thankq very much sir🙏

Sir for rotary vane steering gear, the movable vanes are keyed to the rotor, and these vanes along with the stator form pressure chambers. Then how shall it accomodate the wear down by moving down?
