Q: Why your video in ppt form? 3rd grade?
A: Due to my poorly spoken English and laziness in retaking videos, I just take some photos out of my phone and call it a day.
Q: What is your dac/amp?
A: Topping E30ii + L30ii / Onkyo DP-X1A / Moonriver 2 / Apple Dongle / Focusrite 2i2
Q: Do you have song list for earphones/headphones testing?
A: Technically yes, but usually I just listen to what I feel like at that moment. And this time, I certainly do have good memories in the following tracks.

Q: Your earphones collection / music taste sucks.
A: That's a fact.
Free free to ask for comparison among earphones that I own, I will try to answer as a filthy casual :)

Kato and Kadenz enjoyers rejoice in being able to use each others nozzles
Thanks for the shout-out, this is my first shoutout in a video , thanks man...
I just might buy these to replace my lost Kato. Out of the many IEMs I've tried, Moondrop's K series still has my heart.
almost forgot, how's the seperation, kato really falls off on busy tracks
@@toan.2764 Tough question, I'd say it's definitely better than Kato since you can dsp it into a more contrasty sound to get a better sense of separation, but I'd say it still falls short, when comparing to hybrids.
The worst part about not trusting audio reviews is not having anywhere to try things out due to the place you live ;-;
@@altzard6170 D;
Do you know how it compares to the ke4? Also, I'm upgrading from the original Aria.
Since I've never owned a pair of KE4, so really cannot comment much on that.
I was so sad that I sold off my Kato to buy a Dusk. The dusk lack the comfortability as well as the awesome cable. I am seriously eyeing for this pair if it can resembles the Kato shell.
it's literally the same, also the cable is indeed "nice" but could be less stiffer
If I want one do it all IEM, would this be the one to get considering it comes with a good cable and dsp? I currently use Shure se215, and they sound so muddy. Would love something that's clear across the entire range. Preferably with a bit of noticeable sub bass, but guessing the dsp can help with that
edit: also sadly I cant try any IEMs and return them, since it's not allowed in Norway because of hygiene concerns
se215 is so outdated and not comparable to modern iem (coming from someone who own 535 years ago), and if you're not sure about which one to get and don't want to spend big in the hobby yet, I'd whole heartedly recommend getting MD May, and get a feeling of dsp first (if anything else, im using May on an analog cable with 0 dsp as my daily driver).
While Kadenz is in another level of technicality, it's triple of the price overall.
@@catadegen Found the moondrop may locally for just 65usd including 25% tax, so technically just 52usd!
With it being that cheap i can always just upgrade later after knowing better what kind of tuning i like!
also they look a lot cuter than the kadenz :3
Thanks a lot 💕
@@catadegen Just got my moondrop may's! Overall I'm quite happy with them! Will have to tweak the EQ a bit to my taste, but that's easy enough.
One problem i have though is the nozzle size. They fit fine in my right ear, but not my left. I am able to get a seal, but they sit very far out, and fall out easy. I got the moondrop spring tips as well, and they help a bit since theyre more sticky, but it's not optimal still.
Do you have any advice, or are the may just too big for my ear?
@ei.. Regarding to eq, I'd suggest trying out setting every value to 0, so that it's close to analog tuning (which is surprisingly close to annihilator 2021, graph wise).
For eartips, did you fully push the eartips down? Because May shell size is relatively small already, if anything problematic, I think it's the eartips size i
Or installation. You may check out my eartips guide as well, so as to have a grasp of what to look for.
@ei.. I'm currently still using May with it's default M size eartips, iirc it's kinda hard to push it all down tho.
Hey fellow weeb, have you tried the Tanchjim origin? moondrop kadenz does kinda have the same tuning as the origin, and im planning to get the origin for jpop. what do you think?
@saberarisu Unfortunately I've have never owned a pair of origin, so really cannot comment much on it.
@@catadegen Its fine, thanks
I was looking for a Kato upgrade. Seems like Moondrop did it themselves
How does the kadenz compare vs the blessing 3?
@jondandavekinanahan7488 it's hard to compare, because it's dd vs hybrid, they fundamentally sound different. However, I'd land my hand on b3 more because it's lighter and more comfortable.
@@catadegenHave you tried the Dita project m?
Cool. the 1st review of this interesting IEM.
Very convincing indeed to not trust anyone even you too 😂. Only trust our very own eyes and ears
Wanting to upgrade my hexa, how does this compare to kiwi ears quintet? (i cant test iems in my region TT)
my consideration:
1. amount of accessories and the casing (really like the black casing)
2. MONEY
finally and most importantly..
I Don't GET ANIME COLLECTION CARD AND BOX WITH KIWI EARS!!! MAJOR TURN OFF
@imzelone Unfortunately I've never owned a pair of quintet, so I really cannot comment too much on it. But overall package wise, this thing is hard to beat.
@@catadegen unfortunate :/ thanks tho
hey as a fellow weeb, what budget iem would u recommend for listening to weeb music
Ay you, hello there, at around 20 bucks, i'd recommend Truthear Gate (better overall package) or 7hz Zero 2 (better vocal).
Is this worth upgrading to from a sub $100 iem, like the hexa or tangzu xuan nv
For the longest time I'm not a fan of the sound of Hexa, so even if I ignore build quality/accessories etc, it's a strong upgrade regardless;
For tangzu xuan nv, again, since i've never owned a set, so I can't comment too much on it.
Thanks ,this is a great set to consider and thanks for the review.
@@catadegen hey another question here, is it necessary to pair the kadenz with a dac like the dawn pro or the echo b dsp dongle good enough. Does it sound good if auto eq to the blessing 3? I got to try out the b3 and really enjoyed it but too expensive for me.
@@xingheng7336 Nah, it's not necessary to pair it with a dac, and the dongle is good enough. And yes, it sounds really good when you eq it into b3, and you can check out my original video description section, that eq i used, is a reference to b3 tuning.
@@xingheng7336 You don't need to auto eq it to exactly b3 graph. Just tune it roughly (like i just used a 3 lines rough eq to get good enough clone out of it), and then fine tune it, because if you tune it to the exact value, usually the dynamics will be limited or sound wrong in a weird way (at least, to my ears).
this or aria 2
Never owned a pair of aria 2.
Arigato oni tan
How's this faring compared to illumination?
Since I've never owned a pair of illumination, so really can't comment much on it :/
