Hi I aligned the timing chain mark, after one rotation the timing chain mark doesnt aling with pullley, i hope that is normal after one revvolution.. pls advise.

Great video! Question: I see there's a square-shaped port (with four screws, maybe 10-mm?) on the timing cover. Is that a port for the timing chain tensioner? I'm curious if I could try and drain the oil and open that port if I want to only replace the timing chain tensioner - ? (Having a cold start rattle here which, I'm assuming, is due to an old tensioner.) Or, would you recommend going to a shop for the whole timing kit replacement (chain, tensioner, guides)? Thank you in advance.

Hi i have a Toyota Vitz SCP90 1.3L 2SZ-FE +VVTi , it is making a noise not when its cold but when the oil gets hot, when driving only and hit the gas it will make a rattle noise, I all ready changed the timing chain but I did't changed the sprockets and still i have that bad noise mostly when you drive up a hill so it needs gas. thank you.

As such it is difficult to tell anything, but how far your car has been km driven

If it was timing related the misfire would be a constant. You should check your error codes but go over your fueling and spark.

You posted 3 months ago Toyota Camry transmission fluid and filter replacement 2002- 2010. You showed the filter part # 35330-08010 so I just ordered a transmission filter at Toyota dealership and they said my part number is the same as the one you have. But my car is a 2003 Toyota Camry Xle 3.0v6 with the 5sd automatic transmission. So can the same filter fit my car? Please reply thanks
